I could honestly write a novel about how much I appreciate and respect him! Dr. Lo respected my decision to avoid opioid medication and thoughtfully recommended alternative treatments for my back pain. Eventually, the cause of my pain was identified as a birth defect requiring surgery, and his guidance throughout this journey has been invaluable. The entire staff at this office is knowledgeable and supportive. They always respond promptly to MyChart messages or phone calls, and I'm consistently seen on time. On the rare occasions when delays arise due to circumstances beyond their control, they always communicate updates about wait times. I've never felt unwelcome or like a nuisance while at the office--it's truly a warm and professional environment. Dr. Lo now has Ryan, PA, assisting him with patients, and he's a fantastic addition to the team. Like Dr. Lo, Ryan is empathetic, approachable, and equally committed to providing excellent care. I strongly believe in the idea that "you get what you give out to the world", and this office is proof of that. Dr. Lo, Ryan, and the staff exude positive and caring energy because they genuinely care. I'm so grateful for the amazing care I receive here!

Dr Lo and his staff, Gabby, Julia, and the rest of the team are not only professional but actually care about me as a human being. He has several options that all work together to not only help relieve pain but working to make me stronger with better mobility. His concern is genuine as is his teams and from someone who doesn't like doctors this is high praise. Highly recommended Dr Tony Lo

I honestly wonder why some people go into the medical field. You REALLY don't have to. I promise. I…read moregot my time wasted today while in EXCRUCIATING PAIN with my left hand. Literally out of nowhere, my hand began hurting Friday afternoon. By Sunday morning, I could barely move my ring finger. The pain? 8.5 out of 10. I have an EXTREMELY high pain tolerance level, which I alert anyone medical I'm dealing with to immediately. After going to urgent care yesterday, I was referred to Dr. Blumenthal because she's supposedly a hand specialist. An X-ray was taken of my hand at urgent care & there's some sort of fragment between the bones of my middle & ring fingers. It could be bone, a growth, or a cyst.. a tumor whatever. An X-ray can just see it, not diagnose it. At urgent, they gave me a very nice, snug wrap, and my referral/ X-ray results in prep for today. So fine. I see THIS doctor today. Her nurse comes in and takes off the wrap... SKYROCKETING my pain to a nearly unbearable level... & says, "Were going to get you a new dressing." Tosses my new wrap in the garbage, then leaves the room for like 15 min. Y'all... I'M IN AGONY. Finally, this Dr. comes in and asks what happened to my hand. I explained that I had no idea. I haven't hit it, nor is there anything that I'm aware of that caused it. My hand is swollen & and hurts, but literally NOTHING has happened. This woman just stared at me, then grabbed my hand & and stared, pressing on the swollen area. I tell her it's excruciating... she keeps fucking pressing, while staring at me like the goddamm Night King on Game of Thrones. Then asks me again what happened to my hand. I said I didn't know. She leaves. A few min later, she comes back and says "Its just VERY unusual to have something come from nothing." She keeps staring. I could tell she DIDN'T BELIEVE ME. Why? Why would it benefit me to lie about it!? Make that make sense! She then asked if I were bit by a dog or cat or if i just slept weird?! Bitch... would'nt you see puncture wounds, ma'am?! There isn't any evidence of a bite from anything... and my X-ray shows something between my bones. Y'all.. she COMPLETELY DISMISSED me. She basically said she didn't know... and was quite cold in her demeanor. She referred me downstairs for a CT scan and just kept it moving. I said... may I have a pain Rx? Motrin isn't helping... She said to just take Tylenol & that she couldn't prescribe anything more because she didn't know why I was having pain?! I asked about my wrap... she opened the trash and there it was.. all surrounded by gross tissues & cotton balls covered with God knows what. She then pulls out a HUGE bandage that is for knees & WRAPS MY WRIST. The pain is my hand... not my wrist. I just can't even. I'm not a big crier, which can make people think you're faking, I guess? ESPECIALLY with the "strong black woman" trope. Because of that, often our medical pain gets dismissed... often to our detriment or death. This is a WELL DOCUMENTED medical pain bias that people who like me face. If you're in pain & look like me? Go see someone else. She doesn't care. Terrible.

Dr. Travis R. Ladner is a true miracle worker. My…read morehusband is a senior. He had Scoliosis of the entire spine. This caused him to hunch over. He developed a "hunchback." Our primary considerations going into surgery were two-fold: (1) Would he survive the surgery considering his age? (2) What were the chances the surgery would cause paralysis? It was scary to consider. After much prayer and consideration, my husband opted for the surgery. He had extensive spine surgery at the end of April 2026. His entire spine, from top to bottom, had to be straightened. Without a doubt it was gruelling work. His surgery went from 9 to 12 hours because of its complexity. We can't imagine Dr. Ladner's exhaustion after such intricate and extensive work on a patient for 12 straight hours. Today, let me declare unequivocally that Dr. Travis R. Ladner is truly one of the best surgeons in the country - if not THE BEST. To us, he was and is a Godsend. Here we are around 3 months later. My husband has just about made a full recovery. Family, friends, medical practitioners and other doctors are astonished at the surgery and at my husband's quick recovery. My brother, who has worked as a Physical Therapist for over 30 years, says he's never known of, much less met anyone, who has had my huband's full-spine surgery. Would we do it all over again with Dr. Lader? Heck, yes. In addition to his skill, deep knowledge and unique talent, Dr. Ladner has a warm and reassuring attitude/bedside manner with undivided attention, respect, and genuine care from one human being to another. We LOVE Dr. Ladner and are ever grateful to him for what he has done. Jackie-the-Critic gives Travis R. Ladner M.D. 5 stars & beyond - so does her husband.
