We had a family dinner here with 8 of us in the reservation. First time at a Firebirds and I had seen a lot of good reviews. The inside is a slightly upscale bar and grille scene. Impressed too they seated us right away. Now the one downside for the night was the service. The restaurant was only 1/2 full on a Sunday night but our server was MIA way too much. Very slow to get our drinks ordered then delivered. Rarely checked on us I under 15 minutes . So our drinks were often empty. Then our disorders came out staggered. That's just bad service when there's more than 10 minutes in between guests getting their plates. Now the food was exceptional! I had the grilled salmon and shrimp. Very tasty. My wife had the filet and it was outstanding! Everyone else really liked their food. Just wish the service matched the quality of the food.

This was a very tasty salad, it came out fresh and fast. The food also came out hot as well and the food was on point. We didn't have to wait at all to be seated and the staff are very friendly

Happy to say I returned quickly after my first try, and both times I sat at the bar. The service was quick, and our order was prepared as I would have wanted. On my first visit, I stopped for a glass of red wine and tried their Chicken Tortilla Soup. I ordered a bowl for $9. They make theirs on the creamier side. I have to be in the mood for this version, but it was very good. On my second visit, I had the opportunity to try their 7oz. Roasted Garlic Sirloin with a side of broccoli for $21.95. The roasted garlic was a bit much for me, so I removed the butter on top; it seemed to be too salty. The steak was grilled to my liking, medium rare, and the broccoli was fresh, and of course, my extra shredded cheese and grilled jalapeños really brought the meal together. My other half ordered the Firebird's Chicken Pasta for $18.25, which came with Spicy Asiago cream sauce, applewood-smoked bacon, green onions, and tomatoes. The Asiago cream was too much for both of us, and we felt like there was Parmesan on the dish as well, which did not seem to mix in our opinion. Our cocktails, the Paloma Mimosa and the Strawberry Cucumber Margarita, were both refreshing and great for a brunch selection. This location is in a great spot for food selection, and plenty of parking is available. Everyone was so friendly, and the cost of their selection is fair. I would definitely love to return and try more off the menu.

Found this place for Lunch before heading to DFW. Wha a great find! Food was excellent! Fresh and definitely home made! The deviled eggs.....to die for! My grilled Salmon Salad was outstanding with candied pecans! What took our lunch to the next level was Hunter! What a great server! Kind, helpful, friendly, attentive and just really made our lunch experience great! I will be coming back to this location every time I fly in to DFW!

Firebirds - Grapevine Had a good experience here. Everything from warm welcome by greeter to the waiter always checking in to make sure we were satisfied with everything and providing refills, without being asked. Came by here with family for celebration and good fresh food. We ordered, "Honey Garlic Chicken" - $23.95 and "FIREBIRDS™ Chicken Pasta" - $24.55. Biting into "Honey Garlic Chicken," was like biting into a great cooked steak, juicy and tender. "FIREBIRDS™ Chicken Pasta," had great flavors and has right amount of spicy kick to it. We had to take home leftovers because portions were big. Service was great. Place was clean. I rarely drink alcohol, but I would say, if you do, you're going to appreciate their gorgeous bar display. Always been a big fan of bar decor. Would recommend it to anyone looking for good quality food in Grapevine.

I struggled with rating this. It's not 3, but it's absolutely not a 4. Given I definitely can't give them a 4, I had to round down to a 3. We visited for my father in laws birthday and were seated promptly without a reservation. Granted it was a Tuesday night. Since we were a group of five, the amount of bread provided was insufficient. When we requested more, the server complied, but it didn't seem like she was eager to do so. Here's what we got: Philly Cheesesteak Egg Rolls: solid. Better than del frisco's Philly egg rolls. Cajun Ribeye: the pictures for this item were exaggerated, because it definitely wasn't slathered with sauce, which is probably a good thing. I'd say the steak was interesting. Ahi Tuna Superfoods Salad: the tuna was fantastic. Would recommend this. What we'd like to try next time: - Grilled Salmon and Shrimp - Lobster Spinach Queso - Roasted Garlic Sirloin or any of their reccomended steaks. - Firebirds™ Durango Burger

I was honestly surprised and impressed at how bad the service can be at a location. I go to the Alliance location frequently and love this chain. I forgot that it was Father's Day weekend and the hostess rudely responded that they are fully booked for the ENTIRE DAY and our only option was to sit at the bar or outside. Didn't even get an option to wait for a table in the dining room. We opted to sit in the bar area. Waiter came by pretty quickly and took drink orders but that was going to be one of the last times we see him. I guess since we chose to sit in the bar area, we don't get the included bread. After about 20mins of sitting around, what I assume to be a manager (collared dress shirt) stopped by and had asked if he could assist, he got our server to stop by and take our order. Again, didn't see the server again for a while. Our food was brought out by another manager. It was obvious that our food was sitting under a heat lamp or something for an extended amount of time. The skin on the soup was thick and well done. The cheese steak egg rolls were sliding to one side of the plate with sauce thrown on -- no presentation like the other tables were getting. For the price of the food, this type of service is just straight up unacceptable. Meanwhile, every tv in the bar area was playing open heart surgery while we were eating. I've worked in restaurants and frequent them like it's my day job, but the service experienced here was truly abysmal. Clearly the management didn't have enough staff for Father's Day weekend. The niceish weather didn't help with people sitting on the patio. It's disappointing having to be accountable for a restaurants lack of management and planning. Won't be coming back to this location, period.

Me and my wife went there for Valentine's Day lunch for the first time and it was so great of an experience from the price to the food and drinks and most of all Ruben are server. He was the very best server we have ever had anywhere , he was very helpful in everything we chose to get from the drinks to appetizer and the meal . He is very knowledge of all of it . So you have to go and to get the best experience ask for Ruben . He was a great guy.

Very nice lunch. Salads are very large and well made. Our server was friendly and attentive. The dining room is large, open and bright.

First time here! Great atmosphere, open with lots of windows. Fine dining menu & prices (but prices on the low side of fine dining). Amazing looking bar!!! Tables are okay with the more modern look! Seated immediately, sever very attentive! Speed of service was good! Huge, excellent side salad. Not a fan of the bread, a white, Italian, mini loaf. We ordered the Chilean Seabass. Ordered it with street corn and asparagus. The street corn was very good. However, the Seabass was average at best. Friends had the Salmon and the Sirloin. They felt both were excellent / above average! Definitely would recommend trying them, we will be back, however, not for the seabass.

Recently we have noticed a 'gnat' issue that really needs to be addressed. During our meal we killed a couple of the little buggers, but several more were there to take their place immediately. An occasional gnat is one thing, but when they interrupt the entire meal, that is excessive and needs to be addressed. We will be back, but we hope this gets addressed- ***Update 2.06.2026 The Tilapia sandwich has been my go to for years but STILL, the issue with this restaurant is the gnat problem! I would think that ANY creditable pest control company could make this issue go away. It just doesn't seem healthy-

He was patient, attentive, and courteous throughout the evening. The menu is vast so we had many questions and he took his time to answer all of them. We decided to go with the three course menu. I went with burrata appetizer, 9oz filet mignon, and carrot cake for dessert. My medium rare steak was cooked perfectly and paired with creamed spinach and mashed potatoes. My friend got the scallop and shrimp sauté. The chefs did a fabulous job searing and cooking steak and seafood tenderly. Our dessert was the baked Alaska, carrot cake, and key lime pie. All were super generous portions enough to share. And the right sweet tooth to finish dinner. I would say Trulucks nailed the high end dining experience. Our server, Ashlie was very prompt and friendly, especially catering to the elderly members of our table (and our grad, of course!). We will absolutely be visiting again!!

Date night at Perry's last night!…read more First things first: Perry's is gorgeous. Modern, upscale, and elegant without making you feel like you're about to be judged for holding your fork wrong. We had reservations and were seated immediately. Unfortunately, our first dinner companion was...a fly. I know this is Texas and flies don't exactly RSVP, but this one seemed determined to experience fine dining right alongside us. Eventually it either found another table or met its untimely demise. Either way, peace was restored. The manager stopped by within the first 20 minutes to check on us (his visit was unrelated to the fly), which was appreciated. Our server was prompt, friendly, and had excellent timing throughout the meal. The only miss? She gave us the speed-run version of the menu and never mentioned any of Perry's signature dishes. She didn't realize it was our first visit until we were paying the check, which explains why we unknowingly skipped what they're apparently famous for. The warm bread arrived early with butter so soft it practically spread itself. Dangerously good. We split the Caesar salad, and honestly, it may have been my favorite part of the meal. Lightly dressed with house-made croutons and seasoned sunflower seeds, every bite had crunchy, citrusy, salty/spicy goodness that somehow all worked together beautifully. For our entrees, my husband ordered the cedar plank-fired redfish, and I went with the special Beef Wellington. We both had the exact same thought after a few bites: the seasoning was winning the battle...against everything else. We love bold seasoning, but it felt like all the flavors were competing for attention instead of letting what seemed to be beautiful cuts of fish and beef shine. The loaded mashed potatoes, however? Zero notes. Cheesy, whipped, buttery perfection. Dessert was the chocolate chip bread pudding with homemade toasted marshmallow, and this is where things really surprised us--in the wrong direction. It somehow managed to be bread pudding...without much flavor. I didn't think that was possible, but here we are. Completely underwhelmed. To wash down our dessert disappointment, we ended the night with the Salted Caramel Espresso Martini. And honestly? It almost redeemed everything. It tasted like the most decadent chocolate milk you've ever had--with just enough espresso to make it feel classy. This drink is dangerous in all the best ways because it goes down far too easily. Order one...just don't blame me when you immediately want a second. As we were leaving, we finally learned the real star of Perry's is the famous pork chop. Then one was delivered to the table next to us. Y'all...that thing looked about five inches tall, carved into slices like a pie, and could probably feed a small family. Holy moly. Final verdict: beautiful restaurant, attentive service, and some genuinely great bites. But if you're a first-timer, do yourself a favor and order the pork chop. Apparently, that's the move. Guess we'll have to go back and let the giant pork chop have its chance at redemption.
