I absolutely love this place. I called before hand and the owner is super nice. I really like the ambiance . The owner is really helpful and has owned the sho cone place for years .I ordered the orange creme and orange and pineapple with vanilla ice cream . It was so yummy . I genuinely missed this place. It was nice and refreshing . I feel like especially with the FL heat you can never go wrong with a sno cone. I thought the flavors of the sno cone paired well with the creaminess of the ice cream. It's definitely worth trying out.

This no frills local mom and pop shop has been in business for 29 years. We got an extra large tiger blood flavor and a small cotton candy flavor. The sno-cones were good and the price was reasonable. The sno-cones were served in Styrofoam cups with plastic spoons. The Styrofoam which may work well with the ice but it is bad for the environment.

Small mom and pop snow cone shop. Never fails to quench my thirst and sugar cravings! The owner is always such an enjoyable person. He always caters to his customers. He will throw balls of ice at me ever since I always a kid and even now that I'm an adult. If nostalgia was a place. This is it for me. Always suggest people come here and try a few flavors! About to cater a large chest for a pool party tmr!

I love this place and their old-time 1990's feel! Their snow cones are perfect, and just the right ratio of sugary-syrup and ice. I purchased a Groupon and got a ticket for 5 sno-cones - a great deal, and a nice treat on a warm day. Definitely better for you than the donuts next door. I do worry that this shop gets overlooked in the shopping center, but they have sooo many flavors! Even though I will be 34, I want to serve this at my next birthday party! They have a cooler that you can rent with ice and flavors for parties.

I was so excited to see that there was a snowcone shop locally when I was looking on Groupon. I grew up near New Orleans and there's not much better on a hot day than a snowcone! The owner is nice and friendly, which is always a plus. They have fun toppings like sprinkles, sour spray, and condensed milk. The shop was easy to find, clean, and had the cup sizes displayed with prices for experience. You can get a cone for about $3 depending on what flavor you pick and if you want a topping. My favorite flavor was chocolate topped with condensed milk, but I tried the buttered beer flavor and it was DELICIOUS!! Some snow cones have chunky ice that doesn't hold the flavor, but this place has a perfect ice machine that shaves the ice finely so it soaks up the flavor and melts smoothly. They also have ice cream so you can get a snowcone with a layer of ice cream in the middle! I haven't tried it yet, but it sounds delicious. If you're in the area and looking for a good priced, sweet treat stop by here!

A little piece of Hawaii in Orlando! The snow cone ice is nice and soft and fluffy. Reasonably priced for a storefront shop. I'm also a fan of condensed milk on my snow-cone, which is only an additional $0.50. Definitely love supporting local businesses. Great treat for a hot Florida day!

Sno-cones are such a simple concoction, it is almost unbelievable and unimaginable that they could muster a 5 star rating. But they do! I stopped with the family, knowing that most sno-cone shops have walls and walls of flavors. To be able to try the many flavors here, you need to bring two baseball teams. My family and I, we could not manage it all and just ordered away. There are many many flavors, with lots of flavors original to the place, like Bahama Mama, Superman, Batman, Polar Punch, Piña Colada, etc. We had orange/grape, Batman/Polar Punch, and Piña Colada with condensed milk. All these were really good, specially the Piña Colada with condensed milk. I know it's done, and I still don't believe it, but I did order it and it happened. Anyway, these are really good sno-cones, maybe not a travel destination, but maybe yes. It is a really good place to stop by if you are in the area. At least that's what I thought. Really nice people too. And playful. They really good with kids.

Finally got to hit up this joint with the wife yesterday an man this is our new desert spot

Glad we found this little Jem tucked away in a small plaza on hollow branch road excellent shaved ice especially when you get it with the condensed milk on the ice two thumbs up for the service

It's a small ice cream shop located on the main strip of Colonial Drive. The bright lit sign stands out from afar. It was busy with people inside and outside of the shop. There's scoop options and sundae floats. We got the mini floats of the Halo Halo and a Mango Sticky rice. Both were so good and refreshing. We didn't think it was overly sweet for dessert. In fact, we took the team's suggestion and had vegan ube ice cream. We've tried vegan ice cream in the past and it was not good. This was actually good for vegan ice cream option. We normally share when it comes to desserts like this, but we finished our own. Recommend this dessert spot if you're in town or nearby! Seating is limited since it is a small place.

Both were delicious but the UBE stood out for me. This time it was not as packed and warm temp like it can be at times here. Ordered the Maiko Parfait in Ube : soft-serve with mochi balls, Japanese chestnut, adzuki red beans, sponge cake, corn flake, & agar jelly for $9ish. It was a delicious creamy not too sweet ube soft serve that had a delicious taste of ube. It was bright purple with the yummy-ness of this creamy ube flavor not the flavor im used to in filipino version ice creams. It had the mochi balls and chesnut - Corn flakes, Matcha sponge cake - Red beans, and jelly. I love this dessert. The interesting part of this soft serve - It was slow to melt! It was sturdy enough that when you take your time and enjoy it - It does not melt so fast unlike other soft serves. Would def come back again and get UBE!

Matcha Cafe Maiko is a specialty matcha café focused entirely around Japanese-style matcha desserts…read moreand drinks. We walked into a cute and welcoming space with a menu built around showcasing matcha in different forms rather than treating it as just another flavor option. The atmosphere is cozy and fits the theme well, though seating is limited and it can get crowded during busy times, making it better suited for a quick dessert stop or grabbing a drink to enjoy nearby rather than settling in for a long visit. The main reason to visit is the matcha soft serve and dessert selection. The matcha flavor is noticeably rich and earthy, with a stronger tea profile compared to many sweeter matcha desserts. The soft serve has a smooth, creamy texture and works especially well in combinations like matcha shaved ice, floats, or parfait-style creations. The matcha shaved ice stands out with layers of shaved ice, matcha soft serve, red bean, mochi, and Japanese chestnuts, creating a dessert that has different textures in every bite. The combination of the creamy soft serve with the chewy mochi and the slight bitterness of the matcha creates a balanced dessert that does not rely solely on sugar for flavor. The drink menu gives plenty of ways to experience matcha, from hot and iced matcha drinks to floats and specialty creations. Options like matcha with ube, matcha lattes with foam, and hojicha drinks add variety for anyone who wants something beyond traditional matcha. The café also offers coffee options, which makes it easier for groups with different preferences to find something they enjoy. The matcha lattes are well balanced, with the earthy notes of the tea coming through clearly without being masked by milk or sweetness. Beyond matcha, the menu includes other Japanese-inspired desserts like taiyaki, mochi-based items, and seasonal offerings. The combination of traditional flavors and playful presentations makes the café feel like a dessert destination rather than just a drink shop. The desserts are also visually appealing, with the kind of presentation that makes them worth taking a photo before digging in. The taiyaki are crisp on the outside and filled with a sweet red bean paste that contrasts nicely with the cold soft serve. Service is friendly and helps keep the experience smooth even when the café is busy. The staff are knowledgeable about the menu and make it easy to choose between the many matcha options, offering clear descriptions of the flavor profiles and texture differences between the soft serve, shaved ice, and latte options. Because the café has a strong focus on quality matcha and specialty desserts, it can get popular during peak hours, so visiting outside the busiest times may make it easier to find seating and take your time with the menu. Matcha Cafe Maiko is a great spot for anyone who enjoys matcha or wants to try Japanese-style matcha desserts. The combination of rich matcha flavor, creative menu options, and a cozy café atmosphere makes it stand out from typical dessert shops. It feels like a place worth visiting when you want a matcha experience that goes beyond a basic latte, offering a dessert that feels both authentic and indulgent without being overly sweet.
