    Burger and onion rings

Stopped into town for ice cream but ended up stumbling across this place and I'm so glad we did! It's the kind of classic, no-frills spot where you can grab a cold beer, catch a game, and dig into some seriously satisfying comfort food. The vibe is laid-back and welcoming. Every server we interacted with was smiling and genuinely friendly. It really added to the atmosphere. You can tell the staff enjoys working there, and that kind of energy is infectious. Now, the food: the burger was exactly what I crave when I think of a good, old-fashioned burger. Nothing over-complicated, just juicy, well-seasoned beef, melted cheese, and a toasted bun. It was cooked just right, with that perfect balance of savory and juicy. Simple, but executed beautifully. On the side? Two absolutely gigantic onion rings that were golden, crispy, and sweet. The batter had a light crunch without being greasy, and the onions inside were tender and flavorful. Basically onion ring perfection. The mozzarella sticks were another standout. Hot, gooey, and with a satisfying cheese pull that was honestly Instagram-worthy. Crispy on the outside, melty on the inside. Exactly how they should be. I wouldn't recommend the cocktails. They were trying too hard with a fancy mixology vibe that didn't quite land. But the beer? Cold, refreshing, and just right with the food and the atmosphere. Why go? If you're looking for a relaxed spot to hang out, enjoy a game, and eat some really solid comfort food, this place delivers. It's the kind of place you leave full, happy, and already planning your next visit.

Ambiance: Happening place on Cole street, lot of seating giving bar vibes Service: Very friendly staff and food came out decently quick Food: we tried the Calamari, onion rings, Thai salad, and burgers. Dessert was sizzling brownie with ice cream, YUMMM! The onion rings stood out, very tasty and crispy not too oily. Food was overall very nice.

Coconut curry muscles...EVERY TIME!!!!! Add a Mac & Jacks to make it complete. In and out in 45 minutes as it was before the dinner rush. Highly recommend the salmon salad too...it's my second favorite.

Stopped in over the weekend after hiking in Rainier. We wanted a place where we could sit down and order food/beer. It was pretty busy, but we had no trouble grabbing two seats at the bar. The interior is fairly standard bar decor and they had several TVs on. Our bartender was quick to get us drinks and menus and even offered a sample of one of the beers I was interested in. This was especially appreciated because she was definitely very busy. We both ordered burgers and while they weren't medium as requested (more medium-well/well done) the flavor was good. I'm much less worried about the burger being a bit over when the flavor and juiciness are still there. Bonus points for offering tater tots as a side option. Really happy with our experience and wouldn't hesitate to come again when we're in the area.

Once my friends and I arrived, it was a "seat yourself" type of place so we picked the first open table. It took about 5-8 minutes before being given menus. The server was pretty attentive and gave us enough time to look over the menu. The chicken caesar wrap is pretty underwhelming and the onion rings had barely any flavor. The clam chowder and chili was great though, made me regret not buying a big bowl of soup. Once the server came back around to ask if we need boxes, we only requested one but she persisted on giving us two, which I thought was a bit odd. Overall, the food that night was mediocre. Ambiance was nice, warm, and cozy.

Tonight I visited Rainier bar and Grill with my wife, the service was amazing Conner did a great job getting our drinks ordered and served quickly. Although it took about 30 minutes after ordering for us to get our food. The wait was well worth it, everything tasted great and was hot and fresh. One thing that was less than desirable was having to pay extra to get onion rings as a side(which is no issue) and only receiving two rings, which is a bummer because they were delicious. My burger was cooked exactly how I asked (some pink) and the fries were good. The drinks were definitely served with a heavy poor and very fast for any refills. The atmosphere is great, it's an old school PNW rustic bar that is inviting for the whole family. The show stopper was hands down the caramel brownie on the skillet, it was served with ice cream and piping hot caramel and was well worth the visit we absolutely recommend.

Burgers are good, and the desserts are great. Service can be hit/miss. Sometimes the beer is cold, sometimes it's not.

Awesome! Couldn't have enjoyed our visit to Crockett's any more…read more We stopped in on a Saturday for lunch. It was relatively busy, but our server was great! The fried zucchini were prepared in a manner that we haven't seen before - long, flat pieces. Excellent! My wife had the Sloppy Joe - and she couldn't have been more pleased. Seasoned to perfection. I opted for a Wedge Salad, which was another item prepared in a way I hadn't seen before either - it wasn't a big rock-like salad, it was sliced and laid sideways. Perfect. and with lots of bacon! We'll definitely be back to Crockett's! (We'll just have to find a reason to go to Puyallup.)

Came here per their suggestion, because I'm a food snob, and I'm glad we did. Cool little place, super clean, nice decorum, yada yada yada. Our server was Jessica T. I am very neurotic, and she was very patient, and even engaged in back and forth banter. She came to take our drink order, and if you know me, I always have a lot of complex requests. I started off ordering a boring vodka and soda, but then switched it up to cucumber vodka with muddled lime and mint with soda. Visibly and vocally unperturbed, she took my order along with my counterparts. The bartender whipped me up a couple of those bad boys and let me tell you, it was refreshment level: EXPERT. And props to the bartender, whom I thanked on the way out. After I drink order, I started ordering all sorts of ish. We had, an order of grilled sourdough, which was phenomenal and I'm actually going to start making that at home, if I ever get there, me and my (non-romantically involved, strictly platonic cuz I don't swing that way) partner both had the Cavatappi Ragu, and his wife had something with meatballs, that's all I can really remember. Man, even a my standards the food was so good. I'm very grateful that my folks picked up the check, and I feel bad because I ordered so much stuff, which I wasn't expecting because I went Ham on the menu, but damn man.... I think you can actually eat cheaper at a comparable restaurant in LA... Prices were pretty high. Even for me hahaha BUT all that being said, the next time I come see these clowns, I want to go back! Very good experience, very good food, very good service. ***DISCLAIMER*** This pure, uncut, honest review is federally protected under Federal Law by way of Bill #EO14149. Pros: Chill lounge/sitting area at the front corner with sofas, a low bar (accessibility friendly) and board games. Big tables to accommodate groups and various bar seating. Large brewery menu screens with large range and the food looked good. Tbh we came for brews so can't comment on food. The Wildman Beer brand was so-so. Some better than others! Cons: FOH staff interaction. Why we love pubs/breweries is because of the chill, friendly, conversational flow of FOH; their knowledge of the beers and/or cocktails, their passion for sharing it with new customers so they come back again and again ... this vibe fell short at Wildman. TL;DR Good for a basic group of people looking for a brewery experience in town with room for large groups. But when I saw that they opened up a location in Olympia and Steve and I were going to Olympia for a show it made perfect sense to go to this new location. Downtown where our show was is super walkable and this brewery is right there. When we went in what escaped my attention at the Raymond location was that I was particularly impressed with their own mead selection. And the mead did not disappoint in the slightest. The first mead I had was their Oak Aged Classic Mead. Such fantastic balance in body and the oak flavor was truly impressive! I got another mead from the list, the Sneaky Bastard Meer. It's called meer I believe due to the five different kinds of hops they put into it. Great floral and honey flavored highlights! Our experience here was excellent! Steve enjoyed his drink selections as well! Definitely returning for more mead enjoyment!
