Me my mother and my husband went in around 1230 and instantly got seen. They were friendly helped us get the best pedicures for what we wanted!! They were amazing, and their massages were to die for! Staff was very nice but she only did light coats of the gel polish so you can still see through a bit definitely a little blotchy. They still look nice but I'm worried it's going to peel since they're thin coats. Also I didn't see them using clean clippers and such. I'm used to places opening up new packages of utensils in front of me but these ones were out in the open so I don't know if they were sterilized or not. Worries me a bit. They just need to be a little more clean. read more

My mom and I have been searching for a good nail salon for a few months and give each place two chances. We found our place at rainbow nails. They were just closing up on a Thursday night and when we walked in they got right to work. They gave us time to decide on our colors and designs. They did a great job filing and getting the previous mess I was left with in order and the new acrylic that was added looked like my real nails it was so perfect. Instead of using one of their designs I brought in a photo I found on Pinterest and they matched it perfectly. My mom ended up totally changing her mind and got the gel mood color and she's obsessed with it. They had patients with two very indecisive people very close to closing time and we are very happy customers that will definitely be returning. Pricing was on point and they offer free parafin wax as well as a punchcard and after the tenth punch you get a free service. I can't wait to use it on a nice pedicure. read more

Amazing! Best pedicure I've ever had!!! Ladies were so nice. We were visiting from upstate NY early last Fall and decided to go for pedicures. My husband and I were shocked at the wonderful service and full out pedicures including paraffin wax. We are about three hours away and still talk about going back!!! This place! On Saturday evening I sent them a Facebook message asking if they were open on Sunday. The response was within the hour and positive. My party of two arrived mid-afternoon on Sunday and were seated right away for our pedicures. For $30 you get a relaxing soak, massaged calves, paraffin (for your feet!), lots of moisturizer, a thorough clipping, brushing and cleaning of nails, exfoliation for the rough areas, polish and a great neck and upper back massage. We opted to have our big toes painted with flowers (selected from a broad menu of options and $5 extra). We had a wonderful experience - the ladies work as a team and are very friendly and professional. We left them $10 tips because it was such a great and thorough experience. read more

I went back here as my regular place was closed and this was close by. I am SO GLAD that I did. My first visit was when they were fairly new, so I will chalk it up to growing pains and say that this place has changed completely for the better. My experience could not be any more different than my first one. Service is good and I did not encounter any of the same problems. While I pay slightly more than I did at my old haunt, they include a mini shoulder massage as well, which is so worth it. Great selection of polishes. Lasted exactly the amount of time that I would expect a gel manicure to last. read more

Three days into my gel nail manicure and pedicure they are already starting to chip... after 85 dollars I was hoping it would be worth it. They were very nice and I didn't wait at all which was nice, they also give you a nice back massage when you're waiting for your nails to dry! I'm not sure I'll be back to see them though, I am just not happy with the way they are holding up. read more

Okay so I'd went in early October. Originally was very pleased with my fabulous bright pink nails for my senior homecoming. Then the back of my nail began to chip no biggie I applied more top coat at home which I have plenty of because I model. So I wasn't to worried they were highly complimented and everyone loved them. I would recommend. They are friendly and professional and most of all sanitary. This was my first time ever getting my nails professionally done. I was very excited. Brought my cousin too and she loved it! Haven't been back since but they are so nice and friendly. And the work is out of this world. read more

I would give this place zero starts if I could. I came today to get a gel manicure. She cut my nails down and then began to file them down and it hurt, alot. She then cut down my cuticles and 5 of my nails immediately started gushing blood. In a frantic attempt to stop the blood she put nail polish remover on them while i said "owww" multiple times. She just said sorry and continued to do so. At this point I thought about getting up and walking out but decided to give her a chance. The nails continued to bleed the entire appointment. Once done I said to her I refuse to pay 35 dollars for this. I come here to have a relaxing nail day and I am left with bloody, stinging fingers. She told me that she would not give me the discount. I showed her my fingers and asked if she thinks that it is professional to not give me a discount when all of my fingers are covered in dried clots of blood and SHE SAID YES SHE THINKS I SHOULD PAY FULL PRICE. And then I asked if she was the owner and if not can we call the owner and she said "we are NOT going to call the owner, I know what I am doing and I can handle this place myself!!" I stood there in shock and I told her I am not paying full price for this and told her it was completely unprofessional for her to act this way towards a paying customer. And then she said to me "where you from" and I told her I live in mystic.. she goes " why do you come out this far to get your nails done anyway?" After standing there going back and forth with her for at least 5 minutes she let me pay only 25 and I handed her two 20 dollar bills and asked for my change and she practically threw my change back at me. I took my change and said thank you while she whispered under her breath in Chinese and now I am sitting here writing this review. DO NOT GO HERE. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. THE STAFF IS VERY RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL AND THE QUALITY OF THEIR WORK IS HORRIBLE. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO ELSEWHERE. I can't believe what I just went through.... read more

Rainbow Nails was an awesome experience!! We are staying near by and wanted an alternative to the Foxwoods spa. This was a special girls weekend as my friend is getting married and they really made the experience special. There were three of us which they accommodated easily. The staff was nice and pleasant to be around, the price was lower than a few other places, but I'm not happy with the quality of work. I got a full set of pink & whites along with a French pedicure on Saturday (9-3-16). The pedicure felt great! I loved the massage & my nails after everything was done, but after a day the polish on my toes started chipping off. The next day I noticed my nails already look like they need to be filled. I don't get my nails don't often, but I should need a fill after 2-3 days. So now 7 days later, they look like they need to be filled even more & I don't want to go back again. I just wanted to feel nice & get a little pampered for the wedding I was preparing for. So I guess next time I'll just opt for the more expensive place, I got what I paid for :-(. read more
