Its fast food, its an alternative to Chick-fil-A. I haven't been to this location before and its been quite awhile since I ate at a Raising Canes, from what I remember it wasnt all that. BUT my son wanted chicken and this was on the way, off the highway of our trip to the Bay Area. We opt to go inside to order as drive thru was a little busy, a very holiday decorated interior. We were greeted, order taken and they had a few orders before ours, so it did take a little longer. Grabbed our order and started to drive off and eat in the car. The chicken was super juicy and tasty. I should have ordered the strip meal as I did not eat it as a sandwich or even eat the bread, In fact I recieved three strips inside my sandwich! So it worked out. It was my son's first time eating this type of fast food and he was hooked. He loved the bread and the favt that he learned you can customize. So much so that we ate at another location while we were in the bay area. The pricing seems to vary as this place is relatively cheaper than the one near our house when checking pricing online. We live Raising Cames but this location makes me not want to eat Canes again! My husband brought us dinner last night and it was by far the worst dinner I've got here. I have to say the Vista and Mira Mesa locations are on top of it amd food is delish. Our food was cold, almost all of it and we barely got any of the cold fries that normally come in our meals. I have a large family so when we order , we send alot of per meal. Im extremely disappointed that after a long day we were served cold food in a sparse amount. There was a few thing I didn't enjoy about my most recent visit to canes first of all I asked for a water and the worker in pink hair said she will have to charge me. Which no one ever does water is free. She didn't even make me feel heard. I didn't want to cause any problems and not ruin her shift. However my food was ruined. The French fries were delicious and not too salty. The sauce was yummy with pepper. Ok, the best part? The TOY was a ring of my dog!!! And I got real lemonade that was delicious. Honestly, Cane's is one of those places that just hits when you're in the mood for something fast, simple, and satisfying. I've been here a few times now and it's always consistent. The chicken fingers are always hot, crispy on the outside, and juicy inside. You can tell they don't just let them sit under a heat lamp forever. The Cane's Sauce? Addictive. I don't know what they put in that stuff but I could dip literally anything in it and be happy. The toast is buttery and soft, and the fries are always decent -- not the best fries in the world, but when you dip them in the sauce, they do the job. The menu is super basic, but that's kind of the point. You come here for chicken fingers. That's it. And they do it really well. Service has always been quick for me, and the employees are usually in a good mood which makes the experience better. Only reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is just because I wish they had a few more options -- maybe spicy tenders or something different once in a while.
