I called that morning and got an appointment same day. I had a screenshot of what I wanted. I started off with Christine, who prepped my nails and then switched to Michael, who brought my picture to life. ( I didn't mind the switch, I had booked last minute and was just happy that they were able to accommodate me). My nails were pricey, just over $70 after a 20% tip. I must've got hit with some "extras", but I didn't ask beforehand what it would cost, so not going to ding them for that! Here I am three weeks out, no lifting or chipping. Not quite as shiney as day one, but they held up incredibly well! I definitely enjoyed the massage and the place was well kept. I'll definitely be back, but plan to ask prices beforehand this time. The first two pictures are the day I got them done and the last two are today (3 weeks out).

I have been here with friends and family multiple times, but today is an experience I won't forget…read more All I asked for was a gel manicure. I even brought a photo. I walked in with my own healthy, square long nails. No acrylic, no tips, my nails. The woman even commented on what nice healthy nails I had. Then she commended cutting them all off. All I needed was a change of color. I started shaking as soon as she cut the first nail off. I literally cried that it was too short. She said she was sorry and then said she had to even them out. She still painted the design I originally wanted, even though there was barely a nail left to paint it on. The worst part of all is the nails aren't even the same the length as each other, there's polish on my fingers and it will take months for them to grow back. It was truly awful.

The person who was doing my nails was so rough and seemed like she didn't know what she was doing. She cut my skin so many times and my cuticles started to bleed. SHE NEVER EVEN APOLOGIZED. After I told her to stop Becs my fingers were hurting so bad from all the cuts she gave me, I told her I just wanted her to take it off. She then called over the owner I assum and she asked me if I ever got my nails done before and I said yes but I haven't gotten it done for around 8 months since I've moved to Connecticut and I've NEVER had my hands hurt like this to the point where I'm SHAKING. She goes on to say I'm just very tender handed and that they've been doing this for over 10 years and they also stated that they've cut their clients before some people can handle it and some people can't. (NOTE IF YOU WORK FOR OVER 10 YEARS DOING NAILS AND YOU STILL CUT YOUR CLIENTS, YOU SHOULDNT BE DOING NAILS PERIOD!) I asked if I can come back next time with someone I previously wanted to go to becs I liked her work but then THAT GIRL states she works just the same and she might cut me too so at that point I wanted to just get out. They kept saying things under their breath about me in Spanish as well and I told the girl just leave it I'll fix it myself and walked out. As I walked out they made a smart ass remark and said have a good weekend knowing damn well I was crying becs of how mean they were. Bunch of bullies who treated me like I've never done my nails before. I've worked at a nail salon for a year and THIS HAS NEVER HAPPENED TO A CLIENT BEFORE. I struggled to figure out exactly what could have bumped this to five stars, and while I couldn't put my finger on anything specific, I also couldn't get there.
