You have to make a nurse appointment (week or more in advance) to have an additional vaccine, for one that should have been grouped at the same appointment. It is a cluster there. Disappointing. I am flabbergasted at how uncaring this group is for their clientele. Never going back.

At the second visit, the vet advised me to euthanize my pet. I requested supportive care over the weekend until I could take her to my regular vet on Monday morning. They provided IV fluids and antibiotics for two nights and one day with little effect. When I visited my pet on three occasions during her stay, I was given the feeling that they felt I was wasting my time by requesting care for her and coming to see her. After working with my regular vet, who prescribed antibiotics and steriods, and performed lab work, my pet is expected to live a healthy, normal life for 10-12 more years. In short, the diagnosis was incorrect and hasty. My pet is feeling great and loving life today, just a few weeks after I was advised to euthanize her. I would advise seeking another emergency practice for your pet. I will not use this practice again.

The first thing we did once adopting her was make an appointment at our vet, Thomson Animal Clinic. We were able to get an appointment within a few weeks. All we really wanted to do was get her on file at the vet and have a well visit. When making the appointment my boyfriend was told he could come inside for the visit (which is what he wanted due to having multiple questions) They still have Covid restrictions in place (which is okay) However, we weren't able to speak to the vet or vet tech regarding our multiple questions on our new rescue. Everything is done over the phone in the parking lot. It's not very personable anymore, unfortunately. Feels more like a transaction instead of passion and care for an animal. I made an entire folder our new dog with all her info, vaccine history, questions, etc and no one even looked at it. We'll likely be switching vets going forward due to this issue.
