I have lived in the Sacramento area for 50 years and never been to Rainbow Glass... in business for the same number of years. If you like painted pottery, paint nights, or other instructed art type activities you will love Rainbow Glass! My adopted mom asked for gift cards as she wanted to start taking classes and there were some Groupons available we had a group of about 10 go last night to make a basket weave design. The hardest task picking out your 14 colors you want. The instructors are patient and kind. They allowed us to bring some snacks and drinks as well. I was the pokey one and last one to finish but never felt rushed. I have included a photo of my prepped basket weave that will be fired, melted and shaped into a bowl.

What an unexpected gem! The owners and staff are passionate about the craft and love to teach and let you experience all the beauty that is art glass. You can tell it's a family business with a long history and a joy for what they do. I plan to have a birthday party here in the future!

I am so excited I found this place. They have classes where you could make stained glass and I was talking with one of the owners about watercolor classes where they teach you how to paint on glass. They have a whole bunch of little extra rock items and jewelry. This is a very cool little funky place with a friendly neighborhood vibe.

I bought a Groupon and took a friend. Location was easy to get to from Vacaville. Easy off freeway and parking in front. MUST WEAR A MASK Class was setup with plexiglass stations and all tools needed including goggles. WEAR CLOSED TOE SHOES and will make sense to you. Cathy instructor was very down to earth with great personality. She explained each step and helped as much as you needed. You do not need special skills. You need patience and let the inner child come out and design something great. The owners/mgrs/head chicks are so nice. Good vibe place and you feel welcome. Maybe a new addiction

So much fun! My friend and I purchased a deal on Groupon for a class. We made glass flowers. It was very fun and easier than I thought. I will definitely be back to do more projects!

I have an old stained glass panel my friend made for me ages ago, and the lead strip on top was coming apart, so it wasn't safe to hang any more. They fixed it for me, put new ring-hanger-things (don't know what to call them, LOL) on it, and did a great job! It's a cool shop with tons of sparkly things to look at! Everyone was very cool and friendly too.

We have done many things together & taking a glass blowing class at rainbow glass is at the top of the list! The instructors & Phillip the owner were a true joy to be around.I got this for my wife's birthday gift & she loved it. We will be doing this again.

This place is so much fun! Great for the family or dates! We've done glassblowing, fused glass and stained glass! We have also participated in kids camp! My kids love it! The sassy staff is great too! :)-

Took a class here, was great! The owner was very personable and obviously loved her work and her studio. Would take another class again.

They have a wonderful selection--everything from canvases to clay supplies and of course painting supplies. Today we picked up new oil pastels on a great deal of $2.49 each if you buy 6 or more. We also selected some of their value packs of canvases (although they also sell individual canvases) and a wide variety of paints. Something I love about this store is that several times a year, they select a nonprofit to run a donation drive for. You can buy items they put on a shelf for the nonprofit and the items go directly to that agency. It is so nice to see stores organizing for the community!

Blick is perfect for all your artsy fartsy needs from students to an at home project. The staff are always friendly and knowledgeable. They do an excellent job of checking in to see if you need guidance or have questions. Which helps my social anxiety tbh. I'm in my 30s and I still get shy to ask for help and just kinda freeze and hope I can google my question ‍ For my a watercolor class I needed various brushes and I love the bulk discount they offer, so that helps with budgeting. Things are pricey depending what you're looking for, but the quality is worth it. I've been here several times since my first visit and it's absolutely worth the drive everytime.
