Really fun restaurant to go to, especially if you have kiddos. My parents took me here plenty of times when I was kid, so had to continue the tradition and take my family here. The food is very average, but you're paying for the experience-thunderstorms included! There's lot of different animals to see around the restaurant, but if it's super busy it is hard to walk around and see everything. Service was ok and definitely could have been a lot better. We did wait awhile for our food to come out, but the restaurant was very busy at the time. I would definitely advise you make reservations in advance instead of just waking in because I've been here before as a walk in and the wait is usually 2+ hours. Earlier today (Saturday, September 27, 2025), my family and I went to this restaurant for dinner. One of my family members wanted the Chimi-Cha-Chas by itself, but was told by our server, " Liz" that we have to be a member to get it. I had the TROPICAL SALMON & COCONUT SHRIMP. The salmon was good, but the coconut was a little sweet. The ambience, as usual, dark with the sounds of thunder and the wild animatronics. Overall, I paid for the very expensive "Ok" food and the rainforest experience. read more

Lovely experience at Rainforest. We took a group of our youth there on a trip to the Great Wolf Lodge. We all had an incredible time and enjoyed our dining experience. Awesomely, they offer the vegan Beyond Burger. My wife and I really enjoyed it! We had: -Fries -Veggies (No butter) -Beyond Burgers - no cheese or mayo. We asked for no butter on the buns, unsure if they use butter or oil, but to be safe. We asked for the Burger to be vegan, and the waitress was incredibly helpful. If you haven't been to Rainforest, the experience goes beyond the table! Their live-action forest, animals, sounds are so fun! It's like going to a theme park for lunch & dinner! Escape the normal dining experience for one that will bring you right to the safari waiting to see which animal comes to life next or waiting to see if you will feel the raindrops during the simulated thunderstorm! My daughter and I had a few minutes to grab lunch between games and thought we should embark on an expedition. We had a blast with delicious food, drinks and ambiance. You are paying for the experience and theme more than the food itself but I enjoyed the blackened fish tacos very much. The portions were not large but it was flavorful. My daughter ordered off the kids menu which had many of the regular child friendly options. We also ordered a cool non alcoholic themed drink in a souvenir glass. In all it was a great afternoon "get away" without having to go very far. read more

Let me start by saying that we used to love this place. It was a tradition with my nephew. Now, even when the have plenty of open seating, you have to Either have a reservation (impossible to get online) or do a waitlist anywhere from 1 to 3 hours. The place remains the same as previous years, plenty of seating for big or small parties. The menu has all the typical plates steak, chicken, pasta, salads, and they have a kids menu. Service was a bit let down, although food came out fast, they seemed to be short staffed. We had to wait for our check for about 20 min. The food it's OK, it was tasty and good portioned. We will still try the one in Orlando!, and I will keep you posted. read more

We ordered two kids meals , one flat bread and the salmon with rice and kale. The rice in the salmon was almost raw , server said she d ask the kitchen but never got back with any answer , the flat bread was pretty good though. The server was kind but not so attentive . Haven't been here since our kids were little and brought our grandson. He was very underwhelmed and unimpressed at 3 years old. The food is crap for a very expensive price. Our waiter was good, until he brought desert chopper up syrupy strawberries instead of fresh strawberries to us. Other than and that may be all they had, he served well. Hostess was super rude. Waited for more than 40 minutes at a table. No service. Started to leave with 2 small children who had waited more than an hour between waiting for a seat and then waiting for service when we finally got someone to notice we were just sitting there for a while. I should have left, but the server we got made me want to give a second chance. I was WRONG!!! Our waitress was good but the food and other staff just sucked. Steak and shrimp. Steak was well done and inedible and shrimp was mushy. The photo is what I left there after attempting to eat this vile grub. The ambiance was drab, dark and our experience just overall sucked. Would Highly NOT recommend coming here. Simply wanted to change my order. Timothy the Manager on Duty did not apologize for any inconvenience. Everyone at the table finished their meals BEFORE 1 burger was done cooking. The server Daniella was rolling her eyes, giving disrespectful looks and talking with the hostess at the stand. As a 25 year old ag teacher, I had never been to Rainforest Cafe, but I decided to take my FFA kids during our State Convention since I'd heard it was a great experience. However, that was not my experience. From the minute we sat down our server was rude to us. She first popped off and stated that she wouldn't break our bill into ten separate orders. I was confused as I'd made reservations for 10 so the staff already knew we had a large party. Then she wouldn't let the kids order off of the kids menu, a problem we'd not encountered anywhere our entire trip. So because of this information, we decided to share meals. When she came back later to take our orders, we told her we were sharing with each other to which she seemed surprised since she was all of the sudden willing to push a few extra buttons to make it easier on us. Overall, the drinks were really overpriced, the food was bland, and the waitress was the worst I've ever had. I understand people can have bad days, but there's no reason to ruin the experience of a group of kids who were nothing but respectful. If you are considering going to this Rainforest Cafe, I wouldn't waste your time. read more

We waited for 1520 minutes for my boyfriend to get the anaconda pasta with no pasta only vegetables. When asking for pasta we expect pasta to be in the dish. To add to that are table was not clean when we sat down. read more

Yes, 4-stars! I'm like an adult child that loves color, animation, and most of all, to see the excitement in my child's eyes when she sees these rainforest animals come to life! For me...it was all the above...the food and service was great too, ya'll. I ordered the Korean Spicey stir fried chicken with crispy wontons, mandarin oranges, peppers and steamed rice. It was absolutely delicious! It was just the right amount of spicyness and tangyness that made it so perfect. Just thinking about it makes me want to go back for more! Kids meal was perfect size. Mac and cheese, grapes/oranges...snooze. I gave my other daughter "the hand" when she ordered some type of salad. I mean, boring salad? It wasn't even a specialty salad. Nice experience. Good food. We came here because I always wanted to know why the line is always so long and busy when I was a child. There is a spot where you can reserve your place in line The waits was 2 hours and 30 minutes and we reserved our spot at around noon as we wanted somewhere to eat after my play. So my wife gets at text at around 2:30pm saying our table is ready and we have 10 minutes to go and check in. So you follow the dinosaur tracks and wait to get checked in. The atmosphere is nice and that is what you go for. Every 20 to 30 minutes there is a rain fall and all the animals act up. You get to see the animal tronics like the elephant and lion. We were seated next to the fish tank which was nice. Bathrooms I thought it would be nicer, but it ended up being really dirty and disgusting. Food prices were overpriced, but you are playing for the experience. I ordered the Chinese Island Chicken Salad which was around $20 dollars and my wife order the pasta which had marina and seafood with some spice in it. I enjoyed my salad a lot even though it was overpriced as I loved the dressing. Service was good, I ended up giving them a 20% tip as they did their best when everything was busy. Overall, it was an okay experience, but I think we are going to eat somewhere a little bit more cheaper. read more

We went with family to celebrate my grandson's 6th birthday. Our server right off acted annoyed and not thrilled to serve us. She made snide marks and had bed attitude. We had made reservations weeks before and they knew it was for birthday. The women's bathroom was disgusting! Toilet paper all over floor--a blocked gross sink filled with your clay water--overflowing trash cans--no paper towels--broken hand dryer!!! After an 1 hour and 15 min with no communication from our server, I asked to speak to a manger and no one came. I asked again and walked around until I found someone that looked like maybe a manger. She said she thought our food was coming out and it was. The food was good and hot so we were thankful for that. Then we waited again forever before we got our bill and we asked about if they would sing happy birthday. The waitress was again annoyed--acting like it was the worst thing ever to have to celebrate a 6 year old. My husband spoke to a different manager and he was extremely rude at first and said the appetizer we ordered (the one with fried egg roll, spinach dip, etc takes 45 mins to make. Why would something that takes 45 min be on the appetizer menu??? He was very unsympathetic. We understand on a Saturday night it can take awhile, but you need to be communicated with so you know you haven't been forgotten and treated by server and mangers like you're a bother. Not a good experience, which is sad bc we enjoyed taking our kids when they were young, and it was a great memory! Sadly,this location is dirty and poorly managed. read more

The rainforest cafe is an outdated, dust trap with microwaved entrees and overpriced drinks. My kids and their friends LOVE this restaurant. And they ask to come here all the time. While there's always a 2-3 hour wait, I simply don't understand how there can be so many empty tables and plenty of staff chit-chatting. Something isn't right here and the discrimination isn't hidden. For whatever reason, bartender Justin, would not serve me. On two separate occasions! He then proceeded to have the other bartender to refuse service. Not sure what I did, if it's simply because I'm a Hispanic woman or what. I was left sitting at the bar with no service. read more

OK, so 9 of us dined at RFC today - arriving about 12:45pm and after an hour wait. Zachary approached our table quickly after being seated and took our drink order and asked about appetizers. We could tell that they were short-handed, as many restaurants are currently. Zachary was very knowledgeable, polite, consolidated his service in an effort to take care of us and other tables he had nearby. We ordered a little of everything from a large option of choices on the menu. EVERYTHING we ate was on point, very hot, fresh, tasty and well presented. Was it a little longer than we had wanted it to be - sure ... but that wasn't due to a lack of teamwork or trying on the part of the RFC folks. All appeared to be working together to service the long line of customers which had chosen to dine with them today. Very impressed with the food and the service today - wish we lived closer, as we might drop by more than once or so per year. Also - make sure you join the Landry Select Club, if you are not already a member. We had a $25 credit for a birthday we utilized and they have a shorter line for members as well. read more

Diana made our experience with our 7 mo old grandson entertaining and amazing! He loved the animal sounds and thunderstorms . The food was good - recommend the corn chowder and burger - but come for the ambience. Our server was good. She was kind and good at her job. She wasn't overly awesome. But we weren't disappointed by any means. The food runner was hilarious. He was tall, bald and funny... his personality shown through and he made jokes while he passed out food. His interaction with us was approximately 41 seconds long but he was memorable. We enjoyed most of our drinks (although the ice water didn't taste good) as well as the Korean fried chicken lettuce wraps and the bourbon street salmon and coconut shrimp. The kids meal was a bit meh. The kids may not eat as it can be a bit of a sensory overload with the "rainstorm", animatronic animals (and the number of people in the restaurant) to a highly observant child. Although those are the best parts. I think there could be an improvement in the gift store. There seemed to be limited clothing available to purchase for souvenirs compared to other Rainforest Cafes visited in the past. The store seemed mostly set up for build a bear. Our drinks tasted like dirt, literally. I think their soda machine is in need of a serious cleaning. Our appetizer came out in about 90 seconds and was luke warm. Our food took about an hour to come out and was fine-no complaints, other than my burger being way under cooked on one side. The atmosphere is nice, but the animals are all pretty dusty and make loud clicky noises as they move. My kids loved it all (except the drinks). read more

Going to MeowWolf? Do yourself a favor and don't include Rainforest Cafe in your plans. From crazy long waits despite many empty tables, to being served drinks that taste nothing like they should, to very poor food quality, it will be a disappointment. This place is understaffed by high schoolers who were poorly trained-- my husband ended up waiting 10 minutes for a steak knife only to still have to saw through a small overcooked steak... even at the bar, another couple waited 20 minutes for chips and salsa! I sent back my shrimp/chicken pasta after two bites (one that included a full shrimp shell). Just say NO. read more
