I honestly researched rhinoplasty surgeons for almost 4 years before choosing Dr. Raj Kanodia. I researched surgeons all over Beverly Hills and even Europe, and in my opinion, there is nobody better than Dr. Kanodia. What I personally love most about his work is that his rhinoplasties NEVER look fake, overdone, "Mickey Mouse," "Pinocchio," overly pointy, or like those copy-paste "princess noses" you see everywhere nowadays. So many surgeons create noses where you can immediately tell someone had work done. For me, that is not good plastic surgery. The best cosmetic work is when you still look like YOU. Your face stays harmonious, natural, elegant, and refined - just an improved version of yourself. Less is more! When nobody can tell you had surgery, THAT is the sign of a truly talented surgeon. Dr. Kanodia works with such finesse, precision, and respect for the natural anatomy of the nose. That is exactly why his recoveries are so much easier and results so beautiful and natural-looking. I had almost no pain at all, I didn't even take Tylenol once, and by day 7 I had absolutely ZERO bruising. My swelling was incredibly minimal, and I have absolutely no breathing problems whatsoever. Before surgery, I had a previous nose trauma that made my nose slightly bent to the left. Dr. Kanodia corrected it beautifully while still keeping my identity completely intact. My bridge is now a little narrower, my nose overall smaller and more refined, the tip more elegant, and my nose is finally straight - yet I still look completely like myself. Nobody can tell I had rhinoplasty because the result looks SO natural. For the first time in my life, I truly love what I see in the mirror. I finally look the way I always imagined myself in my head. I feel more feminine, classy, refined, elegant, and confident - while still feeling 100% like ME. Honestly, I am on cloud nine from happiness that I was brave enough to do this. Rhinoplasty absolutely requires courage and complete trust in your surgeon, because you are trusting someone with your face and confidence. I'm beyond grateful that I trusted Dr. Kanodia. Now I speak about my experience with so much happiness and excitement to my girlfriends, and I fully support anyone who has something about themselves they genuinely wish to improve - whether it's their nose or anything else. If I could rate this man lower I would. This is one of the most arrogant, childish, pathetic humans that you will ever come across in your life. I had read some awful reviews highlighting the horrendous nature of this charlatan, but in person, he is truly astonishing. Being told that I should research him and that he doesn't need to waste time answering questions is amazing. But I put all to one side thinking this is probably how people are when they deal with celebs. But the clunky hash job he performed on my nose has left me utterly disappointed and practically penniless. Dr. Kanodia has changed my life for the better. Once I discovered that Dr. Kanodia performs septorhinoplasties using a closed method, I knew instantly that I wanted him to perform my procedure. I truly wouldn't trust anyone else to touch my face. I am about 3 weeks post op, and can confidently say that Dr. Kanodia gave me the exact nose I wanted, with regard to both cosmetics and functionality. Dr. Kanodia actually discovered that I broke my nose years ago (which I was unaware of!) and placed my nose back into its intended shape and position. After my procedure I can finally breathe! I realized i left a google review but never one on yelp. After 3 years, I've recommended Dr Kanodia so many times and I just happened to come across the yelp reviews when I was sharing his website with the latest person to ask me who did my daughter's nose. I feel compelled to write a review to counter any possible negative thing that has been said here. If you truly want the nose that is perfect for your face, this is the guy. I can't even estimate the countless number of people who have told me how drop dead gorgeous my daughter looks after her nose job 3 years ago. She was pretty before, but he refined her nose in such a way that it looks natural, compliments her other features, and just makes her look beautiful. She constantly says it was the best decision she ever made in her life going to Dr Kanodia. If I had to guess, the people who left negative reviews here probably came into the office with their own ideas of what they wanted. I think the only thing that is a bit required here is deference to a doctor who has done so, so many noses that he knows exactly what he's doing. There were no fancy mock ups ahead of time, it was a bit of a leap of faith, but in the end it was completely warranted. So, maybe don't expect that the Dr wants you to design your own nose. Every nose is his artistic work and it's not really meant to be a collaborative effort. But if you are willing to put your nose in his hands, I can attest that it was absolutely the best thing we did. Worth every penny, he deserves his reputation. By the way, my daughter is not an influencer or celebrity. She was like every other 18 year old girl coming in for a consult. We paid full price and I get nothing for writing this or any review. I honestly don't know where to begin. This was my first ever surgery, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience in terms of the environment, cleanliness, and professionalism. As nervous as I was, Dr. Kanodia's staff patiently guided me through every step and answered my endless questions with understanding and care. I had spent three years searching for the right plastic surgeon, and every doctor I came across seemed to make noses look the same. Dr. Kanodia, however, is different he truly preserves the unique character and integrity of each patient's nose. RUDE, COLD AND ARROGANT!!!!! I had a consultation with Dr Kanodia. I was asking questions about fillers, I had concerns/worries about it, but he didn't want to answer my concerns.. He literally said "I don't talk to you", while pressing the button of the chair I was sitting on, to bring the chair down as a way to signal our consultation was over. I was shocked and simply said "Ok", and knew I wasn't going to do any kind of treatments with him or his nurses. It was a very awkward moment as his staff also stayed silent, and waited for him to leave the room before talking to me and bringing me back to the lobby. He was rude, cold and arrogant, as if he didn't want to have me as a client... It's hilarious when I look at his Instagram videos of him being all nice and sweet to whoever he's injecting... It seems that you need to be a celebrity or influencer who promotes him to be treated decently!!! He only shows his best behavior when the cameras are on!!! I was nice and polite during the whole time. I couldn't understand his reaction and icy demeanor, and I left confused. This a no-brainer: Dr kanodia is indisputably the best nasal surgeon in the world. He is a true artist, who has mastered his craft, and artfully manages all aspects of the procedure himself. And his staff and office are just as great- compassionate, reassuring, and kind. I'll give you an example. A week after my surgery, I coincidentally met a woman while in LA with my cast on and we got to talking. Her daughter had surgery by a "famous celebrity doctor" on the same day I did (a week prior to our meeting). In that time, her daughter hadn't been able to eat, sleep, could barely move following her procedure, and was still bleeding. She could not get over the fact that I looked completely normal with hardly a trace of surgery, hardly bled at all, while her poor daughter was so ill and appeared to be weeks behind me. I traveled from New York two times and spent two weeks in California recovering. I waited a long time to have rhino plastic surgery. I will not recommend him and I believe there are a lot of better doctors out there. I bought a package of three Morpheus8 treatments. It's been 6 weeks from my first session; one of the vertical fine lines on my upper lip has already disappeared and my jawline feels remarkably tighter. I can't wait for the full effect after I've done all three treatments! Like most people, I've gotten Botox at a variety of places from med spas to plastic surgeons. I can tell you that Dr. Kanodia is an expert at Botox. I can move my face naturally but don't get lines. He's a very gentle injector and I don't leave red and bumpy like I have from other places. Hello there friends of plastic surgery, I hadn't thought of Dr. Raj Kanodia since my experience with a consultation in 2015 until I received this email moments ago about reviewing my experience there. (See pic) So grateful now to have been reminded to write a review. Here goes... my lady and gentlemen friends I had heard greatness about this doctor in looking for a rhinoplasty surgeon. All of my friends told me that this was the place to go. That said, I traveled from Santa Ines California to Beverly Hills which is about a 3 Hour Dr. on a Friday morning, to meet with this doctor. Upon arrival I was told that there is a consult fee of $200. I asked if this would be applied toward any surgeries should I choose this doctor. "No" explained the receptionist, "I'm sorry, it will not." Do you know that little voice inside of you that says don't do it just turn around and walk out the door there's got to be another way, Yeah, well, I didn't listen to that voice. Instead of embarrassing myself I paid up the money and sat down, mulling over the misery of laying out $200 towards a budgeted surgery, that I will never see again. After 45 minutes of waiting in a pact reception area my name was called. I was led to a room and sat down. A gentleman walked in about 20 minutes later and it was Dr. Raj Kanodia, Bare feet and white linen flowing yoga layers I thought we were about position ourselves into a downward dog by the looks of him. He said nothing to me, simply looked at my face, I got nervous and started asking rapid fire questions as though my time was going to be limited with this guy and he dismissed my questions. He sternly outlined what he was going to do to my nose. Mind you, I have never had any surgery done to my body ever and I was terrified about this. Bedside manner from doctors,nurses, anastesologist etc., in the care of me, is imperative. This man was arrogant,rude ,dismissive, bully, silent scorned and incredibly passive aggressive. It appears by the pictures above that unless you're a scarlet you are treated like, oh, I don't know, your life doesn't matter and the ugliest person on the planet? I left there feeling worse about the way I looked then when I walked in and nobody can make me feel worse than I can, but he definitely won that round. Thankfully I was able to find a local doctor in Santa Barbara by the name of Doctor Gregory Keller who practices the same exact kind of surgery that does not leave scars in and around your face for a rhinoplasty. And in fact he was able to take care of my surgery by entering the nasal passages. I am so grateful for Dr. Keller and ironically for my experience with Dr. Raj. All I can say is Wow! Dr. Kanodia is the best, and I mean that. I got my nose done almost two weeks ago and I am over the moon with the results. I always did not like my nose, but never seemed to find the right doctor. Either the doctors work was very repetitive, in the means that they had a "look" to their nose jobs. Several of the noses looked fake as well. Dr. Kanodia is no where near that. Every nose of his looks different because he is not changing his patients noses, he is refining them. I'd give 0 stars if I could. TERRIBLE service! I came to see Dr Kanodia to get his take on how can I get my facial scars fixed, paid $200 for a consultation, only for him to take a look at my face and say that he doesn't know what to do (!!!). And that's after a long wait as well. Just to be clear, we're talking about two little scars, nothing crazy! I've already been getting hyaluronic injections to smooth out scars surface at another doctor's, but wasn't 100% happy with the result, so I was just wondering if there's an alternative or if Dr Kanodia can do the same procedure, but maybe using different filler. They didn't offer a refund and didn't even suggest to apply the fee towards any other procedure. $200 for absolutely NOTHING, only wasted my time. Very disappointing. When I had my follow up, I asked him to redo, but he refused, saying we could fix how crooked it was with fillers. He then injected me (and boy are his hands rough)..and left a HUGE LUMP on my nose! I got my money back for the filler, but not for the half done job on my nose. The worst part is that his ego doesn't allow him to take any responsabilty for his mistakes, and he will just throw them back at you deflecting the blame, making you feel terrible. On the day of surgery I asked to see him before I went under the knife to touch base and make sure we were on the same page. Although his staff (albeit briskly) said no problem they would make sure he'd come talk to me and gave me a pill to help me relax - the next thing I remember is waking up with the procedure finished. A week later my cast was removed to find a crooked nose and a bump on it. I had neither of these problems going in. Do not go. Avoid this doctor at all costs. In addition he is arrogant and rude. Dr. Kanodia has the most beautiful, well-manicured artist's hands that fine-tuned my nose to fit my face. He straightened my "hump the wonder bump" nose, told me I had "beautiful nostrils", so he did not want to touch those, and mentioned he wanted to remove "just a tiny bit" of the bulbous part of my nose. He took profile shots of my nose, then showed me what he would do, and then showed me what the finished project would like. He was 100% professional, kind, hospitable, and made me feel like I was in great hands and I was. My mother, a R.N., had flown in from Austin, Tx to care for me post-op and Dr. Kanodia treated her as if she were his own mother. He recommended places for her to eat and things to do while I was "under". My mom and I loved Dr. Kanodia, his staff, and how beautifully my surgery went and the fantastic results. I was elated! Now, 27 years later, my nose still looks amazing. I may need an updated septoplasty, as living here in Austin has created horrible allergy issues and my right septum appears to be slightly deviated again. I have reached a point where I feel this review is necessary to save someone else from a botched rhinoplasty. I mean Dr. Kanodia is not as rude as everyone has said in the other reviews but he does brush off a lot of things that he has done to you. My nose has come out extremely crooked to the point where multiple of my friends and family members point it out to me. Not only Is my nose crooked but I also now have a bump at the tip of my nose and I still have a bump that he didn't shave down enough on my bridge. I went to follow ups with the Dr. and he told me it's just swollen. He told me I need to inject my nose with cortisone which he injected me with on two different follow ups ONLY for me to find out that he was just injecting an area that was extra cartilage that needs surgery to fix. He kept telling me that if the bumps don't go down we would consider him redoing my surgery if the cortisone didn't help. After the second cortisone injection he told me I need surgery but that he did not know how to perform the surgery without making my nose look pinched. He then told me that he'll refer me to another doctor which I will have to pay for another rhinoplasty. At this point he told me he will call me back in a week after he spoke with the dr. He wanted to refer me to. He never called back! And in fact I called him back and the receptionist on the phone said he's to busy to talk to me. Months later and no calls back. I have since gone to consults with two ENT specialists and they both told me that my nose has no support and that I have a collapsed valve and I still have a deviated septum. Raj Kanodia completely botched my nose. Stay away!!! As you can see from the photos, he made my nose long and it looked like a slope. I told him I wanted it small and straight, but that is not what I got. Not to mention he was arrogant and horrible bedside manner. The tip was also botched as you can see by the bumpy cartilage. I had to get two revision surgeries, which cost me 20k, to fix the mess that Raj Kanodia left me with. Absolutely horrific! I highly recommend Beverly Hills Profiles instead. They fixed my nose and i'm finally happy with how it looks. Don't go to Raj and risk your nose looking horrible like mine did! read more

I know there are some bad reviews... Here is the truth!!! Dr. Kanodia is a brilliant surgeon! His bedside manner can at times be short and most successful doctors are the same way. He delivers perfection in the procedure. I prefer a great surgeon rather than a hand holder. If he wasn't the best then why do doctors from all over the world visit his operating room to observe him and learn from him. ... I love my nose 20 plus years later and no one knows I did it. Nurse Karla did my botox and I am absolutely thrilled. She was so kind and made me feel super comfortable. I was scared because I'm honestly terrified for needles, I don't have any tattoos and typically take a wholistic approach to life. Raj Kanodia is seriously the best nose doctor around! I am so so happy with my rhinoplasty! I am a week and a half post op and have no pain and bruising. The recovery was so easy. I've wanted to get my nose done since I was in high school to remove the bump on my nose and also to fix my breathing after a few cheer injuries to my face that sent me to the hospital. I knew no one else could really notice but it always bothered me & affected my confidence. I was so scared that it wouldn't look like me anymore if I had one done though that I kept putting it off, but then after my consultation with Raj I felt in such safe hands and knew he came highly recommended for doing such a natural job. My experience at Dr Kanodia's office was great ! Karla was my injection nurse. She was VERY knowledgeable and thorough. I decided to have a laser treatment a few weeks after . I decided on the Fractora laser for tightening. Minimal discomfort. WOW ! it's been only 2 weeks and what a difference. And I am told as a little more time passes it gets better.
