I have been to Cane's a few times and I like them, chicken is good, Cole slaw is tasty and their tea and lemonade is pretty good. I try to limit eating out but when I decide it's my day for a treat Cane's is an option as we know there's many options out there. Give them a try you probably will love it. I do not see what the hype is about other than trying something new that pops up into town. I had never been here before so I didn't know that I couldn't get my food at window one. Husband and I tried Raising Canes Chicken Fingers on Saturday. It was pretty good. Let me start with the chicken: that was some proper southern fried chicken. The breading was just right and crispy and the chicken was tender and juicy. It was quite good. The tenders were big. The Texas toast was okay. Meh even. Same with the coleslaw but I'm a bit spoiled because Husband's coleslaw is my favorite. RC's was creamy and nicely done and would answer a coleslaw hankering. The fries, for me, were disappointing. They weren't fried long enough and did not have a touch of seasoning. But the main star was the chicken, and I didn't need those extra carbs anyway. They were busy, busy, busy but the wait was short and there was ample seating. The staff were friendly and efficient (you can tell there were a lot of corporate training people there). The biggest issue was the parking lot. When you turn on the road to get to Raising Canes, you choose if you are going through the drive through or inside seating. The drive through line was long. The dine in lane was actually the other side of the street. So you are driving down this road going the wrong way. The signage for parking was not good; the exit was clearly marked but the entrance was not. I ended up going through the neighbor's parking lot to get back to Canes. The signage to get in was also confusing. A sign directing us to the entrance had two opposing arrows. We picked one. Yeah, you know it was the wrong one. We will go back. It was fast. The customer service is terrible here! I placed an order for pickup at 6:31pm and had a pick-up time of 6:36pm. I was there at the 6:36. After checking my order, I noticed the fries were cold and asked for a remake of fries. After the 10 minute mark, I asked the cashier if the tenders were going to be remade now because the wait for fries has been really long. The cashier was not helpful and communicative with the status of my order. She appeared condescending, and the staff was busy engaging with one another and playing around and did not care to move things along.I literally waited for over 20 minutes to get my order remade. I do not recommend this location. They are slow and terribly rude. I reached out to customer relations who heard me out and rectified the situation. Went in for my first time with my family and order 3 meals waited 40 minutes and still didn't get the food. Multiple people came in after, order and got there orders no problem. I said something to the cashier multiple times and all I got was attitude. The manager finally spoke to me at the 40 minute mark to tell me they just started making my order. I got a refund and left. This is a brand new place for me, and what a great experience! Smiles and friendly service! The food was extremely fresh and presented well. The service really was great! Prompt, patient, and helpful with my multiple questions. Music a little loud so caused the volume of the conversations in the entire place to have to go up! Otherwise fantastic new find for me!! Fries are normal, what made me good was the sauce, and the toast, service was easy, took five minutes for 3 of these, and the inside isn't that dirty, it's just a little overhyped. Sauce(s), pending on the number of chicken fingers you purchase. You can purchase extra if needed. The chicken is bland to mild seasoned. The Cane sauce helped the taste of the chicken a little. The food taste is average, and I did not taste anything unique with Raising Cane's food. The tea is too sweet for me but if you like tea that is too sweet tea, then you will love their tea. I've heard a lot of good things about Raising Cane's, so I decided to try them out for the first time. They actually took over the spot where Boston Market used to be in Waldorf off Crain HW. I wanted some chicken, so why not. I was aware that their main claim to fame were their Chicken Fingers. I ordered the Box Combo, which came with 4 C/F, crinkled fries, Texas Toast, cole slaw and some kind of sauce. Regular drink comes with it, but I upgraded my Coke Zero to a 32 oz. C/F are breaded, were hot and juicy but bland (no seasoning). I guess that's why they give you sauce (a mixture of Mayo and Ketchup - I think) to add some flavor to them. Made them taste better. Slaw was creamy just like I like it, fries cooked and salted perfectly. Drink was very cold with a perfect amount of ice. One huge issue was a long strand of hair on my Texas Toast. C'Mon now! No hairnets were available? Gross! Overall, food was ok, but hair in the food is inexcusable! Service was good and professional plus the price was decent. I'm not totally sold on R/C, but maybe it's for you. Just check your food before you bite into it. Recommended.....I think. read more
