I'm such a Raley's fan. Not sure what all the fuss is about and the negative ratings. I've been on a cinnamon roll kick lately, and I've found that the bakery here has the best cinnamon rolls. Plus, a lot of people don't know that if you have the Raley's app on your phone, you can clip coupons and get really good deals. There's always a clearance shopping cart in the back and they also have last chance tags on some of their products. The store is always clean and it's always quiet, it's just a nice place to do your quick stop shopping. read more

*This review is only for the Poke Station* My recommendation is just don't!!! For those that don't know, Raley's O-N-E has a made-to-order Poke Station. I get Supermarket Sushi every once in a while, so I thought, "why not." I got a Large + additional protein, so it was suppose to have 4 scoops of Protein. I asked for 3 scoops of Salmon and 1 scoop of Crab Mix. The lady pretty much took out a few strips of Salmon, cut it into pieces and this was my 3 scoops, ugh...I should've just canceled at this point. Then, she got the crab mix and pinched a little bit out (yes, with gloves), but was it a scoop? I don't know...it was so little!!! Next, she assumed I wanted rice so it was already in the bowl. When I told her I wanted the Spring Mix, she gave me attitude and dumped the rice back in with the rest of the rice. Ick!! Then there was the toppings. On the menu, there is a long list of toppings to choose from, but then when it came to order, there were only a few toppings; Avocado, Cucumber and 2 or 3 others. You would think it was the end of the day, but it was a Saturday at Noon. So needless to say, at $14.99, the serving was small, hardly any toppings were available and then, had to put up with attitude. This definitely should've been a call the Manager situation, but I wasn't in the mood, so I took my bowl and left. I write this review in hopes that someone may benefit from this feedback. I want to like this store as I live nearby but Raley's prices are very high and seem to be constantly changing. Sometimes things are on sale but you have to use their app to click the coupon to get the sale price. It's a hassle! Also the price of wine is really high unless you buy six bottles to get 30% off. Sometimes I just want one bottle of wine at a fair price... is that too much to ask? Last but not least they have several prime parking spots right up front that never seem to be used for the E cart customers. Ridiculous! read more

My Raley's One experience today could have been 5 stars except for the absolute INEPT young people they have working at check-out. I am an older woman who bought $315.00 worth of groceries for myself & my elderly neighbor. Even though this market is on the higher end of price-points, the roads were still quite icy. I didn't want to travel far. So, I found everything I needed and proceeded to check-out. I asked the bag girl if she could PLEASE double bag each grocery bag, for I had to carry & deliver these groceries quite a distance. I got the pediatric eye roll, "I ALWAYS double bag!" I looked at the single, flimsy, plastic bag that she was shoving a jar of tomato sauce in, 3 heavy cans of beans, a large box of soup and some produce. I countered with, "Well, that bag is about to blow. Please. I have quite a distance to travel". I trusted then that she was honoring my request, as I was paying up with the cashier. I paid the bill and grabbed my cart: $315.00 worth of groceries and not a single bag DOUBLE BAGGED! The bag girl, the cashier and a third employee all gathered together like magpies as they, as the bag girl declared, "spilled the tea". In clear view of their gossip session, I took time to start double bagging my ENTIRE ORDER! They simply did not care. For the prices one drops at Raley's One, I expect these young people to be trained; trained to understand that if there are no customers, there are no JOBS. Whoa! Super fun customer appreciation event this past weekend. Thanks to Jeff in the liquor department and Doc the wine steward, for the heads up and invite! I actually came thinking it was one of Jeff's special whiskey tastings, but it turned out to be so much more. I took my son with me, and we found sample stations and activations throughout the store. We loved trying everything they had on offer, from Goldfish snack crackers (flavor blasted for the win) to specialty local spirits from Frey Ranch and Bently Heritage, and even some stellar samples from the Raley's catering team too! Favorites had to be the non alcoholic refresher with cranberry and kombucha made by the catering team, the selection of Krave Jerky, and of course, the wine and whiskey. Oh! And all the great packaged samples you got to take home too! They also had a scavenger hunt that I completed with my son. We had a lot of fun exploring the store to find the featured products. The Raleys team member handing out the hunt card hooked my son up with a cool reusable tumbler when we turned in our completed card and now we get to wait to see if we're drawn for a grand prize! read more

This review is about the delivery service. I was recently disabled and need help bringing groceries inside. Two weeks ago I placed an order with a 10:00 delivery time. I received no text updates but saw a car circling my house at 9:30 then leaving At 10:15 the same car came back and placed perishable groceries in the hot sun Through my ring camera I asked him to bring the groceries inside but he just snapped a picture and left. It took an hour to bring all the food inside. Raleys acknowledged this and refunded the purchase. Today I tried again, receiving no text updates. Been stopping here for a while and finally figured out what the ONE means! The green Raley's sign should have tipped me off, too. It feels like a higher end, organic, fresh prepared food market and other items. There are unusual plants, housewares and other items that maybe found at a more specialized boutique store. I like that one does NOT need a Raley's number to get the sales prices!! I like that they do NOT charge for paper or plastic bags. I like that they seem to hire a lot of people to keep this location clean, well-stocked and maintain the fresh food market side. read more

I love this Raleys! They always have a great selection and are staffed appropriately to get you in and out. The floral section is stocked with fresh orchids and an assortment of various other flowers at all times. There is a Pharmacy inside this Raleys which makes for a really convenient outing if you need to pick up a prescription. Take a look at the made to order Sushi rolls as well as a wide range of fine wines they carry. The butcher boys are always friendly and will season anything you want out of the case. They even sharpened a few of our knifes in the past. It's a one stop shop for me! And last but not least the customer appreciation party they have once a year is top-notch! Love the live music, wines and apps available to try during this yearly event! read more

Nice neighborhood grocery store. I'm glad to have healthy options next to the products full of ingredients banned in other countries.

Went back to shop here again. It was a bit frustrating since stockers left carts full of merchandise in many of the row so that the customer can't go down that row or if they could it would be hard to see what is on the shelf. Nice clean store and lots of variety. But I really did not like the self-check. Constantly had problems and the person in charge of that area sat at her computer trying to fix problems. Never once came over to talk to me or for me to show her the issues. She did get things resolved from her chair but it was not good customer service. I got tired of seeing a box pop up that did not pertain to my order, it was truly frustrating and took much longer to check out. Customers go to quick check to get out of the store faster but next time I will go to a live checker. read more

I. Love. This. Store. It's rare in the world of large chain grocery stores to still be family owned. Raley's has always had high quality product and this store is a testament to that reputation. I can spend an hour just perusing the aisles in this clean and beautiful store. I have found great birthday gifts for my nephews here as well as all of the foods that meet my dietary needs! I love that this is a one-stop-shop! They also have a good rewards program so you don't have sticker shock every time you leave the store. This location is always busy and sometimes the checkout line can be long - when in doubt go for the self-checkout! I love the easy entrance to the shopping center from the main road and only wish you didn't have to go all the way around through two lights just to go back that way. Nothing will keep me away from this store, however! I cannot say enough positive things about it. read more

SUSHI Yes!...after a while of growing pains for our neighborhood grocery to go from a regular Raley's to an updated Raley's O-N-E Market, their sushi chef did the same! I have been ordering sushi platters from them for our Christmas Eve dinner party for quite a few years and for other events and parties. Their platters have been fresh & delicious although inconsistent at times as the sushi section is privately owned. Well the newer owner JayVee has kicked it up a notch and prepared 3 beautiful sushi platters for us this year consisting of 1 cooked, 1 uncooked/raw fish, and 1 vegetarian. They were all packed with delicious fresh sushi and not filled in with huge blobs of wasabi and ginger, instead they were presented in special wooden trays looking more like gifts than food. He was also nice enough to call me and let me know they were ready for pickup at least 1 hour ahead of his promised time. Great job JayVee! read more

The change in Raley's to a O-N-E Market, in my opinion was a huge mistake. While I am all in on organic produce, high quality meats, the way this came out was way, way over the top. I understand the concept of making sure that you don't want to carry anything with artificial ingredients and those that do not promote health, but it's hypocritical to do what they did and yet keep one of the largest grocery store liquor departments intact. We still use their pharmacy, but guess what, if you go there to buy some aspirin or Aleve, you are going to be out of luck. If I need to buy some produce or meats, I'll stop by if in a hurry, but if I need to do a shopping trip for a lot of items, the new Safeway is where I'm heading. There is one good thing about the change, you can forget about waiting in long lines to check out and parking is easier than ever since so few people are going there anymore. read more

Sad, so, so sad. This was the PERFECT grocery store; so perfect, in fact, that I marked the remodel days on my calendar so I would be sure to have everything I needed for the four days it was closed. Imagine my surprise when I returned! Previously, there was a fantastic array of "healthy" and "organic" in addition to the routine staples needed for a home kitchen. I realize that eating healthier is a great goal, but I am an adult and there are times I want Oreos or Skippy peanut butter. Also, I don't understand why liquor is not banned from the store but Activia yoghurt is? Seems illogical to me and not evidence based by nutritional science Please return to your former glory. When I come to your store now, I am just sad. I'm even sad that the aisles are so empty of shoppers when I used to be annoyed previously if I had to run in during a peak time. read more

If you're looking for a grocery store to buy high quality produce then this is the place! I was prompted to come to this store from an mail ad that I had received. I had heard that prices here are very high, but I decided to give it a try, and I am so glad that I went. I mainly stayed in the produce area which had all of the items that I needed. Every piece of produce looks hand picked and they had ample organic options. I will note that stores layout was not the best, but oh well. The crowd is not too crazy here, and that could be mainly due to the location. It is not a rush to get in and out here, and I really like that. The prices are not any more than those of a Safeway or Whole Foods, in fact I felt that It was less expensive than those places. I will be getting my produce here in the future! read more

Raley's is pretty much unrivaled in terms of quality and selection. Walking into this quieter suburban location, you can't help but be impressed by the perfectly stocked shelves and the numerous varieties of any product you seek. But like all Raley's, it will cost you an arm and a leg at the register. I was especially impressed by the food court, the alcohol selection and the dairy section. Here you'll find goodies you won't find at your average Safeway, Trader Joe's or even Whole Foods. It all comes down to how much money you want to spend. When it costs me nearly $200 to get the same products I could have paid half of that for somewhere else, I see this Raley's as more of a specialty store than a place to frequent on a regular basis. read more

I don't believe that I dislike any other grocery store more than Raley's on Wedge Parkway. If you're looking for off-brand items this is the store for you. For the items you recognize such as Campbells' Pork and Beans for example, I found 3 cans on the very bottom of one self and requiring me to get on my hands and knees to see and reach. How about Campbells condensed soup for another; found five or six cans of three varieties and again, on the very bottom shelf. After cruising the entire store twice looking for the aforementioned items, I called the store to ask where to look. Girl says 'we don't sell Campbells Pork and Beans". The final straw was having to bag my own groceries as there was a shortage of employees. And as one final insult to the unfortunate customer, Raley's prices are no bargains. read more

My wife and I shop at sprouts for most of our foods and would use Raleys to fill the gap or pickup a guilty pleasure type snack food or something. With the opening of the new store my wife and I were interested to see if we could accomplish all of our shopping at Raleys. Ironically, following this change it turns out they have none of the food we used to get there (Thomas English muffins, for example) and also little of the foods we get at sprouts making it impractical for us to shop there and essentially eliminating them as an option for us. Although I'm guessing we are not their primary demographic. Actually, I'm not sure who their primary demographic is as they are solidly in a neighborhood surrounded by families who I'm guessing have broad food preferences. I would have thought this type of model would have been a concept tried in midtown or more urban area first. It also seems that during this transition, they eliminated what they deemed unhealthy in favor of some healthier foods which seems to have increased the cost of many items in the store. I would be cool with less extravagant store displays if it would lead to more competitive pricing. Additionally, it also seems they have been somewhat hypocritical in their approach to healthy foods as it looks like the alcohol selection hasn't dwindled causing me to think they took a bet on health food but need alcohol sales to carry them through this experiment. I'm not a health professional but selling alcohol in their store seems incongruent with their message of healthy foods only. I run ultra marathons and am not an unhealthy person...sometimes however I would like to enjoy something that might fall outside of the "healthy" food spectrum requiring me to visit other stores in the area to get my "fix". With the lack of a broader range of healthy foods inventory, lack of snack foods, the increased prices, and hypocritical approach to "health food" implementation (alcohol sales) I don't see my family shopping here any more with all of the other options available. Maybe a bit far fetched but future phase idea - Rename the store to "Raleys 3". In addition to healthy foods, they could also limit food sales volumes to reduce over eating, make the aisles farther apart and eliminate carts so customers have to carry everything to encourage regular exercise. That way they have all the important healthy components covered. Although not for me, I hope they succeed...quality of foods is an important factor in having a healthy community along with eating the right volume of foods and regular exercise. Access to healthy foods is important as well...hopefully the high prices don't exclude healthy food options for those who need it and are on a budget. It will be interesting to see how the Raleys ONE story unfolds... read more

I've given up on Raley's One. I now drive 10 minutes to my grocery store, when this one is a minute from my house. It makes me sad to walk I to a "normal" Raley's because it reminds me what Galena Raley's used to be. Trying to be positive, there are never any lines, and the fruit and veggies are still good. The prices are way higher than the other Raley's in town(and Raley's was already pricy). The brands are unusual, and anyone that I've tried from Raley's has been lackluster at best. I've heard rumors that the owner is doctoring the books to make Raley's One look better then it is. I've heard that they are down $20,000 a day. I've heard rumors that the owner would rather let the store go out of business then change it back. This store used to be the gold standard for grocery stores in Reno. Now it's slowly dying. read more

We live about 1.5 miles away from this store and have been a customer since 2012. What the heck is all I have to say. Although aesthetically the store looks great! Very bright and very clean. After that, I am sorry to say that I do not think I will be shopping here anymore. The prices I felt were very expensive before the remodel. But now, it's even worse. The quality of the produce is not good. I prefer Whole Foods. The berries here are too ripe and the rest of the produce just looks.... tired. I appreciate the fact they are trying to go in a healthier direction, but I don't understand how the Raley's brand is better than many of the other brands they no longer carry. Even the employees that became friendly faces that I enjoyed talking to are no longer there. Sorry, but I will drive farther to get better prices and more variety. read more

A neighborhood grocery store...no more. Sorry to complain but South Reno does not need a health food store in the Galena area. No normal basic items, iceberg lettuce, Kraft Thousand Island or Dawn dish soap, only Raley's products for the most part . Who knows what else is gone. I live across the street and always go to Raleys' for what I need before the regular shopping at ugh...Smith's which is horrible. Thank God we have a new Normal Market coming Safeway!!!! read more

5 out of 5. As a grocery store, it's great but why is it extra perfect and surpasses all others I usually head to? DMV in a box. I avoid the lines. I avoid doing it online and waiting for my tags in the mail. I receive my registration stickers in an instant. This takes so much strain and stress out of everything. Especially for my motorcycle. No smog so I get the email for renewal and head down to Raley's. I grab my tags and some groceries and I'm in and out without a wait. Perfection. read more

What an atrocity of an upgrade/rebranding! Raleys used to be the shining star of "family groceries". I didn't necessarily do all of my shopping there, because it is/was a little expensive for feeding a whole family. However, I did love their produce, the deli/bakery section, and their meats/seafood. I shopped here frequently for those items. When I arrived during the "renovation" to a closed store I was surprised. I don't monitor my email super closely but in the week prior I'd shopped and there was no signage to warn of the closure. It was getting late and I didn't want to go somewhere else since I live about 3 blocks away...so I just gave up on the salad I had planned to make. When I did return after the reopening I was shocked to say the least! NONE of what I regularly buy was there not even my pickles! No Bestfoods Mayo, no Coke Zero, no Millers Hotdogs (which ironically actually meet their new high standards), no Cheerios...the list goes on. I was shocked and disappointed. That particular day I was shopping for chicken noodle soup because my stomach was not feeling well. The Raleys brand fresh chicken noodle soup in the deli area was sold out. Ok no biggie, I went in search of canned soup...BAHAHA noooo that doesn't exist! So I found some boxed organic chicken noodle soup that cost $5 for a barley 1 serving carton! I purchased 2 cartons of soup, 1 bottle of Kiefer, 1 tub of raleys tomato soup, and a produce item that I cannot recall.... $35 Buck's for 5 basic essential type items! If I hadn't been not feeling well I would have walked out and gone elsewhere. Since that experience I've gone in for specialty items that I know are only sold there, and that's it! Additionally, almost everything in the store is WAY OVERPRICED. It's almost laughable how overpriced the groceries are here! I'm sorry Raley's One Market...you lost One more Market customer! I refuse to shop here unless it's an emergency! You're absolutely crazy if you think this was the way to go. Forcing your idea of how everyone must eat! Jokes on you. Losing business like crazy. I cannot tell you how disappointed I am that you made this change. Not to mention your price hikes have to be a massive deterrent for families! I'm pretty sad about this review. I liked the ONE concept but overall not impressed with the store. Ordered a fresh juice took 15 min and was late to work. Next day tried again with a latte, same thing. No urgency. This cafe is for people that don't work and love to overpay. As far as the store... To me, the layout of the store doesn't make sense, I can't find anything. Kitchen items aren't with kitchen items. The produce is worse than Winco. Very poor quality and 5x the price. I will say, now that people have stopped going to This grocery store, the lines for check out are wide open on peak hours. Also, it appears that sales are down so they do have quite a few discounted meat products that are finally at a normal price. Sad to say I'm now a Safeway shopper. read more
