Nice Have tried Schezwan gobi fried rice, eggless cakes, eggless breads, mango falooda and were good

3.5 stars for the food. Will probably stick to getting snacks, pastries and sweets from here. We tried Hyderabadi chicken biriyani, chicken Manchuria. Chicken manchurian was good- juicy, succulent chicken, prepared fresh. Biriyani- biriyani was decent-ish. Not hyderabadi biriyani for sure. Didn't have the yogurt marinated chicken or spices that makes it quintessentially hyderabadi.

Great spot for Indian baked goods and snacks. Everything tasted fresh, and there's a really nice variety -- from savory items to sweets -- so it's easy to find something you'll enjoy. I personally love the puffs and the chocolate cake. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Good food and great ambience. Owner was very friendly and we offered our honest feedback about the homely food that we enjoyed . Felt like we were in Bangalore. Had the Akki roti and veg kurma as well as Set dosa with Chicken kurma. Food came out quick , Had masala chai afterwards . No complaints.

This is what they show online and what they make you think you will get!!

I usually go with my regular bakery and order cakes yearly for birthdays! This year I decided to try something new and ordered a cake from Rajarani!! This was the worse decision ever...first of all you don't get the cake displayed online it's all false advertising!!! Then when I picked up the cake I ask why it's so different and no one can answer that?! I already had paid the day before when I called to pre order the cake and wasn't even offered a refund or something to replace it with.. I specifically ask about the cake and informed the bakery for how many people I needed a cake for plus was assured I was buying what I was looking at online !!! I showed up at the birthday of 10 plus people with the smallest ugliest cake ever!! "I WAS SO EMBARRASSED" NEVER WOULD I RECOMMEND THIS CAKE PLACE TO ANYONE!!

***USP: South Indian style bakery also serving several popular Indian dishes like chaat, indo Chinese and biryanis. ***AMBIANCE: this is bakery cum restaurant. The few tables are placed along side the display counters and can get crowded during rush hour. The display counters are stocked up with several varieties of Indian style cakes like black forest, pineapple etc. They also have several Indian style snacks on the shelves lining the walls. ***FOOD: the menu is very expansive and hence it's obvious that some items might be outstanding while others not so much. We got a lot of dishes to share like Vijaywada chicken biryani, egg fried rice, Hakka noodles, chilli chicken, bhel puri and masala puri. Apparently the masala puri is one of their most popular items and it didn't disappoint. The bhel puri on the other hand was lackluster. The vijaywada chicken biryani was the best dish we had. Looks like they use ample food coloring across their dishes though. The fried rice and noodles were reminiscent of the street vendor style from India. The saltiness can be dialed down a notch.

I came here once to try their pastries, and they were good. I got the black forest and mango-flavored cakes along with a coconut bun. Each of the items tasted good. Intrigued by the vast range of items on their restaurant menu, I decided to stop by again. This time I ordered appam with fish curry and an egg puff. The items were a miss this time. The appam was folded in half and packed, and the two sides ended up sticking to each other. It tasted more like an undercooked dosa than an appam. The fish curry was ok. The egg puff tasted stale. Needless to say, I'll stick to just the bakery items if I ever return here.

We came here specifically to try the Bangalore masala puri since very few places offer it. Overall experience was decent, it feels like very typical bakery in India with lots of snacks everywhere. The food was decent, nothing memorable but not bad. The masala puri was a good taste, but not the most authentic. The avocado bhel was good. We wanted to get a Bombay sandwich and ordered the masala aloo sandwich and it was too much potato, we should've asked which sandwich is the typical Bombay sandwich so that's on us. They also have a lot of cakes and pastries. Tasted the triple chocolate cake and it was good. Will be back just for the masala puri when we crave it.

*Vegetarian Foodie Review* As soon as we walked in, this place totally felt like your typical Indian bakery (ambiance) - the kind of spot where you just pop in to grab some standard bakery goodies. We were hungry so decided to dine in and try few things below. - Veg Puff - 3/5: Curry filling inside tasted average. Puff itself was baked well. - Egg Puff - 4/5: My husband said it was the best he ever had! - Chocolate Truffle Pastry - 3/5: I tried this bakery's chocolate cake because I loved it at a friend's baby shower. But when I had it at the bakery, it was rock-hard. The owner said people usually microwave it, so he brought out a microwaved slice, but it was even worse - the filling was burnt. Doesn't seem like they're freezing or storing it right, and the texture is way off. However, the taste itself was amazing. - Veg Fried rice - 4/5: It was not the typical fried rice, tasted unique and the fried cauliflower added a cool twist. They have savory snacks and sweets for purchase. We purchased Puffs. Will definitely be back to grab some cake slices and try them a little later at room temperature. Hoping it will make a difference and we get to experience the real flavor!

Loved the masala puri and chicken donne biryani at Raja Rani Bakery. Tastes really close to the Bangalore versions. Service is quick too. Such a satisfying spot.

Egg-free bakery heaven! Tons of options, all super delicious . Prices are on higher side . Casual cafe like tight seating. Pastries were good . Tikki was also great. Paneer bhurji sandwich was ok. Still, worth a visit if you're craving something sweet egg-free. Try their Rose tres leches cake. Mm Update : I ordered the rose tres leches cake over the phone. It was one of the best eggfree cakes in the bay area. It was highlight of the party. Very delicious, soft and spongy we can taste the flavour through out the cake . Thanks to Raja Rani Bakery. Worth the money.

As you enter this place, you are greeted with the display counters which are lined with colorful pastries, savoury puffs & regional snacks, creating a warm, homely vibe. Highlights are : 1. Basket Chaat 2. Rasmalai Tresleches 3. Sandwiches which come with amazing potato fries 4. Different types of Puffs - Veg / Non Veg 5. Eggless Cake & Pastries Their packaging is top tier for take out orders and their menu has a wide range of chaats, Indo-Chinese dishes, Mumbai sandwiches, bakery classics and even mini thalis offering a versatile culinary experience

Each bite was delicious, everything tasted freshly baked and made, and I especially loved that the pastries weren't overly sweet. Although we enjoyed eating the tower from top to bottom, next time we would probably go from bottom to top since we like to save our sweets for last! Of course, we couldn't leave without getting more pastries to bring home. They have plenty of classic pastries, like croissants, along with more unique specialties, like their croissant cube. Everything looked and tasted so fresh, with that perfect flaky, crackly texture. The pastries are a little pricey for bakery items, but in my opinion, they're definitely worth it for the quality and freshness. The space feels super cozy and service was friendly. They even mentioned their Burnt Almond Cake has always been their bestseller. First bite tasted heavenly. This had more stronger almond and Italian rum flavor and I was pleasantly surprised by the sugared almond slivers coating. The custard was absolutely generous, creamy, and divine. I'd say Peter's Bakery is more traditional, but more fluffier while Sugar Butter Flour has a more modern twist and is slightly sweeter. Their version definitely has more custard, which I personally enjoy... but this may be too sweet for the older Asian parents family. I'd love to come back to try their cookies and other pastries next time. Their Burnt Almond Cake is to die for and would love to buy another one when I'm in the area. We called in and the worker confirmed there are supposed to be two layers of custard in the Burnt Almond and advised me to email the owner so they could make it right. Look at the next photo. How do you as an owner - instead of simply admitting this was a rushed, dry, and unleveled cake - tell me in one message that the recipe changed because other customers had been complaining about too much custard but that you would be returning back to the original recipe? What am I, 5 years old? I usually get the same item at Basquia Bakery: Korokke, a Korean style fried bread with a crispy panko exterior, filled with savory mash potatoes. For $3, it's a good deal for a snack. Some of Basquia Bakery's baked goods are not labeled so I would have totally overlooked their Korean mochi bread if it weren't for TikTok. Last fall, Korean sweet potato mochi bread (goguma ppang) went viral. For months, the commercial frozen ones were sold out at Korean markets. The supply has since been replenished (along with frozen kimbap) but if you can't commit to an entire bag like myself, then this is for you. Plus, this may be the only bakery in NorCal selling freshly made Korean mochi bread. M E N U Along with mochi bread, Basquia Bakery sells cakes (slice + whole), roll cakes, fruit tarts, cream puffs, bread, buns, k corn dogs, etc. For drinks, they have non-caffeinated lattes (e.g. black sesame and beer). M O C H I B R E A D Available in pairs ($4) or a variety box of the five flavors ($9). I went with the latter. Visited Saturday morning around 9:45 am and the had about a 50% supply left. Can we talk about how adorable these are?! The mochi bread is shaped based on their flavors. The mochi "bread" is mochi with a chewy exterior filled with a mashed filling. This is my personal preference but I like mochi that has more of an elastic, bouncy QQ chew which this didn't quite have. The texture did improve after air-frying the leftovers. Flavors: * Sweet Potato // 4 stars Looks and tastes exactly like the real deal with sweet, fluffy mashed interior but hits different with the slight gelatinous chew. Tip: Eat this with kimchi. It's adds a delicious tang and heat to contrast the natural sweetness. * Corn // 4 stars Enjoyed the creamy corn filling with kernels for texture. * Potato // 4 stars Savory, creamy mashed potatoes. I wanted to pair this with a steak. Lol. * Chestnut // 4 stars I love roasted chestnut but this has cinnamony, chocolatey notes from the dusting of cocoa powder + cinnamon. There were chunks of roasted chestnut. * Kabocha // 3 stars Again, tasted like the real deal but too sweet for me. Overall, glad I tried this cute novelty at Basquia Bakery. I'm now convinced to buy a bag of the commercial frozen ones, yanno for taste test comparison purposes. ;)

When we've brought it to social gatherings in the past, it's also always a hit. Their other desserts, like their lemon bars, french napoleon, and turtle cheesecake, are also major hits. So when it was time for my wedding, I knew I had to get my cake from them! It was a wonderful experience from start to finish. They offer cake tasting boxes that include their most popular flavors. However, we had a specific taste profile in mind and asked if they could custom make the samples for us - they said yes without hesitation and didn't charge us extra! The samples were delicious and the pickup process was easy. We went with a ribbon cake (chocolate and vanilla) with fresh strawberries, whipped cream filling, and vanilla buttercream frosting. I also had a very specific vision for my wedding cake - I wanted a detailed three-tier cake with buttercream vintage flowers. We also ordered a plain sheet cake with the same flavors to ensure that we had enough slices for our guests. I worked with Fariba during the ordering process and they were great. I am truly still SHOCKED at how beautiful the cake was and how it matched the inspo photo perfectly. It was a showstopper and extremely delicious. See the photo for details! It was covered in chocolate and filled with custard, and it was just the right sweetness and not too sweet. The size was pleasing, and the custard filling was good. It was a 3-layer vanilla cake filled with lemon mousse, covered in buttercream and white chocolate bark pieces, and topped with 10 blueberries. This flavor can be found on their website catalog. I don't know if this is typical for this bakery, but the cake was heavy, claggy on the bottom, and way too sweet. The lemon mousse tasted incredibly strange, as if it were artificial or maybe had some kind of herb or weird flavoring added. The less said about the cream, the better. The white chocolate was quite good though. I saw they had a wide variety of cake offerings, but I don't think I'd want cake from here again. I might get the choux pastry again.

They are located in the small plaza with the Firestone tires.I tried: [https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=4F_GkBMNfdIOMDH_NQ8pBg&userid=76vIFZcC7owykCBjMfGVXg, https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=cwKpJY_YulaytMoDAqYeyg&userid=76vIFZcC7owykCBjMfGVXg] -Matcha Roll Cake w/Red Bean Filling: I liked the matcha flavor, which was strong but not overpowering. However, the cake was a bit dry, and the red bean in the filling was undercooked and on the hard side. I liked how light the cake was, and the whipped cream filling, and likely came on an off day. -Chocolate Roll Cake w/Pudding Filling: The chocolate cake was more moist than the matcha, and I liked the chocolate flavor, which was present but not too strong. The pudding and whipped cream filling were good, but I didn't think they quite went with the chocolate cake. All the ingredients seemed very fresh and quality, and I would come back to give their fruit desserts a try. No seating is available. Parking was easy to find since this small plaza had plenty of spots.

The bread is top tier and the food is fresh, light, and delicious. The service is fine and the place has lots of seating. You kind of have to know what you're doing when you get there (what things come with each plate, to serve yourself your own tea if you get a meal that comes with it, etc) because they don't really explain anything to you. However the food was so delicious so we will definitely be coming again.

Most people were there to eat, but some folks were doing work on their laptop. You place your order first and then find a table in the seating area. After we ordered, we realized there was complimentary self-serve tea in the seating room. My fiance and I ordered the Nagoya special with shakshuka, a cappuccino, an iced mocha, and a pistachio baklava. The coffee was pretty standard, so next time we will just enjoy their tea. It took about 5-10 minutes for our food to come out. The menu says the special is for 2 people, but we had trouble finishing everything. You could probably share this with 4-5 people. Our favorite thing was the beef borek, but we really enjoyed everything. I am already planning on coming back!
