I felt it could of been better. That they just go through the motions. I watched someone next to me getting a massage and they used a different method. I recently was in need of a good message for my stiff neck and shoulders and so I stopped by this spa because it is close to my home. I appreciated that it was a very clean and quiet environment. I took advantage of the 90 combo message for $60 and received a very relaxing message from Ellen. She was able to relax all of the sore muscles of my neck and shoulders and just gave an overall relaxing message. Their body massage package, they have you sit down with a pillow on your lap while your feet are soaking, will be pressing down on your shoulder. So yeah, imagine all your body weight plus their body weight being pushed down your back or spine. I felt super uncomfortable. Wow. This was our BEST Asian spa experience up to date! Absolutely perfect full body + foot reflexology combo for only $38 (75 min!!!). What we loved was the attention to detail from beginning to end, perfect amount of pressure (strong where it needs to be like my poor sore back muscles and soothing at other places like the scalp) The spa was very cozy and relaxing. My boyfriend and I got our own room wth huge comfy chairs that converted into massage beds! Beautiful calming music just at the right volume, great temperature (I usually get cold at the Asian massage places but this one was perfect!) and very sweet, attentive therapists. My friends & I hiked about 26 miles in hiking boots along with a 20-pound backpack each (and the extra baggage I already carry ) & our bodies were really feeling the aftermath. We decided to get massages. Rainbow Foot Spa had a $38 special for a 75 min full body massage. What a deal! The three of us decided to purchase the special & were escorted to a curtain-enclosed room with three chairs. They offered us hot tea or water & we gladly accepted. After a few minutes, they got to massaging our shoulders & back, followed by our neck. The pressure was surprisingly & refreshingly intense. I kinda wondered if she wondered why I was so tense & my muscles were so tight, but we never spoke of it haha. Afterwards she massaged my face, head, & helped to stretch my arms & back. My legs & feet were also in the mix. Also some hot stones too! I honestly don't remember in what order, but I can vouch for a relaxing treatment. It was different & I liked it! If I lived in the area, I'd definitely be a regular. I am terrible about stretching before & after my workouts & I think a monthly massage similar to the one I got from Rainbow I would be very beneficial. I'm used to going in for a massage and stripping down to my underwear, but we didn't do that here aside from unhooking our bras and lifting our tops to massage our backs. We had a big group coming in. I personally like my massage despite the fact my masseuse did not speak basic english so it was impossible to guide her on my needs. However - half of our big party did not enjoyed the massage at all due to not being able to communicate and say it's painful/etc... But all that wouldn't made me grade them 2 stars if it wasn't the worst paying experience I've had... When i came to pay for our party the lady kept asking me how much tip i wanna leave, then i gave 12% tip. She was pulling a laminated tip chart to show me that i need to tip 10-20 dollars on each person. I added couple of more dollars (kinda round it up) and she kept insisting that i must leave a higher tip. I told her listen lady, that's what i decided to tip you guys, goodbye! I'm sad I have to write such a low review for a place I frequent and enjoy visiting. The massage(s) were as usual, enjoyable. I brought someone along to introduce them to the new spa as well. As I was signing my check, I left a tip per usual. I tip the consistent 20%, but this time left a little more. As I was asking for a stamp card, the lady at the front unpleasantly looked at the receipt and handed it back to me stating I should "tip more". 1. I'm a regular customer and as stated, tip no less than 20% on every visit. Tips are optional.. that being said I still tip for service. 2. What I left originally is what I felt deemed proper for both the total and service provided. 3. It's not only tacky, but extremely rude to hand someone the receipt back to ask for more. Especially someone who consistently visits the spa and chooses to spend their money there. I won't be back based on that situation. Massages are a luxury, not a necessity. I'm part of the population that doesn't like their feet touched. So why did I go here? Because my sister got a $20 Groupon for 30 minutes of "ion detox" and 30 minutes of foot reflexology... why not! We arrived and it looked very small in there -- don't let the curtain fool you, there's a lot of space behind it lol. I'd definitely call ahead next time to make an appointment -- although walk-ins still welcome -- the lady didn't seem happy that we were walk-ins. She still took us right in and got us set up. It's more dim behind the giant curtain but there are about 7 reclining chairs -- like I said, lots of space. Our Groupon package consisted of two things: (1) "ion detox" -- which I, myself, don't believe in because... science. You stick your feet in hot water while you have an arm band attached to you and a machine. You soak for 30 minutes and somehow your water ends up a specific color. The color your water ends up determines where the "detox" came from. Apparently my yellow-ish/orange water was detox from my joints... but how. Aside from science, it was relaxing to sit with my feet in warm water (as weird as it sounds). Anyways, (2) foot reflexology -- which is a facing way to say a "foot massage". TIP: wear shorts or pants you can roll up because they massage from the knee, down. Because I wasn't prepared, my pants went up to half my calf so my feet and half of my calves got reflexology'd. The massage was nice, but I learned that I'm ticklish and had to hold myself back from pulling my feet away. They offer more than foot massages here: body massages, hot stones, and waxing, too. The staff was very friendly and service was great. Truthfully, I'll only come back if my sister buys me another Groupon. LOL. read more

We were sceptics when we started the ion therapy part of the treatment but became a believer when my friends joint pain went away. Wear shorts. A place to go after a rough day at work. Amazing! Ms. Helen did my service. She started at my head and neck, then on to my arms, hands, feet, shoulders and back. She worked out every stressed caused kink in my shoulders. She has strong hands with a lot of pressure. Just what I needed. The Spa was clean. Everyone, including us, had masks on. I even saw them disinfecting the rooms when we were finished. I went here with my daughter after a long trip on her birthday. I usually give a tip of $10 for both me and my daughter($5/each) . I like my experience it is just that when i started paying i gave him the $10 first for the tip and he raised his voice to me asking SO YOUR NOT HAPPY WITH THE MASSAGE? and i replied oh no it was good and he said SO WHY IT'S ONLY $10 ?AND HE POINTED OUT THE "TIP GUIDELINES " I can say, That i didn't notice when i came. The massage experience for me, i can say 4 STARS. But forcing the customers to give $10 or more for the tip is unacceptable. So i think i cannot recommend this place. read more

Blown away at how great the massage was. I get a massage at least once a month. I've tried many different spas in Las Vegas and am mostly more disappointed than satisfied. I wasn't expecting much from this place but wanted to give it a try. I heard good things about it from a nail salon and then I went on Yelp to read the reviews. The reviews seemed mostly positive, and the bad reviews are mostly just from cheap people complaining about the tipping process. I called ahead and made an appointment for 2 in a private room. We chose the 75 min special for $38. It started off with a shoulder massage while we sat up and soaked our feet. Amazing! Everything about the massage was great. Even included a short hot stone massage at the end. We tipped $15 each. Don't think about the tip percentage when you go to a massage spa like this. These employees probably don't make an hourly wage and if anything, might make a small commission per each massage and rely on your tip. If you think they deserve $5 for massaging you for an hour, then you're cheap. Don't go get massages if you can't afford it. A $10 tip plus the cost of the massage, is still cheaper than the cost of a 50 min high end massage. Help these employees make a decent living! They're helping you feel better! read more

I have been to just about every so-called "Foot Spa" looking for straight reflexology-even in Chinatown. Having lived in Thailand I know massage is massage and reflexology is FEET only. This place actually does do straight REFLEXOLOGY for feet-they even have a wooden prong to use as is done in Asia. I did the 1 hour reflexology and ionic detox. The other day a couple girlfriends I came here for an early bday thing and to have relaxing mom time. Everything was great until we came to the front to pay. I handed my therapist a five dollar tip which I was so embarrassed about. I had no cash and had forgotten my wallet and found $5 in my purse. The whole time he was massaging me I was thinking, " wow he is really good! I would feel bad not to give him more than $5." I was thinking that (A) in the end I can just swallow my pride and get the hell out of there quick and get away with a lousy tip, or (B) I can have my friend drive me home and I'll come back with extra since that was not my intention and we were five minutes away. But noooo! The balsy manager humiliated and embarrassed me about my tip. He waved my five dollars around for all the see and kept saying, "massage no good? Massage no good?" I humbly explained that's all I had on me. Yes the tip was measly but in no way should he have conducted business like that. Seriously dude!? He didn' t have a to throw a fit for a few damn bucks! And not to mention, had he made me feel bad, I would've came back to make it right. All I can say is he lost a lot of referrals from my friends and I and this place left a bad taste in my mouth as loose as my back was. Lol. Yes and don't say it! Five bucks is nothing! We usually go to a place in Spring Mountain but my fiancé and I decided to try this place out since it's close to our house. The employees seemed pleasant but the experience was definitely below par. We both chose the 75 min hot stone service. We were taken into a private room similar to one's in Chinatown. They start off on your shoulders while you sit on the footstool of what looks like a recliner. The massage was ok and incorporated some stretching which was nice. The pressure, however, was very light even after asking. I told the person working on me that I had a stiff neck but they did not address it until I asked multiple times. The worst part about the whole experience was that both therapists repeatedly left the room for extended periods of time throughout the session. I even tried telling my therapists that this was our first time there in hopes that they would be a little more focused. A little while later, he walked out of the room again! This happened so frequently and for such a long duration that we ended up deciding to leave. We were really looking forward to finding a good spot near the house but I guess we'll have to keep looking. read more

I am so upset about this place. I was very excited about getting a massage. And don't get me wrong the massage was amazing but after the massage the rude behavior of the manager after receiving my tip was unprofessional and unacceptable. That is NOT the way to run a business. I will not be recommending this place to anyone. I will be sure to give friends/family a heads up about the unprofessional behavior. When you work in a business that works off of tips you do not for whatever reason give an attitude for any amount of money that is given to you. I gave a $7 tip. And was treated rudely. Now I wont go back so there goes more money in their pocket. Perhaps a bigger tip next time due to me being a regular now, or possibly having more cash to tip on me. Just because you get one tip one day from a regular that enjoyed the business and customer service doesnt mean you will always get that when I return. Why risk losing a customer over your rude behavior? That's less money for you, and now word of mouth gets around and you lose business. Its not worth it. Take your tip and be grateful. Unfortunately I will not be returning. Forgive me for only giving $7 but now you have lost a customer and from what i can tell from a few other reviews this isnt the first time this has happened. One hour detox package is actually 25 min foot massage and 30 min of soaking your feet in a basin with their detoxing machine on. Do not come here with the GROUPON and expect a full body massage. Huge disappointment since we had three people but they only had two workers. My sister had her foot soaked for 25 min until she got bored as two people worked on myself and her bf. Then the lady left to the front desk and the guy stayed behind to finish my sister. This place would be good IF you get the $38 90 min massage (I think) as other people rave about it in their reviews. I probably should have read the groupon more carefully. I didn't think they'd just let your feet soak in water without massaging you shoulders or neck. However the guy that worked on me was good.
