The Philly Philly cheese steak is excellent...perfect ratio of meat to roll and delicious cooper sharp cheese. I appreciate that the roll is lower profile and does not overwhelm the sandwich. The meat also tastes perfect as in the grill is properly maintained. The staff is always friendly. I would have given a 5 star rating but for the need to keep the place cleaner...been this way for many years but having been many years they should be able to get the cleanliness done right. read more

So far my favors pizza joint in the evesham area....crust is very much like north Jersey pizza which is a good thing, it's properly crispy especially on the Sicilian pie you see in the photo, have also had regular crust pie and excellent as well.. the cheese actually stretches like in any pizza commercial when they pull the slice up vs many pizzas have a more solid cheese layer or worse gooey. Probably THE best (sorry, Vince and Bordentown) calzone I have ever had! It was baked perfectly and had great proportions of mozzerella and ricotta! (I don't use the sauce . . . have to be in the mood for it - with calzones and overall even with pizza). I ate the entire thing (I like to use my hands vs. utensils) and felt dirty in a few ways! afterward. This is my wife's favorite pizza shop around town and my 2nd favorite in our area. The pizza is affordable and Sal's offers many options other than pizza to sink your teeth into: wings, sandwiches, pasta, etc. The pizza is thicker than other shops around town. My wife said the cheese is her favorite part of the pizza because the taste is out of this world. I truly like the coupon incentive as well. Coupons are located on the pizza boxes where you can bring 10 in and receive a free large pizza. We just started cutting them out of the box because Sal's is one of the main pizza shops we order from. The only complaints about Sal's for me is the parking and busy signal from the phone. The busy signal could be viewed as a great thing because the phone is always ringing with orders, but frustrating because we sometimes have to call 25x to get through. The staff has employees on multiple phones when I walk in and they never get a break from them as orders are pouring in. The parking lot is extremely small with other businesses located in the same small building, so parking is almost impossible whenever I come to pickup. I park along the left side by a repair shop on a side road to avoid the congested parking lot. It has worked perfect so far and I will continue to do this. read more

This is an update based on new foods that I have tried. 1) The wings - two different styles. Ask for the Pub Wings - there are your "traditional" wings. The Originals are Breaded/Boneless wings. The Pub wings are SOO crispy. Ask for hot - great flavor. When you get them as carryout/delivery, they put the sauce in a seperate container for you to mix when you eat them - smart! This keeps the wings crispy and refrain from getting soggy. 2) Strombolis. Very good! Great flavors and is more than you could ask for in size. Get the "The Works." read more

Yesterday I ordered 3 pizzas (2 cheese,1 pepperoni). This was my first order from Sal's, since I just moved to the area. Although the cheese pizzas were very good, the pepperoni was extremely oily to the point it was very mushy. Also, it was not cut into slices. Im hoping this is not an example of the food that you serve. I ordered from Sal's because of the recommendations of many of my friends. Always had great food, but the past couple times have been a huge disappointment. They ALWAYS forget either a cheese or dressing or something... and of course it's too late when we find out and we are home. Broccoli on top of the white pizza was crispy (and not a good crispy). Crab fries were gross (but I guess that's what happens when you want fries at home) they ate never crispy . Just bad service and bad food and not just this time. I grew up in Marlton and moved to S.C. for college. Each time I return "home" I must go to Sal's. It's consistent, dependable, great service and food. I've never ordered anything that wasn't delicious. I prefer a pepperoni panzarotti but you can't go wrong with anything on the menu! read more

We ordered last night and had delivery. It was decided they were some of the best cheesesteaks ever. One was with American fried onions and mushrooms, one was a pizza cheesesteak and we also got a 1/2 white pizza. I can't have tomato sauce or spinach and I can tell you the white pizza was the VERY BEST I've ever had! Usually they are salty, this was sooooo good with mushrooms and broccoli. The other half was a regular pizza and it was deemed EXCELLENT! This will be our go-to place from now on. read more
