I've been here before and I thought and enjoy the experience as I did the first time, but I was wrong. The massage they gave to me and my mom was pretty rough. They spent most of the time on the feet, and not enough really on the rest of the body. Instead of being relaxed throughout the massage, I felt like they were trying to get all of my knots out in one go, leaving me breathless and weak. My arms are still pretty weak from the massage too, and my mom said that the lady gave her a headache from massaging her scalp too hard. My mom asked her masseuse to not go as rough, but they still went rough since I heard her say it was too rough several times during our session. The thing that made it the worst experience for me and my mom was the customer service. How are they going to demand a $10+ tip when tips are basically based on what the customer would like to give EXTRA? They're lucky that my mom even tried giving a $5 tip in cash, but when handing it to the guy in the front, he DEMANDED $10 for tip? My mom said that a $5 tip was all she had, then as she was walking away, he said "Lady, it's $10 tip minimum." Like really dude? First of all, saying "lady" and not "excuse me" is totally rude! and you got to be kidding me for demanding customers to pay 26%-27% tip even when they didn't really enjoy it? A real embarrassment of an establishment that's still running in the condition of owners who don't care about what they customers feel. Might as well just raise the price to $48 and not ask for a $10 tip to cover that problem. This place is super clean. Hannah however gave me the most painful, careless, least gentle massage I've ever gotten in my life. Ended up here cuz the other place had an hour wait. Fine... A little different specials like 75 minutes for $38. (So also better than the $50 neck shoulders and back deal at yet another place.) Why how then... Cuz the therapist named Joe already focuses on the trouble areas without it being like a special massage routine. All of these places have a routine. If you're one with 'flank steaks' for your shoulder knots, then ask for Joe. What set them apart is my best friend Elaine and I were able to get a separate area, and its not open with all the chairs lined up. And they gave water bottles here too at the beginning of the session. Also their chairs prop up like a recliner. The set up was just nicer. Calm purple walls and dark wood floors. I have been coming here for years. Brought my son in, it was his 1st time ever having a massage. When he went to pay he gave the guy a 10% tip, I usually do 20% but again he hasnt done this before and didnt really know what to tip. The guy checking him out told him the tip was not enough and was giving him a hard time about it when I walked in. To say i was livid was an understatement. Yesterday evening I had my first 90 minute massage at Rainbow Foot Spa and it was SO good! It's super clean, dimly lit (perfect to relax in), and has a calming atmosphere to it. At $58 for a 90minute massage I thought maybe it was to good to be true! I work long hours in high heels, and I also work out a lot, so my feet, calves and lower back by the end of a work weekend is pretty sore- I had Elaine, and she worked out all my tight spots and I definitely fell asleep once she started on my feet . I'm so glad they reopened - I missed my massages. They now cover the beds with clean white sheets so that you are not touching anything from the previous customer. Also they wear masks and require guests to keep one on during the massage. I visited the establishment for the first time yesterday. My foot massage was ok. The staff was friendly. However, when I paid for me and my sister. I left a 20% tip. The guy at the counter stated I had to pay a minimum of $10 to each Masseuse because this was their policy. I was doing enough when I paid the 20%. I came out of $4 more. Be sure to check out their Yelp Check In Offer! $20 for an hour detox which includes 30 minutes for the detox foot soak process and 30 minutes for foot reflexology massage. In total a 60 minute package. This is super awesome because it's just the right amount of time to relax and at a great price. The overall condition of the facility was clean and decorated nicely. It seemed a bit warm, but very cozy. The staff was very courteous and did a great job of making me feel comfortable. With this massage (I didn't even get this lady's name bc of the situation that happened) I left feeling the exact same as when I came in. I go to pay for my massage and I leave a $7 tip. Before I could finish writing the total, I am confronted about my 18.4% tip that I CHOSE to leave out of the kindness of my heart! She asked me "were you not happy with the massage?" I replied, "it was alright. Why?" Her: Ppl usually leave more if they're happy Pause---HOW UNGRATEFUL!!! How are you mad about money I chose to GIVE you that I didn't HAVE TO!!??? I did the 75 mins for $38, and tipped $20. It starts with a warm foot soak while receiving a shoulder and neck massage. Head, foot arches, legs and back are then deep tissue massaged with lotion. As with all places you can ask for softer or harder. The back is also oil massaged and ends with a hot stone rub. If you've been to foot spas in Chinatown, it is practically the same routine. I was a regular at the one next to Monta, but I will be coming here from now on. They have punch cards so I recommend asking for one. I used to work at an establishment similar to one like this, and if it is the same, the employees are paid in tips. So keep this in mind if you don't like their tipping system. For me, it is still worth paying $58 for 75 minutes as opposed to a chain spa that charges more than that for an hour not including tip. read more

I would 1000% recommend NO ONE go here for a massage. I was inappropriately touched in my private area twice during my massage by a male therapist. He also had terrible draping techniques exposing the entire backside of my body when lifting the entire sheet upwards. I've had MANY massages and would go almost monthly in my hometown so I am more than familiar with how a typical fully body massage goes. In addition to those instances, the male therapist also moved my underwear to expose more of my glute area. In past experiences, the therapist will usually massage the glute area with a sheet (using the sheet to prevent skin to skin contact) or will ask the customer if they are comfortable with being massaged in that area. I have never felt so violated in my life. Police were involved and I filed a report. The manager was no help and defended the employee as if I was making this up. I immediately ended the massage as soon as the male therapist touched my private area a second time because I thought the first time may have just been a slip up/accident. If anyone experienced something similar, PLEASE speak up. I am getting a case together and a lawyer!!! read more

My only negative thing to say is that with the restaurant opening next door, you can hear dishes clanging every so ofter and the muffled sound of people talking. We came here with a big party. We called around and this place was the only one that would accommodate our party. From my experience from other spas, I always feel refreshed and brand new coming out. I didn't have that experience here. I feel like the lady who massaged me had no experience in her job. While my entire party was enjoying their deep tissue/painful/ bone crushing massage, I felt like the lady was lazy and put no effort into mine. Don't get me wrong, she's was nice. She didn't speak much English also. At one point she went to use the restroom so I was waiting for a few minutes. Not only that, while she softly massaged my head with one hand, she used her other hand to check her phone. She used hot stones at one point to massage my back. It was SCORCHING hot!!!! I never had hot stones on my back so I thought it was the technique or something. It burned like a thousand suns and I'm surprised I didn't have a 3rd degree burn. Another one of the ladies who massaged my husband, commented on how muscular his chest felt. (I was sitting 5 seats away from him) My entire party felt sore after their massage. Everything started off so well...my two sisters and I wanted to treat ourselves (something we don't do often due to monetary reasons) So we called and had a same day appointment for a 90min (30foot,60full body) which was super convenient. Arrived were greeted and had temp checks and were given hand sanitizer and taken back to private room. We each had slightly different massage experiences, mine was pretty good. I had a woman and not knowing what to fully expect I was pleasantly surprised with the amount of pressure she applied for a Swedish massage. (My sisters had men and don't like the pressure, so as you can imagine they felt their massage was a bit rough) We all agree the foot portion was great. So we wrap up and head back to the lobby to pay. There is a sign posted on the front desk with a gratuity guide ($10=happy, $15.00=very happy, $20=super happy) I was happy (and on a budget) so I tipped $10. So here is where the experience went LEFT! I asked for $10 change from a $20 and she acted ungrateful like she was confused why I was asking for change (I'm thinking this let's you know I'm tipping $10 which according to this sign we should all be happy right now)! 1st sister comes out next and has the same experience. 2nd sister comes out and heads to the door. Let's talk about customs. I have been to Asian massage businesses before and know they are pressed for a tip. At prior experiences $10tip and the people seemed happy, thank you, smile etc. Sister #2 comes out happy and wants to tip $10. Sister #3 is not particularly happy with complete massage and understands that tip is not MANDATORY and is simply custom if satisfied. A man cashier/maybe manager not sure, approached front desk and asks why she is not tipping! (Ok so at this point I am fresh out a massage slumber ready to get the fck on with my day and outta there) I reach for the door when he starts talking and it's locked, it caught me off guard and because I was trying to avoid him blowing my mood (which he did). So she turns around and gives the rest of the cash she had $6 and puts it on the desk. He's like "That's it?" Sis #2 gives $4 more to make the 10. He then asks us to let him explain how their service supplied at their business is not the same as a restaurant. That they have one person assigned to you and they work hard, the tip should be larger for that reason. So he continues to get at us and ask if we were unhappy. We really ain't trying to engage and he is. I finally think to unlock the door and we end up just walking out. Listen PSA to business owners. Think about your complete customer demographic. If the cost of your service does not allow your staff to be happy, then you should re-asses your price point. There is no need to rely on tip. OR make your tip % mandatory so that your customer who needs all the customs known upfront can prepare and you don't have to harass your guest. 75 minutes for $38 is a deal! Every year we go to Las Vegas for my cousin's birthday and we have made it a tradition to go to a massage. A couple of years ago we found the Rainbow foot spa and the deal of 75 minutes for $38 seems to be available and well worth the money. There are 4 of us and we try to make appointments but they can accommodate on short notice. Wear loose clothing and I don't wear make-up hair product or jewerly. It starts with a foot soak and ends with hot stones. In between, the neck, arms, head, face, shoulder, leg and feet are massaged. My sinuses cleared and sore points I did not realize existed were worked upon. The massage was welcomed and I can't wait until next time. read more
