Order the tailgate today, which comes with a certain amount of sauces, which is great. However, crazy as heck that you can't get a cane sauce when you order fries; two orders of fries and no cane sauce. I'm sorry I was able to purchase cane sauce for $.42 each. My drink was overfilled with ice to reduce the liquid, come on, bro... I needed a drink. And every time I order a tailgate for my family... They are frying 'em up right at this location! Simple, crunchy, thin breading..chicken super juicy and tender. Tenders especially good dipped in that addictive signature sauce of theirs. Just be prepared to salt those crinkle cut fries (and buy extra sauces to dip them in). Texas toast and Arnold Palmer also super yummy. Coleslaw is skippable (sub it for more fries!). Pro tip: you can subtract drinks from combos for better value, and sub sides to customize. Sometimes they will get part of an order wrong, but that's not a huge problem at this location. Dining room is large and clean. A/C is cranked up freezing cold, a problem compounded by those all metal chairs. Like every other location, they play that 90's pop music pretty loud, so if you want to chat SPEAK UP ;)...and enjoy! read more

Got this for dinner today and I don't understand how this place was so busy. The chicken strips we got were 100% bland. Did they forget to season this entire batch? Only saving grace was their dipping sauce, which I mean, for a place that is known for selling chicken strips...sauce really shouldn't be the highlight here. Fries were unseasoned too. What happened to the salt today guys!? Oddly enough, the only thing that was seasoned was the toast. And even then the toast was a little stale? This location has the best chicken in Edmond. It is cooked perfectly and served cheerfully WITHOUT FAIL. It is a very busy location with lots of UCO students. The manager should be very proud of his/her staff. Always clean. We're very lucky since most counter serve food retailers here and many places we've traveled to seem to be struggling! read more

My first time eating at this restaurant and I gotta day, it most certainly does not live up to the exceptional hype. It is yet another entry in the fast food game with tremendous word of mouth and tremendously ordinary food. The chicken was barely above bland, maybe improve the seasoning. I'll give them credit in a few areas no other dedicated chicken restaurant can claim. The chicken most certainly was not dry and it was fairly affordable compared to the competition. Having those things going for them I would highly suggest they work on a better seasoning for the chicken beyond the signature sauce, if you're depending on sauce to highlight flavor then you've failed. This restaurant seems tailored to feeding kids on days you don't feel like cooking or spending way more money. read more

This place deserves five stars as a Cane's location. I like this chain and have eaten at several around the country. This is the best of all the locations I have tried, including the one in Baton Rouge I first discovered years ago before they started growing as a chain. This location is ultra clean and very comfortable and the staff super friendly. And what's up with people here in Edmond? Everyone I've encountered in the last couple of days have been super friendly, genuinely so. Its like being in Niceville. After awhile, its almost scary. It draws you in. Makes you want to live here. How was the food? The chicken strips were cooked absolutely perfect! The fries were very good too, which made me eat more of them than I wanted too. The sauce is the sauce. Some love it. I wish they offered some other choices, like a spicy Ranch. So why only four stars? I have been wanting to try Canes and today was the day, this location because I was enroute to Luther. Nice restaurant, nice staff and my food was perfect. Canes days they have One Love and that is chicken and honestly they make really good chicken. It's fresh not frozen and I believe it, moist chicken breaded just right for my taste and I really like their dipping sauce enough to ask for a second. Two orders of the 3 piece dinner came to $13.82 and each dinner had 3 nice chicken tenders, fries and a half size piece of Texas Toast and your choice of drink. Honestly, the food is as always. My review is solely for the lack of cleanliness. There were crumbs on almost EVERY table. The floor didn't look like it had been swept in several shifts. Literally everything around needed to be wiped down and cleaned. There was ketchup on the side of the soft drink dispensary, not to mention ice all over the floor (slip hazard). I'm grateful I didn't need to use the restroom bc I could only guess what it would have looked like. Long wait at the drive thru when not that busy. I hope the food is worth it. .... Well after waiting for about 20 minutes in the drive through, I was not very impressed. By the time we got to the first window, our food was cold. The french fries were soggy. The chicken was not seasoned well. I was most dismayed by the service. The person we met at the window looked at me as if I was supposed to tell them what I had ordered so they could get it for me. They told us the wrong drinks and had to prepare them for us instead of having them ready. Additionally, they had no clue what our order was and thus we had to repeat everything back to them again. Epic failure on the part of a fast food restaurant that we had expected good things. Especially since our friends had built up the reputation of this place significantly. The food is great. The only reason this is four stars is because the staff at this location are not the friendliest, but rather clueless and have terrible customer service. Having been here many times, they frequently don't have clean trays (probably because some don't actually do the dishes because of laziness) and therefore give theirs to-go boxes which therefore gives fewer fries. read more

It's like pressing the button on a children's toy knowing there's only five different phrases but you just can't wait to hear which one you're going to get. This place is amazing! I have been coming here ever since it opened in Edmond. The chicken is juicy and delicious (ask for extra crispy chicken if you like really fried chicken, thank me later), the fries are just as good, the bread is so deliciously soft and inviting; but what really sets Canes apart from the rest is there sweet tea, there is nothing like it, not to mention it's made with real cane sugar!
