Very nice quality fast food. I had the 3 pc tender , fries, with Texas toast & a beverage . The Cane's sauce- it's delicious. Has a "peppercorn" flavor. The chicken was moist and a very nice thin crunchy outer coat. Fresh hot thin cut crinkle fries, lightly salted. They serve it with a piece of buttered Texas toasted. I thought the 3 pcs tender, fries & toast were a pretty Large portion. Very generous size. The restaurant was clean and the Chicago Memorabilia is Very Fun Decor. Well done. Love it! Raising Cane's on Harlem Ave in Riverside is a complete joke. They claim to hire 16-year-olds with no experience, but when an applicant actually applies with prior experience and completely open availability, they get rejected for no logical reason. If you're going to put up hiring signs, at least be honest about what you're actually looking for instead of wasting people's time. read more

Food is pretty good, service is really nice, and atmosphere could use a lot of work. To start off, Raising Cane's chicken is delicious andtheir Cane's sauce is out of this world. It's the perfect sauce to pair with their fries, chicken, or toast. The chicken itself is very crispy and super juicy. The french fries are crinkle cut, crispy, and well seasoned with salt. The toast is super soft and . Coleslaw is a little tangy and definitely helps cut down on the savory aspects of the meal. Service is excellent. Staff were friendly, efficient, and helpful. Never Ever Again! This was my first time eating at Raising Cane's, the chicken fingers were soggy it didn't have the texture of fried chicken tenders, it had the textured like baked chicken, with all the good reviews I expected more. The Cole slaw didn't even taste like Cole Slaw it was Nasty. The cost of food has gone up tremendously and I am really tired of wasting my money on bad tasting food. read more

Cane's is my go to once a week... worth the price. You just can't go wrong with tenders, fresh fries & toast!! Add an arnold palmer. Always order an extra sauce. I have waited when the drive thru line loops around twice, service has been quick for the most part. Service inside too, is just as quick even though it is super packed. The gentlemen who walk around and clean also do a good job. I do recommend to check your order every time regardless as they may forget utensils or sauces BUT it's cane's. I will forever eat here. Sorry to hear about some people's bad experiences at Cane's but as someone who grew up eating Cane's, they've never missed! I crave Cane's all the time because they've nailed every single thing they sell (which is probably 4 things). The chicken is always tender and juicy, the fries are a little soft (not crispy), and their lemonade hits different with the classic Cane's pellet ice. Not to mention the signature Cane's sauce and Texas toast which are absolutely bomb. They should open up more locations around Chicago. read more

Got to first window to pay and when I asked the name of the person who took our order, the cashier was hesitant to give us the name and said "I don't know". Seriously? Got to the 2nd window to get our order and had to asked for our sauces that we paid for. Then I asked again for the person's name and once again, hesitant to give. Well this is the first time seeing these raising Cane's all around the Chicagoland area and I finally had a bucket list of trying it. It's pretty good it's not meh but it's not a wow. I just have to give a review I would come over to raising Cane's if they follow consistency since this is a franchise. I ordered the chicken combo which is popular here. The way they cut their chicken tenders is really good texture wise and taste with their thousand Islands dip it that you're supposed to use with the chicken fingers is good. The bread they give you complimentary is almost like eating the texture of a soft garlic bread but there's no garlic in it I assume. They're coleslaw was decent not too vinegary but not to creamy. The least I was impressed was their french fries. It's hard to get four stars but this is a franchise just like Culver's and Wendy's but it's not bad. Here's my confession. I am biased because...... 1.) this restaurant opened it's first location in Louisiana (Baton Rouge) 2.) It is named after a dog (Cane) 3.) It serves Texas Toast (my fav type of bread) 4.) And the restaurant offers packets of Louisiana hot sauce upon request and it is the perfect way to spice up the already delicious Cane's sauce. Now that we have those four reasons out of the way, it is fair to say that Raising Cane's Snack Combo is my preferred drive through fast food eat-at-home meal. I likened my obsession to that of those who LOVE the West Coast In and Out chain. Simplistic menu and made to order fast food. Add to that the chicken fingers are juicy and the crinkle cut fries are about as addictive as Meatheads fries. If you are not a fan of fried chicken fingers, fries, coleslaw, sweet iced tea, lemonade, Texas Toast of fast food, this is not a place you should try. For those who have visited a location in Massachusetts, Nevada, Mississippi or elsewhere, you would probably agree that the chicken tops that of most similarly situated fast food (chicken). Within its class, the quality and freshness of the product is a five, during my visit service was a five (Thanks Mica and Anna) AND I can appreciate as a business there are very few franchises as to ensure the service is up to snuff. The chicken tenders are a good size. The chicken was seasoned very well and you don't have to dip it in the sauce. The sauce is different. It seems to be thousand island with lot of pepper. I liked the chicken without the sauce. The crinkle fries were a bit soggy. Not crunchy as most place with crinkle fries. Sweet tea is not offered anywhere. If you like sweet tea, they have it and I love it. If I didn't like the chicken I would just go back for the tea. Not a bad place to give it a try just once. read more

My daughter and I went for late dinner around 8pm. We got two four piece box combos. When they gave us the bag I noticed there was a slightly burned grease smell but I unfortunately decided to give it the benefit of a doubt and take it home to try it out. The chicken tenders tasted like they had been fried in old dirty and burned grease. The fries tasted like they had been dipped and left to sit in lard. It was disgusting. Needles to say I was extremely dissatisfied. We paid about $25 for the boxes. I wasn't expecting a premium dish but this food was inedible. It was too late to go back out I ended up having tobeating cereal. I would give this place 0 stars if I could. I love Canes. I'm from Boston, where they only have one Cane's at BU. And then I moved to New Orleans, where they have Cane's everywhere. I'm not going to say Cane's is a must for the next place I move to..but... The sauce is what everyone comes here for. My boyfriend and I split the Caniac, and we subbed out the cole slaw (yuck) or more fries (yum!!). We had been looking forward to this meal for so many days, and we were very happy with the result. When I lived in Atlanta, I used to LOVE Zaxbys. This is the next best thing. If I'm not mistaken this is one of the two or three locations that they've put in Chicago. The chicken tenders were hot and had a combination of flavors between Popeye's, and Bojangles hybrid flavor. The crinkle cut fries had that Church's flavor, and the toast pretty much put the icing to the cake, (YUMMY!!!) The combo came with their own special sauce, which I found to be pretty amazing. My kids had the usual fountain drinks (Coca-cola and Sprite) I requested lemomade and told them I only wanted it half filled, because I later added some sweet tea and made my very own Flop!! Everything was as I expected, DELICIOUS. I started talking to the manager and asked it origins of this restaurant and she advised me that it's a company based out of Louisiana, with stores in Illinois, Nevada, Texas, and ONE store in Pensacola, how dissappointing. I'm a little upset and after reading certain reviews that I could have asked for some hot sauce, but it's okay, everything was to my satisfaction. My boyfriend is from Columbus, OH and introduced me to Cane's when we were visiting there. There are multiple locations of Cane's in Columbus and it is excellent drunk food because it's open late. On a whim, I checked earlier this year for a Cane's near Chicago. Imagine my shock to find that not one but two were opening! We planned a trip shortly after and drove 30 minutes to get our Cane's fix. Everyone who is complaining about the food being skimpy - you are doing it wrong. We ordered a Caniac Combo each. That's two Caniac Combos. I repeat TWO combos for TWO people. Six pieces of chicken in each. Definitely sub the slaw for an extra Texas Toast. And if you don't know now you know -- it's ALL about the Cane's sauce. If I see you claim you wish there was BBQ instead of Cane's sauce you need to be slapped. Get. Out. The strips were a little skinny, and a bit bland. Don't hate me for saying that, but they were. However, when I had strips with a bite of the seasoned bread, it was good.
