    Greek omelet.

I love a good brunch, and this place is new to the area, so we headed over on a weekday to give it a try. First, the good stuff. The crepes were delicious, especially with the raspberry butter. My husband got the cinnamon butter, and honestly that might have been even better. The food definitely had potential. Now for the reason this review loses a star. The first thing I noticed when I walked in was a slight "baby diaper/garbage" type smell. Unfortunately, it never really went away for me, and honestly it is the thing that will probably keep me from coming back despite liking the food. I will admit I have a nose like a bloodhound. My husband barely noticed it until I pointed it out, so maybe it is just me being extra sensitive. But once you smell something like that, it is hard to un-smell it. I have no idea what the source was, but hopefully they figure it out because the food was actually quite good. Service was good.

I was seated at one of the tables behind the host stand. Every time the door opened, I felt the wind. Fortunately, the morning was pleasantly cool with a slight wind. A small wall, the width of two tables, directly behind the stand failed to block the wind. On cold, windy days, the interior layout of the restaurant will be a problem for half the diners. Per the name of the restaurant, I wanted to try one of the signature butters, particularly the Cinnamon Honey. I ordered the Tex-Mex Omelet with the brunch potatoes and biscuit. Unlike the typical tall and round biscuit, theirs is short and flat. Due to its large surface area, it almost fell apart when held. The omelet was topped in three sections, avocado, crema and tortilla strips. The latter was not mentioned on the menu. Similar to how ham is often prepared, the chorizo was diced rather than grounded. Overall, the omelet was enjoyable. The potatoes were slightly crispy and well seasoned. I enjoyed their coffee. Fortunately, they had both Splenda and Half & Half. The second time my waitress checked on me, I requested a refill. She never came back with the refill. As my throat was getting dry, I had to fall back on water. Eventually, an employee with a coffee pot came by. Because an earlier review mentioned of the credit card surcharge, I was looking for its signage. There was none by the host stand nor on the menu. When I asked for the check, the waitress handed it to me, then left me with the mobile card reader. The final amount charged on my card had about a 2.5% surcharge. The surcharge would significantly add to a large group's bill, it should have better visibility. As for large parties, the square tables are rounded at the corners. When two are combined, the diners in the middle do not have straight edge. A minor annoyance than a major problem.

Biscuit and sausage gravy. Biscuit was nice and fluffy. The gravy is different we couldn't place the seasoning in it but it was good.

Great service. Great food-all entrees were good and large portions. Reasonable priced mimosas-bottle and 4 juices. Very busy. Great place to try for branch. Cute photo wall.

Traditional breakfast with avocado, gluten free toast and no dairy.

Great venue. Able to walk in and be served right away. Comfy seats, kind server, and they made my dairy-free mods with ease. Got the traditional breakfast with some avocado, my son got pancakes with Nutella and banana, and my husband got the salmon Benny, which looked delicious. Would definitely go here if I were in the area again.

First time here. Fairly new, bit of an upscale atmosphere... well lit, clean and comfortable. Wanted to give them 5 stars, but a 3% surcharge for a credit card, small omelette size and a $0.99 charge for a small side of salsa pushed it down to 4 stars. Though the Big Country Omelette was tasty, it was definitely not a 3 egg omelette (and not big). And at $17, charging for salsa (where most other breakfast spots in Grapevine do not) plus the credit card surcharge really crushed my impression of this place! Good size portions of the pancakes and the potatoes, however I would have preferred hashbrowns to their potato wedges. Love their honey, cinnamon butter! Service was good. But nothing special. Whereas I would definitely say you should try it yourself, I won't likely be back as personally I feel there are too many better value choices in Grapevine, of equal quality.

Amazing food and exceptional service. Nice bright and pleasant atmosphere Might have to wait but it's worth it.

Our party of ten needed a place close to the DFW airport. We were seated quickly earlyish on a Friday morning. Coffee was hot and good, and everyone left pleased with their meals! All the food I saw looked really good. Hot, sweet, salty. Eggs were made to order correctly. I would definitely go back here.

I had the Tex-Mex omelette and she had a Smashburger. Both were very good. The jalapeños should've been grilled up a little bit for the omelette. Otherwise everything was very good. I try not to eat carbs, but I tried the potatoes and they were very tasty. Service was great and dining room was clean and orderly. I forgot to take my pictures so they are half eaten pics.

I have been watching and waiting for this place to open and they finally got opened up... As I write this I am sitting at the table they seated me at, I have been here over 10 minutes without being acknowledged. Being on my lunch hour, that is not a good sign for a place. Sadly they are not even busy. I just think no one gives a crap that I am here. The ambiance is pretty typical. Typical breakfast place. It's nice, and somewhat class. The food I have no idea what it tastes like because I have now been here 15 minutes. Walked past by 4 different employees, and once again never acknowledged. Am I INVISIBLE??? FINALLY, at 17 minutes in ( I can't believe I even waited this long!) a very kind bartender came and asked me if anyone has helped me yet. I received a very sincere apology when I explained I have been here for almost 20 minutes and am on my lunch hour. I ordered a Waffle with Bacon and Sausage. The wait for that was not horrible. 8 minutes from order to table. The food was solid. The sausage and the bacon were great, the over medium eggs were cooked perfectly. Important to note: I received a second apology from my server, and the host, who I assume is the front end manager, came by and apologized and said their system was supposed to alert staff someone has been seated did not properly work. He was sincere as was the server. Final notes and disclaimers: my server was excellent. The front end manager did a good job once he knew what had happened. I would argue they should not have to be reliant on a system to know a client is seated and unattended to in a relatively empty and small restaurant, but I digress. Even though I insisted on paying, they would not let me. I did still take care of my server, which is proper, especially since she had nothing to do with the mishap. I am rating them a three today. Did they do all the right things to handle the mistake? Yes, they did. Is it probably a newbie mistake as far as what happened? Probably, but it still happened, so I can pretend in my review it did not, but once again, they owned and fixed it, which says a lot. I would certainly come back, as separate from that it was a good experience.

Great food, great service! Only setback was that espresso machine was down. We'll be back!

    Huevos rancheros and iced coffee

They opened close to my apartment so I had to go check it out. I saw huevos rancheros on the menu so I ordered them. When they came I was disappointed to see a crispy tortilla. but some how it worked. Makes it a little hard to eat but I will order them again. Nice spot. Happy they opened near me.

My husband and I decided to split the Biscuit & Gravy Omelet, and it was the perfect choice. The omelet was stuffed with a biscuit and smothered in rich, flavorful sausage gravy--comfort food at its finest! The portion was huge and worked perfectly for sharing. We added a side of pancakes and hash browns, which completed the meal perfectly. The freshly squeezed orange juice was absolutely delicious and tasted incredibly fresh. A special shout-out to our server, Vanessa, who was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. Other than that, everything was great. One thing I really appreciated was how quickly the food came out and nobody likes waiting forever when they're hungry! My friend ordered pancakes along with another breakfast item, and she enjoyed her meal as well. Overall, it was a nice brunch spot with great service, good food, and a comfortable atmosphere.
