I went to this place because they were open early enough for me to go before work, I got helped by a lady who rushed my nails did a horrible job at shaping my nails and did not take her time to properly buff my nails leaving my acrylics jagged and uneven. I was than pasted on to a man who was to paint my nails. He was nice started a conversation but his work was not worth the money I am missing color on sides of my nails and he did not even bother to clean up around my nails. Came here on a Sunday and was kind of reluctant because of the current reviews. But it was the closest shop and only one open, so I took the risk. I got a full set acrylic and pedicure. My boothang got a pedi too. They were nice and the service was surprisingly fast. I was worried that my acrylic nail job would be bad because of how fast it was but I love it! I had my eyelashes put on last week. I received the individuals as opposed to the strip. Before she put on my lashes I asked her if she could place them on because I have a little bit of my real eyelashes on my left eye. I asked her twice before she put them on; I was told yes, she could do the individuals. She completed the right eye first, which was perfect; had a nice curve and all. Once she completed the left eye, it felt heavy and uncomfortable, as if something was in my eye. I told her this and she said, "it's ok". To make a long story short, the entire lash on my left eye came off a couple of days later. Even though she put on individuals, the lash came completely off, as if it were a strip. Upon my return, I went to the shop to show her what happened and asked if she could fix it. She looked at the lash and said no, she can't fix it and continued to tell me it would be $10.00 to put on another lash. I told her I wasn't paying $10.00 and could she glue the lash I had on; she said no. The lash was in good condition. Of course she would say no in order for her to get more money. Obviously, they don't stand behind their services. It saddens me that this happened because I have been going to this shop for the past 6 years and never had this happen. Five years ago, I went in for strips and they lasted longer than the individual...so sad.....I will never return to this shop for anything, ever again!! read more

I went here last minute on the Saturday before Christmas because they had no clients (which should've been a clue when all other shops were packed) I got a full set and a pedicure. The full set was the worst set I have ever had. They were supposed to be coffin shape and they were very misshapen. The lady who did my nails didn't even clean the acrylic of my cuticles and as they grew out I had huge ugly edges on them. The acrylic was very uneven. A very sloppy ugly set of nails, I had to go elsewhere and get them fixed. The pedicure was ok and the polish job could've been done better by a child. I will not be returning or referring anyone to this nail shop. I will say, the staff was friendly. 1 star is for staff. 0 stars for the work. read more

I have been going to Rainbow Nails off and on for the past 2 years since its close to my home. Its a hit or miss on thier customer service and the quality of work but I stayed loyal until the experience I had this Saturday. The owner Christine was very rude. First, I always make an appointment. She accused me of not making an appointment and I told her that I did make an appointment and that I spoke with her. She said that I made a mistake. With feet in water they then start pumping up the prices with add-ons for services normally included in most mani/pedi packages such as buffing which all of a sudden costs $5 more. Would give a ZERO! Will never be back there again. Stay away. They are not working to please their customers. Treated my daughter and myself to a manicure/pedicure. I only did gel on my nails. Inside the nails looked fine. Once we went outside the nails looked horrible! My daughter had to use the restroom so I took her home and called right away. They were busy when I left so they said 4 would be a good time to go back. Went back told them toes and nail color didn't match, told them may nails were super thick and had lumps you could see them and fee them. And some needed another coat. So easiest way for me to fix was to just settle for no gel on my nails because clearly she has a problem working with gel. So I asked for my money back that I paid extra for gel. And she told me no. So I asked the other lady I said I paid for gel I'm leaving without gel. And she said no as well. Saying that they should have charged me to fix. And why didn't I say anything while I was there. And I told her my situation and she still said no and I told her obviously you should want to make your customer happy! Lady should haven't f*€%£k my nails up in the first place. I went in this morning at 9am only Christine was there. She was doing a eyebrow wax when I got in, I was next. 20min after waiting 3 other people come in two for a fill one for a eyebrow wax. After waiting Christine asks me to wait longer!!! She took the eyebrow lady, the eyebrow lady asks me do I mind. I said while I guess I have no choice I've been waiting since 9. She finally takes me after waiting. Starts my fill the other two ladies are still waiting! Christine claims she has 3 employees coming in who are late. The other two end up leaving after waiting over 30min. I was charged 25 her sign says 17. I asked her what the extra charges were for she says because they charge to REMOVE AND TO PAINT MY NAILS!!!!!!! Just make sure if you wants a specific design to say what you want beforehand. There are lots of cute designs to choose from. They sell slip on shoes here that are really cute, facials, eyelash extensions, and also have a lady that does massage on Sundays. I'm sorry but I dont agree with the bad reviews that were written about this nail salon. I have been going here since they opened ten years ago, and I have had no issues. I usually go to Ann, who is the sweetest person, and knows her stuff, but today the shops owner Christine did my nails. She took her time and they came out great as always. As I sat there I thought about the bad reviews saying the place was dirty, couldn't be more far from the truth. The carpet looks new and was well vacuumed, all the spa chairs are new and the booths tidy, so I don't know which salon they are talking about. read more

My wife had her eyelashes done and was charged $35.00 which is more than most salons. When she went for fill was charged $25.00 and 3 days later eyelashes were coming off. Had them removed was charged $10.00. All this in 2 weeks. She will go back to her old spa. Also I had a pedicure and tech cut my big toe causing an infection.
