We ordered a box combo with two Texas toasts instead of coleslaw (it's great that you can do this!) and a sandwich combo, each with an extra sauce and a drink. The sandwich itself was perfect, good amount of sauce and lettuce. It did not come with many fries, though, it usually comes with more. No complaints about the box combo. Our drinks were very watered down. Usually the lemonade is fantastic because they make it in-house. The nugget ice is partly to blame; it melts way faster than larger cubes. Place nice and clean. Staff warm and welcoming. A little crowded at dinner time. Not as crowded as I expect (maybe because of triple digit extreme heat). Food is good. Tender seasoned crunchy battered chicken. Liked the toast that came with it. Ok fries but nothing special about it. Nice and plenty outside patio sitting (perfect with cooler weather). I've eaten their food before & it was so so. Usually the chicken wasn't as crisp as I like it but I was in the mood for chicken & went with it. The chicken looked cooked to perfection. Nice & crispy. The cole slaw is ok. The fries so so. My big beef. It felt like there was something in the batter that felt like tiny chicken bones mixed in with the batter. You would get a crunch but these white things that seem to be little shards of bone were mixed in & wouldn't really break down. They were crunchy but they weren't supposed to be there. When we learned that we'd have a Canes minutes from home we were stocked. Since this location opened we've been going at least once a month and sometimes it's our go to over many other fast food chains. Unfortunately tonight was very disappointing. On parade night with a full house I expected the food to take a while or the place not be as clean etc. but worse was the chicken being fried with burnt oil. I don't know if anyone can corroborate but not only did the chicken smell smoked it tasted a bit off. It wasn't burnt. Still juicy and the color was normal but the smell when I had my sandwich close to my mouth was weird and the after taste too. Literally every bite was the same scent of smoked or burnt just on the chicken not the fries. I'm going to assume they're not fried in the same oil... there's no other explanation. It was too hectic to talk with management on such a busy night... and staff were super overwhelmed as it was. A part of me wanted to just ask the other tables if they felt the same. I've never dined in. Mom and I were hungry after a long day and it was our mini date so we took out defeat and left. Mom reminded me San Bernardino location is always better. First of all, I'm trying to write a review about the store in Yucaipa. For some reason the Raising Cane's Yucaipa is not listed on yelp. So my apologies to Redlands for listing my review here. I went to the Yucaipa store today, 12/04/25 and bought a 4 piece box. The chicken fingers themselves have shrunk dramatically in size. A far cry from when the store first opened. The fries were cold and so was the toast served with the meal. The only thing that wasn't messed up was the drink. Needless to say, I will not be returning. read more

Fist time here. Food was nothing to write home about but what made me furious was we ordered 4 meals. The other 3 came with dipping sauce. Once I got mine it didn't have any and I went up and asked for a sauce. Singular (one) and the loud lady wanted to charge me .40 for a sauce. I asked was the $40 I already paid not enough and she said no and wanted to charge me. Horrible customer experience for my first time. We were on our way to pick up a couple things at Target and noticed Raising Cane's.... yum! we decided to stop for lunch.... it's take out Only...... no problem.... the line was long but the staff handled every aspect so professional.....we gave our order...... She repeated it back to us to make sure she had it correctly... asked for our name....then while paying the young man asked if this order was for "Jan" and then again when we picked up our order they thanked us by "name" they used my name 3 times....amazing.... The employees are super nice and helpful and what can you say about the food! The chicken tenders were hot, crispy and not oily at all. So good! Fries are great crinkle cut and crispy. It was not crowded and plenty of tables to choose from so that was nice. Now the sauce that everyone raves about, I'm not sure because I couldn't really tell if I liked it, I was trying to pin point the seasoning but it's not sweet, it's not spicy but it's ok. First time ever eating at this food chain. I'm going to review as things happened. the place was not busy and it was very loud! Standing 2nd in line to order. Young 15 year old female children behind me. Girl at the counter taking an order was a bit slow so a real rough type of guy came to take orders. He looked at the girls behind Me to take their order. I guess he didn't see a 6 foot woman standing right there in front of those two female children. i was not dressed in shorts with my bottom hanging out and my upper part hanging out like the children behind me. I guess he wasn't interested in taking my order. he took my order and since it was so loud, I had to guess half of the things the guy was saying to me. It would've been nice if he slowed down and articulated his words. We both spoke English so it was not a language barrier. It was just this guy not understanding how to articulate his words and speak to somebody clearly. That's a teaching moment. So i got my soda cup and filled it with Dr Pepper. The drink was missing something. Like they needed to refill something. I walked to the counter and told the slow girl that there was something wrong with the Dr. Pepper. She dumped out my cup and gave it back to me. Guess they aren't interested in taking care of the soda. I finally got my order. The slow girl gave me my order. She yellowed out a name that clearly was not my name and I took the order. I asked her what kind of sauce she gave me. She said I do t know. It's made with catsup. I asked her if I could have a different kind. She says yes. I had to ask what kind she had. Then I just asked if they had honey mustard. She told me I had to pay .98 cents. I said why? She said they are made in house. I don't care where they were made I didn't want the mystery catsup. I paid it. It's about 2 tablespoons of sauce for .98. Got back to the car and tasted the fries. Odd taste they were hot but mushy. Maybe they recooked. Them. My dog wouldn't even eat it. Now what dog doesn't like fries! I tasted the bread. Very very salty. Last but not least the chicken. I liked the chicken. Would I go back...... never. I'll stick with the cow that advertises chicken that's right across the street. I give everything 1 star and chicken a 5. No excuses manager. Teach your people customer service and how to communicate. Remember these kids who work for you don't know how to interact in person with another human. read more
