Parking can sometimes be an issue, with tight turns etc. But the restaurant itself is very clean and looks great. Though I have never eaten inside, I only did takeout, the service was great! My food came out pretty quick and was nice and hot. I got the Big Bowl Ramen, which was enough to feed me and my family. Great first time experience! They have a Gyoza Happy Hour from 3-5pm to add to the already great prices and very generous portions. I had gotten the Chicken Katsu Curry Ramen, Husband had the Oxtail Ramen, and we shared the side order Mochiko Chicken. I thought the Mochiko Chicken was cooked to perfection and wasn't overly sweet. The Katsu Curry hit the spot! I did remove it so it wouldn't become too soggy as I knew it would be too much to finish and wanted to take it home. Husband said the Oxtail itself was bland BUT they gave a lot so it wasn't a complaint but he would probably try something else the next time. Service was friendly and fast. Our waitress accidentally thought my friend ordered gyoza but he wanted charsiu--they corrected it quickly and we got a free gyoza out of it, so no complaints there lol. My gf and I got combos with gyoza and ramen, hers with a mini katsu curry and mine with mini fried rice. Portions were good, I even had some leftover fried rice. Gyoza had thin skins and nice crispy bottoms. I also tried my friends black garlic tonkotsu ramen, which I think was the best dish on our table. They also got our order wrong forgetting a drink and both our ramens were super light on noodles with broth being bland outside of shoyu. This location of Rakumen (there are several) has always taken care of me whether it's for my own dine in experience; ordering out for myself, small groups, or larger groups (order made at least an hour or two in advance for a group of around 30); or making custom orders with the ingredients they have available for friends with specific dietary restrictions. Every time I've dined at Rakumen Mililani, I've been able to order anything on their menu with a few modifications to meet what my preferences were at the time. One example is to order the Black Garlic Oil Tantan Ramen with extra char siu included in the order. Another example is ordering Black Garlic Oil Ramen with cabbage replacing noodles for people who are on keto diets or diabetic. Final example is ordering for a friend who is pescatarian and restricting their carbohydrate intake with doing their Spicy Seafood Ramen replacing noodles with cabbage (cooked with the soup so the cabbage softens like noodles) and with a little Black Garlic Oil added in for extra flavor. This location has done all the modifications I've asked for and also accommodated my larger orders for 20 people or a little more with very little notice (an hour) and I'd recommend dining in with them when you want ramen at a decent price or if you're placing a large order in advance for takeout in the Mililani area. read more

I typically don't write yelp reviews that often but I felt that an honest opinion had to be given. As someone who eats in town often, it was my first time getting ramen in Mililani. My boyfriend and I went and ordered the combo sets that came with gyoza and curry. Gyoza was the best thing about the meal but even that had barely any flavor. Our ramens both came with an eyelash and little gnat inside which we tried to ignore but it definitely killed our appetite. Our stomaches felt weird after the meal and we knew we wouldn't be coming back again.
