OMG, for this we had to lose the PDQ location around the corner. PDQ jumped too quick -- because this food is just plain awful. And just too plain! There is zero flavor in the chicken and no salt on the fries, and the drinks are watery. The prices are nuts for the quality of food. They should offer more than the sorry excuse for their sauce -- which is basically glorified Thousand Island dressing. We drive all the way over to Marlton to visit the last remaining PDQ -- so worth it. A much better meal for the price and so well coated. Would love to see Cain's leave and PDQ come back! read more

I can't wait until they open a Raising Cane's closer to me! But until then, I have to plan my trips to stop by one if I'm in the area because their chicken tenders with the cane's sauce are that good! Eating in-person is better than drive-thru as with everything, and it makes more of a difference with their fries and Texas toast. The chicken fingers though are still great reheated in an air fryer. The staff was also friendly, and I love how you can substitute the coleslaw for more fries, toast, or sauce free of charge! read more

Tell me there's a new chicken place in town and I'm down to try it. I knew it was still fairly new but was super happy the line wasn't the worst and always appreciate having a crew outside to help with the traffic. It's a simple menu. I went with the box combo because I wanted to try the coleslaw along with the bread, chicken & fries. OK, the bread is great. Soft, buttery. Should this have been toasted more? No, it was great as is. Next the coleslaw, tasty. Is it the way I make mine, no, but I liked this, and it balanced the flavors out. The fries, a little soft, hot, and flavorful. Probably in my top 2 favorite fast-food fries. The chicken, great crispy coating, seasoned really well and juicy meat. It's a pretty big portion so I had some the next day, just threw it in the air fryer and was tasty all over again. The famous cane sauce is a good dipping addition. Drink of choice, lemonade. It was excellent, not overly sweet. I didn't get to check out the inside but loved the Marlton painting on the side of the building. Definitely check this place out. read more

Not bad. Don't understand the hype. Not particularly memorable. The place in Marlton is about a week old so the parking lot is packed and the drive through is wrapped around the place. My advice would be to order your food on the app and pick up inside because you skip the whole line inside. So new that they are working out the kinks, the fountain drinks we ordered with our box meals were not waiting in the pickup area when we arrived but the food was. So we had to flag down an employee and explain to them that we needed the drinks, which took a really long time. I'm sure they will figure it all out as more people eat there, the demand will die down. My rating is solely on the food quality with what we brought home. The tenders were fairly good - nice crispy flavorful breading, tender white meat that was a little bit "woody." Crinkle cut fries were undercooked and not crisp. Canes sauce tastes like a ketchup and old bay mixture, slightly creamy. Texas toast was a thick gummy commercially prepared bread that had a slight buttery flavor on the one side... but I don't get it. Maybe letter if eaten immediately and not taken out. Cole slaw was fresh with nice crisp veggies, but the dressing tasted more like mayo and could use a bit more vinegar and sugar. At the bottom of my hinged white to go container, after I ate all four tenders in my box, I noticed a long black human hair all across the entree compartment. It happens but kinda gross. I used to LOVE Raising Cane's when I lived out west, and was tickled to find out they were expanding out here to NJ. And by expanding, I heard they were opening a bunch of them right here in South Jersey. I made the fatal mistake early on coming here within the first two weeks of its opening. My bad - I didn't realize it had just opened, didn't realize all the hype that led to a madhouse here. Once I pulled in and saw there was a huge line just trying to get in and out of the parking lot, I was trapped. Luckily, a parking spot opened up right in front of me and I walked inside to avoid the drive through. I actually enjoyed my meal - my timing was perfect as when I walked in there was a lull, and 5 minutes later, the line inside snaked all the way back outside. The chicken was fresh, hot and juicy. The lemonade hit the spot. I loved the Texas toast. The crinkle fries - uhhh, waaaaaay too much salt. Yikes. Enjoyed my little treat here, but thanks, I think I will wait until everybody calms down. read more

So Raising Cane's has officially popped up in NJ, with 3 or 4 new locations within mere miles of each other, all within the past few months creating a strong presence in South Jersey...This is another place I've had in my travels elsewhere -South Carolina and even the newish location in Manhattan. Both were much better than my visit to the Marlton location. Drive thru consists of two lines that merge together like most fast food drive thru restaurants these days. Both lines were extremely long, so I thought this was a good sign-it wasn't. Ordered my usual 3 tenders meal which comes with fries, garlic toast and a drink and the only sauce they offer-Cane's sauce. Let's start with the good-the lemonade was good, just waaaayyyyy too much ice. The garlic toast was fresh, buttery and delicious. Now, the not so good-the cane's sauce is a throwaway, I tried it twice in the past and hated it so I usually decline it the fries-soggy, soggy, inedible the tenders-now, they are not known for their seasoning, but for me what I like about them is that they are usually very fresh, and juicy which is a tough task for white meat. But, this time they were very dry and tough making them inedible also. I won't return. Oh how I wish Zaxby's would come to NJ instead. 1/10 read more

They only serve chicken fingers, chicken sandwiches and fries.Canes is the fastest growing fast food restaurant in the United States so we wanted to stop in and see what all the hype was about. Did the chicken finger meal and found the chicken to be very moist with a good light coating. The fries were kind of like McDonald's only crinkled. The staff had the same friendly demeanor as you will find a Chick-fil-A. Our favorite, fast food, chicken fingers are from Bojangles, which you can find down south. The chicken fingers from there are a little bit crispier, and seem to be a little bit more flavorful. Even still, it was a very good experience for what it is. Raising Cane's does one thing only, but they do it well -- come here for some juicy, crispy chicken tenders in their iconic Cane's sauce and Texas toast. I was most impressed by their chicken tenders, which were both juicy and crisp from the breading. Compared to Chick-fil-A, I think these were more juicy as Chick-fil-A tends to lean more dry and dense. However, if you're not in the mood for tenders, that's basically all they have other than those same tenders on a bun for a chicken sandwich. Cane's sauce was decent but leaned more on the vinegary side in my opinion. The Texas toast was buttered and soft, and it was a welcome addition to the meal. The fries were nothing to rave about. I thought they were actually a touch too salty, and I'm more of a waffle fry girl myself. There's a decent amount of indoor seating along with a covered outdoor patio, pickup parking, and a large drive thru. Service was extremely fast and nice; location is exceptionally clean and fun with some spinning disco balls and art. We went to try Raising Canes today thinking the hype would have gone down by now. We ended up waiting 22 minutes in the drive thru line. They have the same setup as Chick-fil-A but it is not half as efficient. They only have 4 menu options, so you would think the drive thru would move extremely fast, but it's the exact opposite. We only ordered the combo box with 4 chicken tenders, toast, fries and cane's sauce. The chicken tenders were all white meat and very juicy. The Texas toast was extremely salty and undercooked. The fries were undercooked as well. I'm assuming the food was undercooked since they were trying to get tons of people through the line as soon as possible. The prices here are also much more than Chick-fil-A. Our meal was almost $13 after tax. I'm glad I tried it since they are popping up all around, but I likely will not return. read more

Good came out super hot which I appreciate. It was quick and the staff were very efficient. They were calling out to the back how many people were entering so they could have everything ready. Food was decent. It wasn't the best I've had but i definitely appreciate how hot and fresh it was. Chicken could have been in a little longer for more crisp though. read more

Drive thru experience was smooth they try the Chick Fil A esque style with putting your name to the order. Lack of options will hurt them up in the north. Bland tenders will not cut it along with those lightly salted fries. The sauce is a very potent one whatever seasoning they put in it they should put it on the chicken instead! Also no variation on the spice levels except for the sauces. And that was only buffalo sauce. But I would've gave it a better rating, but the person taking the order completely missed everything I said . I asked for three tenders and she somehow put kids meal . I asked for extra toast, and she somehow missed putting that in the order . First time at Cane's, last time at Canes. OK they are new to the area and they have two restaurants opening close by. So I went to the first one that opened in Marlton and went in to see what it is all about. Got the three piece fingers with their sauce and fries and Texas toast and drink for around 1050 or so. When I took the first bite of the fingers I almost spit it out. It was so loosely textured It felt like the chicken wasn't cooked. Once I had a good look at it and determined it was cooked , I tried to eat from the outer edges where it was thinner. It was very very bland. On the upside the crinkle fries were good. The way they have the whole restaurant laid out with the ordering station. very close to the people that are waiting for food . crazy a chaotic atmosphere. chicken is done well here. However the restaurant pushes canes sauce which is gross to me. On top of that when you ask for honey mustard (which is a hidden sauce they provide or hot sauce) they give you canes sauce anyways half the time. They had Kamala Harris for president signs all around the property which made me uneasy pulling into an establishment that was so politically influenced. (Chick fil a has always been subtle about their beliefs and is much more welcoming to customers by not advertising political ideals) . Not to mention the chicken breading on the tenders was nearly falling off from every bite and not crispy at all. The French fries were soggy and had zero flavor or salt. The bread was the only decent and delectable part of the meal. However they did have good ice in the drink ...it's the kind that looks like a handful of gravel, but melts fast.
