This is My first time at Raising Cane's. And I am not disappointed. I was a little confused how they only sell chicken fingers... Now it all makes sense! Popped in at almost 9pm on a Wednesday night. (Closing is 10pn) No other dine in guests. Drive through was consistent and the staff was on top of it. The vibe was fun. I loved the disco balls on the ceiling and the good music. It matched me after I sampled my food. I enjoyed reading up on the dreamer, (Todd Graves) who made this chain possible. I'm always looking for motivation and inspiration to achieve my lofty goals. And I found it here. Now ... On to the food review!!! The food is: Bomb. Perfect. Delicious. Best chicken sandwich I ever ate! Fries are perfect. You can choose lemonade or sweet tea. In fact I don't think mine was made fresh; probably why my order came so fast.. Their recommended box ($9.99) includes 4 Fingers, Cole Slaw, Crinkle Fries, a Giant Toast, & a (I think) 16oz drink. For .25 more I got the Arnold Palmer (1/2 Lemonade, 1/2 Sweet Tea). Everything was good except for the fingers. Their famous sauce was way too salty. The ones I've had at their University location was much better. I think whoever made today's batch must have accidentally put too much sodium in the mix. At 12:25pm - Long line drive thru; decided to walk-in; only took me about 5" to walkout with my order. Even their outside attendants said that walk-ins are much faster. It's crazy to me that I spend $96 on five meals and my food gets handed to me in the box it's packed in. I didn't know that I was supposed to pre ask for a bag for 00.21 that's reusable. Which is good to know if I was asked when taking my order. Now I'm unloading the food from my car to my home like I'm unpacking. This was the second time I've tried Raising Cane's at Mililani and I would say that I am much more impressed than the first time. The service was fast and the staff was friendly. I tried the chicken finger and the Texas toast along with the "famous sauce". The chicken fingers were normal, nothing special and the Texas toast was almost like a sweet bread, which I enjoyed. The sauce was also good if you like that peppery taste. All in all, I rate Raising Cane's 3 stars because it wasn't bad, but I was a little underwhelmed. What a welcome addition to the Mililani Area. It's great to know a place where we can get decent Chicken Fingers only a hop,skip, and a jump from where we live. I was very skeptical coming here on opening day but I was pleasantly surprised how quick we got our food. I was told by Security who was manning the traffic that the fastest way to get your food was to just park and do takeout instead of waiting in that drive thru which has more twists and turns than going up to Tantalus. Boy was he right. We waited no longer than 10 minutes to get in and no more than 10 minutes to get out . They had a great system. Popeye's you may need to take pointers from them. As for the food, the draw is definitely the Chicken Fingers. They aren't huge by any means but they were Crunchy, Somewhat Juicy, and Flavorful to say the least. But what really disappointing is the dipping sauce that comes with it. The sauce kind of reminds me of a Creamy Version of Thousand Island Dressing. I'm sorry but I'm more happy with some Ranch or Honey Mustard which I actually used from my extra packets I had from McDonald's at home for dipping and it was amazing. Not sure if they carry Honey Mustard but this is Sauce to use for Chicken Fingers. As for the Crinkle Fries, they were so limp and dead on arrival. Now even Viagra could bring them back to life. I just took one bite and that was a n afterthought. Cole Slaw was really good as well as the Texas Toast. Next time I'll ask for the Fries to be Crispy and hope they have Honey Mustard as an alternative to that horrific sauce. The drive through line was quite long so I parked and went inside. The restaurant is super neat and spacious. Very friendly cashier. My food came out faster than I could fill up my drink! I got the Caniac combo (6 pc + large drink). For $15, not a bad deal since I was able to split this with another person for lunch. I appreciate the vented containers. By the time I got home, the chicken and fries were still crispy! The chicken tasted good (a little dry but not bad) and the sauce was also good! Also impressed that the crinkle fries were still crispy and had a nice flavor. I feel like it's pretty rare to have that in crinkle fries. Texas toast tasted like a hamburger bun to me, didn't find it absolutely necessary since the fries were already really good. The sweet tea was also surprising. For lunch, my dad said he wanted fried chicken. As we're heading out, I remembered Canes in Mililani and said we would still do fried chicken but no bones. I took a wrong turn in the parking lot and ended up having to wait for cross traffic but many of the cars were turning into Canes' drive-thru and by the time cross traffic cleared up, the drive-thru line was lining up outside Canes parking lot. But only two cars parked in the lot, so walk-in it is. As expected due to the shelter-in-place reinstated, all tables and chairs were set aside and booths taped off. Tables are placed in front of each cash register along with plastic guards to protect the employees. A tray is placed on the side of the register and the credit card machine in front of the register for contactless payments to protect the consumer as well as the employee. I guess because of this, cleaning between each customer order is not done. However, I felt safe about not being infected and all other customers wore their masks and did not sound sick. No refills on drinks. As you place your order, you let them know what you want to drink and it is relayed to the employee next to the fountain machine. As other Canes I've been too the restaurant and even restroom appears very clean. Because of the busy lunch crowd, understandably, it took a few minutes longer for my order to be ready. But I still beat those who were in the drive-thru before me. Yay! We drove all the way back to Kapolei to have lunch at home, 22-minutes. Our food was still fresh tasting. My dad said he really liked the chicken and it was nice and soft for him to eat. For me, the chicken strips seem a little smaller to what I've had on the mainland. As expected, prices are a little higher in HI compared to the mainland. All in all, a good experience. Clean restaurant, forgot to mention good customer service, tasty food, smaller chicken fingers, little higher prices earns 3-stars for Raising Canes. read more

Went to the drive through on a Saturday evening. About 10 cars deep but line moved efficiently. This new location drive-through is well designed keeping cars from blocking the driveway. There was outdoor seating If you felt comfortable ordering inside and dining in. Ordered the box combo 4-piece and a sandwich combo. Box combo comes with their toast and coleslaw. The sandwich combo just sandwich and crinkle cut fries. Ordered sweetened tea and lemonade as drinks. Be aware it's $.39 more for the lemonade. Cashier didn't mention it so don't be surprised. This is fast food so not meant to be gourmet. A nice treat on a Sat night to get out of the house with the Mrs. Fair is fair come give this new location a try and see what you think! read more

I was surprised, though, that there is just the one saunce. The Texas toast is good, the fries are okay (crinkle cut but thin), and I don't eat cole slaw. The lemonade is good, the crushed ice is nice. Refreshingly simple menu (the only difference between the combos are the number of chicken fingers). Reasonably priced. Today I went to raising canes with my husband Dave and his childhood friend Jack. Along with his colleague Miqueal. The chicken was very juicy but not as crispy as the Pearl City location. The sauce on the other hand was quite flavorful. It was so good it made me want to drop kick a squirrel. Haha, just kidding! But overall I'd rate it 4/5. No a secret that Raising Canes chickens are my favorite and the flavor and won't change regardless of the location. So I will be reviewing my first time experience dining in to this location and not so much with their menu. This location is conveniently located in a strip mall 10 minutes away from Schofield and Wheeler, easy access from the major roads around Mililani and Wahiawa. This location obviously has a drive thru while it only has one lane, it wraps around the store allowing more cars to access the drive thru. It also has plenty of parking or dine in or pick up. As soon as I entered the store, the front counter staff greeted me, I almost missed it, as I was amazed with how the inside looked so neat and clean. The order taker paid so close attention while I was giving her my order. I ordered the 6 fingers meal, and yes do not judge me- I ate it all. I was gonna take it to work, but I ended up dining in and easily secured me a good spot to eat my meal. Much appreciation to the Staff who came and asked me if everything was ok, making sure my order met my expectation. I call that above and beyond customer service. In short, it was a pleasure eating here, and I will come back for more lunches. This location actually was referred by my coworker on base who said this location is better than the one on post. But the sauce they slather in the sandwich is the lifesaver of the sandwich, it's the same sauce they give with all the combos if you get the chicken strips. Unfortunately the ratio of sauce is uneven, so you'll get some bland bites and some with too much sauce that overpowers the bite. The Krinkle fries are skinny, so I was amazed how I got some that were undercooked! Coleslaw had a roller coaster of flavors of acid, sweet and a strange aftertaste.
