Recently though, after the ownership change, I became disappointed because instead of the delicious teriyaki sauce in the little takeout containers, we were only given salty soy sauce packets and chili sauce packets. It completely changed the experience for me, and honestly made me not want to come back. I finally decided to call and speak with Bob. I explained how much we missed the original teriyaki sauce and how the portions had started feeling skimpy compared to the past. Bob was wonderful. He listened, cared, and simply said, "I got you. I'll take care of you." And wow....he absolutely did. The steak and teriyaki chicken bowl I received was one of the best I've ever had from Top Grill. The portions were generous again, the food was fresh and flavorful, and that delicious teriyaki sauce was back! My husband loved his chicken bowl too. However, they clean the grill at unannounced and unlisted hours, practically rendering the restaurant being closed for 2 hours--so you can never really count on them being open 24 hours, despite that being advertised. Despite that being a point of convenience for people like myself that work all day and this being one of the only few places 'open' super late. Count on your off-hours being their off-hours too. The only thing you should count on coming to this location is that you'll be done wrong in one way or another. And one last thing, you'd think your order would be correct after sitting on the counter unchecked for so long, but you'd be wrong. COUNT on something being incorrect, and always check it. With the mobile order line having to merge at the window you can easily go from third in line to 5th or 7th, which can lead to cold food. They need to keep the mobile order line completely separate or only have them do curbside pickup.

I understand that this may be store policy; however, the interaction felt lacking in consideration. Even if the policy couldn't be adjusted, a bit more kindness or acknowledgment of the inconvenience would have gone a long way. Instead, I was left to manage a large order on my own without assistance. I hope future situations like this can be handled with more empathy and customer care.
