Just needed a place to eat. Busy day and already 2pm and nothing but coffee for the day. Domo Cafe will take care of you! Quickly seated, got my drink fast. Decided on the yuzu poke and it was out in a jiffy. Probably the freshest tasting poke Ive ever had at a restaurant. I felt so calm, content and cared for. Thanks Donmo Cafe!!!

We just had a wonderful lunch experience here at Domo Cafe. The menu selection is on spot! Sushi, Poke Bento plates, poke salad, udon, chicken teriyaki, shrimp tempura, etc. The food was excellent. They even had a ahi out on the counter that was getting sliced up. The staff was great and attentive. We really enjoyed our lunch here and are looking forward to coming back in near future. I highly recommend this place!!

We are from out of state and staying at Aulani and was recommended for their poke. The staff was friendly and helpful. I had the California poke and hubby had the chicken teriyaki bowl. He said it was very good. My bowl was delicious and fresh. We did take out and it was so good. I highly recommend here.

Ordered dinner from Domo Café and went with the #9 Aburi Sushi Platter, which comes with 32 pieces of nigiri: seared ahi with mayo, seared salmon with mayo, and spicy tuna gunkan. At $65, this felt like a great value for the quantity and quality you're getting. Flavor-wise, the platter leans slightly on the sweeter side, likely from the drizzle of unagi sauce, but the fish quality was excellent -- fresh, well-prepared, and satisfying overall. We phone-ordered in advance and pickup was seamless. The staff continues to be kind, helpful, and efficient, which always makes the experience better. After Domo Café replaced my longtime go-to sushi spot, KuruKuru, I was a little skeptical, but this definitely delivered. I'll absolutely be back to try more items on the menu.

Domo was really good. Everything was fresh. Nothing crazy priced. They could have more servers. They only had one server for a Friday evening and the place was packed. So he was running rampant. So the service was slow. There were a couple of runners. But the server was doing everything and doing drinks. So hopefully it was fluke. The bentos had great portions and variety. The poke bowl was good and their rolls were good too! 4 bentos and a poke bowl . $104 with tip! I know there are only 3 bentos pictured. One bento was ordered twice. Thankfully we live close and will be back.

So the hubby and I planned to grab subs for lunch. On our way we see a sign that said Domo Cafe and suddenly remembered that we seen YouTubers do a review on this place. Since then we've been wanting to try it. So we pivoted, and walked into Domo. The place wasn't busy when we got there but that changed very quickly. We ordered and couldn't believe how fresh everything was. Also, it came out so fast. We got to see the chef slicing up fresh fish at the counter. We can't wait to go back!!

Located inside the Pearl Kai Center, former Kuru Kuru Location next to Coco Curry is Domo Cafe. I was craving for some sushi, but instead was captured by their Poke bowl menu. Ordered the Spicy Tempura Bowl, but instead of spicy tuna I replaced it with the Yuzu Shoyu Ahi. Let me tell you the presentation and the quality of the ingredients used surprised me. They use sashimi grade fish which is top tier and if you're not into raw fish they do serve hot dishes such as tempura and ramen. There are also lunch sets and sushi bentos as well. I also ordered a Hong Kong Style Iced tea and it was delicious. I may need to come back and try their desserts too.

Sorry, still trying to catch up on all my reviews. But I'm so so glad we finally have a Domo Cafe on my side of the island! Their second location is in the Pearl Kai Shopping Center in the old Kuru Kuru. You really can't go wrong with the prices and how fresh the fish is. It's really close to my boyfriend's house so we've been here a few times already. And we just got a gift card for here so my mouth is already drooling to go back. There's usually always tables available when we go which is nice that we don't usually have to wait. We both got don's and it comes with miso soup. My boyfriend added uni to his with a side of shrimp tempura (his two favs!). I love that you can taste how fresh the fish is and everything is flavorful but not overpowering. The yuzu flavor is always my favorite to get with my poke. And I like that it's on sushi rice which makes it that much better. The staff is usually always very friendly and attentive. And our orders usually comes out fairly quickly. I definitely recommend you checking them out if you haven't already done so!

Ordered a platter for take out and the sushi was delicious! Rice was tasty and the fish were pretty thick. Loved the ika sushi since I've been getting some super thin ones from other spots. Overall, great experience and will order a platter from here again!

I'm honestly blown away that this place just opened this year--it already feels like a staple in Aiea. If you're a fan of poke or sushi, this spot is a hidden gem you need to check out. The salmon nigiri is hands down some of the freshest I've ever had on island, and their bowls are equally impressive. Every bite tastes clean, vibrant, and full of flavor. The space itself is spotless and welcoming, which makes the whole experience even better. Service was super friendly and the vibe of the place makes you want to come back again and again. Whether you're craving poke, sushi, or just a casual spot with seriously good food, this place delivers. Highly recommend making the trip--you won't regret it. VISIT. Update: went here today and omg soooo good.

Domo Sushi is one of those hidden gems you're so glad you found. Tucked away in Aiea, this cozy little spot serves some of the freshest, most flavorful sushi on the island without the crazy prices or long waits you'd get in town. The fish is always top quality -- buttery, fresh, and perfectly cut. Their specialty rolls are creative without being over the top, and the nigiri is melt-in-your-mouth good. The Domo Roll and Spicy Garlic Ahi are my go-tos, and the tempura is light, crispy, and never greasy. The service is warm and welcoming, and you can tell the staff takes pride in what they do. It's not a huge place, so it fills up quickly, but that just adds to the cozy, local feel. Great spot for date night, takeout, or a chill sushi dinner with friends. If you go in a group of 4 or more, be sure to try out their sushi platters for everyone to share family style!

Domo Café has opened their second Hawaii location in the former Kuru Kuru space at Pearl Kai shopping center. Although they are known for their sashimi grade fish featured in their sushi sets and rolls, they also offer non-fish bowls like teri chicken and sukiyaki beef as well as cooked fish so there is something for everyone. The menu is pretty extensive, but I quickly decided on the Spicy Ahi Poke Bowl and it was delicious! Since our group dined during Domo Café's Saturday free fish cutting demonstration, we lucked out and got treated to samples of the freshly cut ahi. Service was great and I like that the restaurant is nice and bright. Another pro is that they take reservations! They are open daily from 10:30am to 8:30pm for dining and take out.

FRESH FISH! Look what came in as we just sat down.... Wheeling a huge fish in from auction... Can't get any fresher than this! Brother brought me and dad to his new favorite place. Domo Cafe Pearl Kai... Located next to T-MOBILE in the Pearl Kai Shopping Center. Great friendly service, very attentive... Clean and comfortable inside. Water tasted good and clean. I ordered the $11.95 special of the day - salmon belly... I guess it's more of an appetizer, so I asked for a side salad ($3.50). He said when they have extra from a large fish, they cut it up for pupu and make it a daily special. Brother had to help me finish it. Very tasty with ponzu sauce on the side. Brother ordered his "usual" Domo premium poke bowl which had ikura on top... Yum! And grandpa had the bento - ikura, spicy poke, California sushi with poke on the side ... He ate it all... We were so full we passed on dessert... Maybe next time! They do take out and looks like ordering online could be easy - haven't tried it yet. But if you are dining in, and if you have a large group of friends, they have no problem in splitting the check by order... Their POS system has the flexibility so it's a nice place to order and pay for your own meal in a larger group. There was a big group celebrating something... And they were enjoying themselves! They just put several tables together for the group. Very flexible. Oh, grandpa was in a wheelchair so they pulled out a seat and he just rolled right in... Perfect height. Outside there are wheelchair ramps right in front of T-MOBILE next to handicap stalls. The fish is FRESH! Will be back! Mahalo for the great service!

It absolutely did not disappoint. Safe to say I'll be wondering why I waited so long! We ordered quite a variety and every dish brought something delicious to the table. The Red Spider (soft shell crab, crab meat, romaine lettuce, cucumber, avocado, and tobiko) was incredible. Every single bite was packed with flavor and texture. That crispy soft shell crab added the perfect crunch that made this roll hard to stop eating. The Black Spider (soft shell crab, crab meat, cream cheese, romaine lettuce, cucumber, and avocado) was an interesting twist from the Red Spider. I wasn't sure what to expect, but it was equally delicious. The cream cheese gave it a richer, creamier bite that worked surprisingly well. Next up was the Chicken Katsu Curry. Japanese-style curry with veggies and crispy chicken katsu over rice. The chicken was beautifully crispy, exactly how katsu should be. Crunchy on the outside, tender on the inside, and paired perfectly with the rich curry. The veggies were cooked just right too. Overall, a really satisfying dish. The Spicy Ahi Handroll was another winner. You really can't go wrong with this one. It was fresh, flavorful, and honestly disappeared within two bites. Yum! Then came the Pork Katsu Donburi with scrambled eggs, veggies over rice, drizzled with their amazing house sauce. Just like the chicken, the pork katsu was delicious. But can we talk about that sauce? Perfecto. I'm not sure what's in it, but it tied the entire dish together beautifully. And of course, dessert! The Fried Oreo with Ice Cream. It came with vanilla ice cream surrounded by deep-fried Oreo and drizzled with chocolate syrup. It was yuuuuummy! Hands down, I would order this again. Do not pass up this dessert. From sushi rolls to katsu dishes and ending on a sweet note, Sushi Spot completely exceeded expectations. Great flavors, satisfying portions, and multiple dishes I'd happily order again. If you've been driving by this place and saying, "I'll try it one day," take this as your sign. This spot is an absolute must try!

We got smoked out and it got bad to the point where my eyes were getting watery. Not sure if this happens all the time at this spot- this was my first time. The service was okay. We waited over 10 minutes to get cups of water and to put in our order. I totally get that they were short handed which also explains why it took almost 40 minutes for us to be served. Ordered the Negi-Hamachi to try something different. Hamachi is my favorite fish served sashimi style so I decided to switch it up and order the Negi-Hamachi which is finely chopped, yellow-tail with green onion and wasabi over sushi rice served with tsukemono and miso soup. I was super happy with this because the Hamachi was delicious and surprisingly, I did not feel bloated or too full afterwards.
