I ordered chips and queso, a brisket quesadilla, and a frozen strawberry margarita. The queso for the chips was subpar. To me, it was worse than the queso you get at the store. It lacked a punch, flavor-wise. The brisket quesadilla was just average. Thai wasn't high-quality brisket. It was just average flavor-wise. We have come here many times for an ice cold beer and some snacks, as well as for the friendly bar service. The food is solidly consistent and delicious. My wife and I stopped in for a quick burger and fries. We have dined here for 10 years but seems the quality of food is dropping. We both had the fries and we asked not to burn them. However, when they were served, the fries were almost burned. We have had this problem before but the cook never seems to get it. Burgers were very soggy on the bottom. I am really not a proponent of leaving negative reviews, but here goes. I live in Coppell and wanted to try something new that I've never done before. So, i hit up this spot in Grapevine, feeling pretty good about it. But boy did i get the bad vibes from the second i walked in the door. The hostess just slapped me at the closest table to where she was standing, at the front door. Sure, i could have asked to move but it's their show and i'm just along for the ride. The moment the waitress asked for my drink order i knew i was done for. [Coke and an iced Water] For some reason, maybe its my face, she was annoyed from the get go. No idea why. I could tell she was agitated. There was only 2 other tables dining other than me, solo. Between taking my order and tabbing me out i wasnt there 15 minutes. No drink refills, no visits to the table to see if i need anything i.e. ketchup, mustard, ranch. Just nothing. I'm still eating and she comes over with the handheld POS system and says ok here's your bill have a good one. Well heck if you dont want me to eat there just say so. Its not a problem on my end. Lots of other options out there. [THE INTERIOR] Looks like it would be a a nice places to hang out for a while. Lots of TVs going at the same time. [THE FOOD] honestly average at best, i could have had the exact same meal at Chilis for less, but i wanted to try something new. The burger and fries we just eh. Nothing at all to get excited about. We haven't been here a very long time, and it's much bigger than I remembered! They have inside seating, outside seating and bar seating, which includes a pool table! There are TVs everywhere, with pretty much everything that's on, available for watching! Inside, It has an older, somewhat rustic look... while at the same time looking like it's a new finish-out which is very clean and well-maintained! All of the staff, were very friendly and quick to meet all of our needs, including taking the order and bringing the check! NOTE: They have again gone back to table service. My wife got the double cheeseburger and I got Texas chili dog, both of which were very good! We got onion rings, which were excellent! I have to give a shout out to Stephanie, our waitress! We had a few good experiences at the Bottlecap Alley location in Grapevine, so we decided to give this one a try as well. The service at the bar was very nice and they are very accomodating when it comes to modification requests. Lots of places will forego a bun or give you some sort of "lettuce wrap", but they've got it down to an art where your sandwich or taco is actually enjoyable. The place is new, clean, nice, and fun. We will be back probably to both. Chili Cheese tots or cajun fries are my favorites so far. The bar tender suggested the cajun fries and suggested ranch because they have a kick that builds... take her suggestion, have the ranch handy! read more

Change is good! This place changed the way they sit customers. Its now a restaurant with servers and at first I was very iffy about it but now, I get it! The server I had was awesome. I love this place for inexpensive good food and great margaritas. You use a dry erase marker to select items off the lamented menu and then in at the cashier when you order and pay. They carry out to you An average burger is 5-6 and that's with adding extras! I love getting the lettuce bun and saving the carbs for my drink The large margarita is only 6.00 and that's when it's not in sale?! They have several meat options and tons of add-ons free and some for a small upcharge. Bottlecap Alley has been a favorite spot of mine for over 7 years now! The menu is amazing and reasonably priced. Every time I've ever eaten here, the staff is easygoing and helpful! The food never fails to be great. I always order The Kalifornie chicken sandwich. Their fries and quest are amazing! I used to always come here as a broke kid and iMac glad it has stuck around through my adulthood. The vibes here are cool and laidback. As a frequent customer of Bottlecap where I usually get the build-your-own turkey burger, I decided today to get the seafood combo (you get to pick two items from three pieces of catfish, six shrimp, or sixth oysters - all are lightly breaded and fried.). It's a new addition to the menu and comes with slaw, seafood cocktail sauce, tartar sauce, and either tater tots or french fries. Outstanding!! Totally caught me by surprise how tasty this entree was as the seafood is fresh and flavorful and it comes across in the texture of the seafood. And... this review can not go forward without the customer service and attention to the customers of Molly the bartender. Her multi-skill abilities are that of an astronaut. She handles walk-ins to pickup or purchase to -go items, customers at the bar, food that is qued-up for delivery to the dining area, etc. Everyone should experience her customer service. I recommend this establishment for lunch or supper as well as catching a sporting event on a Saturday or Sunday. I can't believe it's taking a pandemic for me to update my review from 9 years ago. Whew. So much has happened in my life. Where to start? ! I know the service and food has been consistent all through the years. I'm primarily impressed by the COVID response. Staff have on masks that actually FIT. There is nothing I hate more than seeing someone with an ill fitting mask, one not covering their nose, and messing with it or moving it to talk. Curbside pickup, dine in, take out and outside seating are all available. They have plexiglass partitions between the booths. Certain tables are closed to allow for social distancing. Plastic utensils are served in a paper envelope. Food is delivered on metal trays with paper protectors. I felt everything was handled with the utmost professionalism and care. I have only eaten out twice since 3/9 and I hate that I even have to write a covid review. read more

When she asked for our drinks I asked if we could order our food with our drinks thinking it would help her but I was wrong. It upset her then she gave me a big huff and puff letting me know she wasn't happy. The food arrived pretty quickly but the burger had plenty of chopped onions and I ordered without onions. I walked the food back to her since most of the tables were being ignored. We waited for at least another 10 minutes and we decided to since it didn't seem like the food was coming. Both of our orders were subpar. The bottom bun to my avocado burger was hard as a brick I couldn't even bite into it, the meat was dry, the fries were soggy, and the taco salad my bf ordered had damn near the entire head of lettuce with like 5 tortilla chips and like 2 spoonfuls of ground beef. We had the "chipotle ranch" but it was more like watery chipotle mayonnaise. It was definitely NOT ranch. The first location I visited was in Greenville, if I'm not mistaken. Everyone I was with enjoyed it! I was excited to find out there is on in Grapevine since that's only a 15 min drive!
