Recently had lunch at Domo Cafe in Pearl Kai. This spot stands out for its fresh sashimi. The quality is consistently excellent, and you can really taste the difference in the cut and freshness of the fish. You can tell the owner takes real pride in what's being served, offering only on the best selections. No stringy cuts. A solid go-to in Pearl Kai when you want something fresh and well prepared.

Their California was probably the best sushi in this bento.

Probably 3.75 rounded up to 4. A step up on Genki but not as good as the neighboring Tadashi. We had an open night on the family cook squad so the "boys" decided to do pickup from Domo Cafe. Ordering was easy and we all got something different. The guys picked it up it was ready when they said it would be. I'd hit this place up again as it was okay value and you got exactly what you ordered. Parking is either fronting the business in Pearl Kai or around the lot. It's easy access.

Just needed a place to eat. Busy day and already 2pm and nothing but coffee for the day. Domo Cafe will take care of you! Quickly seated, got my drink fast. Decided on the yuzu poke and it was out in a jiffy. Probably the freshest tasting poke Ive ever had at a restaurant. I felt so calm, content and cared for. Thanks Donmo Cafe!!!

We just had a wonderful lunch experience here at Domo Cafe. The menu selection is on spot! Sushi, Poke Bento plates, poke salad, udon, chicken teriyaki, shrimp tempura, etc. The food was excellent. They even had a ahi out on the counter that was getting sliced up. The staff was great and attentive. We really enjoyed our lunch here and are looking forward to coming back in near future. I highly recommend this place!!

    Aburi Sushi Platter

Ordered dinner from Domo Café and went with the #9 Aburi Sushi Platter, which comes with 32 pieces of nigiri: seared ahi with mayo, seared salmon with mayo, and spicy tuna gunkan. At $65, this felt like a great value for the quantity and quality you're getting. Flavor-wise, the platter leans slightly on the sweeter side, likely from the drizzle of unagi sauce, but the fish quality was excellent -- fresh, well-prepared, and satisfying overall. We phone-ordered in advance and pickup was seamless. The staff continues to be kind, helpful, and efficient, which always makes the experience better. After Domo Café replaced my longtime go-to sushi spot, KuruKuru, I was a little skeptical, but this definitely delivered. I'll absolutely be back to try more items on the menu.

Domo was really good. Everything was fresh. Nothing crazy priced. They could have more servers. They only had one server for a Friday evening and the place was packed. So he was running rampant. So the service was slow. There were a couple of runners. But the server was doing everything and doing drinks. So hopefully it was fluke. The bentos had great portions and variety. The poke bowl was good and their rolls were good too! 4 bentos and a poke bowl . $104 with tip! I know there are only 3 bentos pictured. One bento was ordered twice. Thankfully we live close and will be back.

We are from out of state and staying at Aulani and was recommended for their poke. The staff was friendly and helpful. I had the California poke and hubby had the chicken teriyaki bowl. He said it was very good. My bowl was delicious and fresh. We did take out and it was so good. I highly recommend here.

Located inside the Pearl Kai Center, former Kuru Kuru Location next to Coco Curry is Domo Cafe. I was craving for some sushi, but instead was captured by their Poke bowl menu. Ordered the Spicy Tempura Bowl, but instead of spicy tuna I replaced it with the Yuzu Shoyu Ahi. Let me tell you the presentation and the quality of the ingredients used surprised me. They use sashimi grade fish which is top tier and if you're not into raw fish they do serve hot dishes such as tempura and ramen. There are also lunch sets and sushi bentos as well. I also ordered a Hong Kong Style Iced tea and it was delicious. I may need to come back and try their desserts too.

Sorry, still trying to catch up on all my reviews. But I'm so so glad we finally have a Domo Cafe on my side of the island! Their second location is in the Pearl Kai Shopping Center in the old Kuru Kuru. You really can't go wrong with the prices and how fresh the fish is. It's really close to my boyfriend's house so we've been here a few times already. And we just got a gift card for here so my mouth is already drooling to go back. There's usually always tables available when we go which is nice that we don't usually have to wait. We both got don's and it comes with miso soup. My boyfriend added uni to his with a side of shrimp tempura (his two favs!). I love that you can taste how fresh the fish is and everything is flavorful but not overpowering. The yuzu flavor is always my favorite to get with my poke. And I like that it's on sushi rice which makes it that much better. The staff is usually always very friendly and attentive. And our orders usually comes out fairly quickly. I definitely recommend you checking them out if you haven't already done so!

So the hubby and I planned to grab subs for lunch. On our way we see a sign that said Domo Cafe and suddenly remembered that we seen YouTubers do a review on this place. Since then we've been wanting to try it. So we pivoted, and walked into Domo. The place wasn't busy when we got there but that changed very quickly. We ordered and couldn't believe how fresh everything was. Also, it came out so fast. We got to see the chef slicing up fresh fish at the counter. We can't wait to go back!!

Ordered a platter for take out and the sushi was delicious! Rice was tasty and the fish were pretty thick. Loved the ika sushi since I've been getting some super thin ones from other spots. Overall, great experience and will order a platter from here again!

I'm honestly blown away that this place just opened this year--it already feels like a staple in Aiea. If you're a fan of poke or sushi, this spot is a hidden gem you need to check out. The salmon nigiri is hands down some of the freshest I've ever had on island, and their bowls are equally impressive. Every bite tastes clean, vibrant, and full of flavor. The space itself is spotless and welcoming, which makes the whole experience even better. Service was super friendly and the vibe of the place makes you want to come back again and again. Whether you're craving poke, sushi, or just a casual spot with seriously good food, this place delivers. Highly recommend making the trip--you won't regret it. VISIT. Update: went here today and omg soooo good.

Domo Sushi is one of those hidden gems you're so glad you found. Tucked away in Aiea, this cozy little spot serves some of the freshest, most flavorful sushi on the island without the crazy prices or long waits you'd get in town. The fish is always top quality -- buttery, fresh, and perfectly cut. Their specialty rolls are creative without being over the top, and the nigiri is melt-in-your-mouth good. The Domo Roll and Spicy Garlic Ahi are my go-tos, and the tempura is light, crispy, and never greasy. The service is warm and welcoming, and you can tell the staff takes pride in what they do. It's not a huge place, so it fills up quickly, but that just adds to the cozy, local feel. Great spot for date night, takeout, or a chill sushi dinner with friends. If you go in a group of 4 or more, be sure to try out their sushi platters for everyone to share family style!

The roasted chicken - requires 20 minutes to prepare - gyoza (chicken or beef) and the orange chicken are deliciously delectable, and are my favorites. Chelsea is extraordinary at providing consistent superior customer service. She never fails to greet customers promptly and kindly. Chelsea wears many hats as the greeter, server, barista and overall front of house manager. It can be extremely busy, but Chelsea hustles and does her absolute best. It can be daunting to find the entrance, walk through a corridor and netting. But don't be deterred nor frustrated. I highly recommend trying the Sweet Corner Cafe. Say hello to Chelsea for me.
