I find them really very easy to naviagate: they've been gracious, referred me to the proper level of professional to answer my questions, been honest when they're unsure or need to refer me back to another medical professional, and they're on-time with our med orders as seniors. Very sorry to hear of the dissatisfaction from some others that have been posted; but I feel we're VERY fortunate to have such a professional team at our doorstep in a small town. This is now the fourth time I have had an unprofessional and uncomfortable encounter with Linda, a pharmacy technician at Rayles. When I called today, Linda told me she could not verify which prescription I had available for pickup using my birthday or the prescription number Rayles had texted me. Instead, she insisted that I list all the prescriptions I have ever filled at Rayles. I was taken aback; I had never heard that this was a requirement. I explained that I couldn't recall all the names off the top of my head and asked if she could verify my information using my birthday. She refused, stating that they don't do that, and insisted I must provide the names of all my medications. I inquired whether this practice aligned with the standards set by the California State Board of Pharmacy. At that point, she abruptly placed me on hold. When she returned, she again requested the names of all my medications and my phone number. I repeated my request: "Can you please verify using my birthday? Isn't this a permissible method according to California law?" She responded, "No, Rayles does NOT do this!" She added, "Rayles has its own way, and the pharmacist, Lisa, is right here listening to you; you're on speaker." At no time did I permit my personal information and conversation to be shared on speaker with other customers within earshot. Throughout this interaction, Linda repeatedly put me on hold, hung up on me, refused to answer my questions, and made me feel highly uncomfortable, especially when she informed me, toward the end of our conversation, that I was on speaker. Linda has consistently demonstrated an unprofessional attitude not only towards customers but also towards her colleagues. I have often witnessed her use demeaning language when speaking to her coworkers and boast about her years of experience as a pharmacy technician, which, in her own words, gives her the right to place customers on hold for 40 minutes if she wants to. It's disappointing that both customers and her colleagues tolerate her unprofessional behavior. Every other pharmacy technician I have interacted with has been professional, respectful of privacy, and compliant with state law. read more

Not sure what is going on but they no longer provide vaccinations for anything, not even the flu. No explanation at all.

Pharmacist name was Linda & refused to refill a medication that was scheduled for tomorrow, Sunday but they are closed. They have previously refilled my medication/s that is due for Sundays on a Saturday since the business is close for the day. She has said that it's going to get refilled on Monday, the 9th of September and until then, I just have to wait coz she said so. read more

Worst pharmacy ever! They always get it wrong. This time, they were out of stock of a medication, and they can't dispense the medication after having the prescription for 7 days (today is the 7th day). They haven't even ordered the medication yet! So even if they ordered it now, we couldn't pick it up tomorrow because we are past the date they can dispense. We have to go through the entire process of seeing the doctor, getting new tests, and taking the evaluation. Absolutly horrifying in their incompetentcy. read more

Service is always the best, ordering and picking up prescriptions and vaccine injections

This is follow up from my prior review. Customer Service was helpful. I got a call after 2 days from a representative that spoke to the pharmacist that was working that day. He confirmed that the pharmacist suspected my prescription was fake due to an uptick of misuse of the prescription and decided to not fulfill it. I respect whatever procedure they have in place to determine that. However, when I had to call for an update the conversation was more insinuating my prescription was fake and that they're not doing it because it is a red flag. She could've just said that it was out of stock. Instead she took the opportunity to chastise me for something she assumed. Through all this the representative made it clear that they do not care how their employees treat their customers. He told me they cannot control how their employees speak to customers. Sounds like a company culture problem. read more

It's HORRIBLE. Slow to fill prescriptions and never open. I dropped a prescription off 26 hours ago. It has not been filled yet. How is that possible? How is that acceptable? "You have to understand that it's Christmas Eve, there are only two of us working, we are closing early...". Which doesn't explain what's been happening the last 26 hours. read more

We went to Raley's to get some food for our BBQ. We found everything we needed for our BBQ. When we go to Raley's which is very rare, all the staff are usually pleasant and very kind. But our recent visit wasn't terrible but the person that was ringing our groceries up did not even acknowledge us. The person bagging our groceries did. As a GM for a grocery store, customer service is a big thing for the company that I work for. A little hello even if you don't converse with them during the transaction. He did not even give us our total, so we don't even know how much we spent. After we grabbed our groceries, I thanked him and said have a great day. He mumbled thank you. Hence the 3 - stars. He had a great customer interaction with the customers before us, so I was hoping the same for us but no acknowledgement. I will definitely shop at Raley's again because you have everything I need. Very poor customer service at this location. They are crossing the line when they try to play Doctor and deny prescriptions from my actual Doctor and no it's not for pain medication . Why would we pay to see our doctors ,get evaluated and prescribed medications if all we really need to do is go to Raleys pharmacy and have their receptionist tell us what we can and cannot have. If they don't like the reason for the prescription they will totally Discriminate against you and deny you. My doctor even said this is ridiculous and that is not the pharmacy's job to decide what we can and can not have. That is why we have doctors and dont get our Medical advice from Receptionist. read more

I have been getting my prescriptions filled at Raley's since they opened. I have NEVER had a problem with the pharmacy. They ladies working there are very helpful and the pharmacist has always answered any questions I have had regarding vaccines and prescription. Also, the last three or four times I was in the store I actually tried to pay attention to who was and was not wearing masks. Everyone! that I noticed had their masks on and they were being worn correctly. It is a great store and like all of us, Raley's is still learning and adapting as they go. Which I have to believe is the case with all stores that are still open to the public. read more

Fabulous Pharmacy--Raley's Southampton, Benicia Over many years I've worked with different pharmacies in Glen Cove Vallejo neighborhoods, but none provided 'comfortable' customer services. I tired of oppositional pharmacists who quoted pharmacy regulations and required return trips for pick-ups and other complications. In view of the rather large and expensive volume of Rx orders I moved on. In March, I transferred all my prescriptions to Raley's. May I briefly mention the outstanding ways Raley's staff has assisted me: Provided original copies of all my prescriptions as required by insurance Sorted out direct payment with my overseas insurance provider Used personal knowledge of pharmacy networks to optimize communication and cost-effectiveness Facilitated legal requirements for one controlled substance Rx Graciously handled concerns even under 'last minute' circumstances In general at Raley's I appreciate the pharmaceutical expertise/knowledge and professional commitment to addressing customer needs; the reasonable hours and minimal waiting time; the friendly, helpful staff and the reliable telephone order system. I recommend Raley's Southampton to pharmacy clients with expectations of service beyond a business transaction: in sum, Raley's customer service is outstanding! read more

The bank where people with money go is in the front of the store. the pharmacy where sick people go is a long hike to the back of the store. Inadequate handicap parking is often full so it's another hike just to get to the front door. Speaks volumes about how they value pharmacy customers. The pharmacy with initials for a name has a drive through. The staff is nice but the system of follow up is disorganized. They filled a prescription for me 10 times stronger than the doctor ordered. I called to ask if it was correct but they didn't call me back. After one week i went in and found out that I had a 10 times too strong dose. read more

DO NOT GO TO THIS PHARMACY! The people who work there (specifically Lisa and the Pharmacist) are extremely rude. I have never been treated so poorly by any other business. Transferring a prescription is like pulling teeth. I moved and it took 5 phone calls to finally transfer all of my medication. They don't communicate to other pharmacies about their guidelines when transferring meds. After complaining about the horrible customer service and giant headache they have caused me, the Lead pharmacist calls me sounding annoyed and condescending. Many items but everything is sooooo expensive! T The pharmacy is really slow some days, and right on the spot other days. Some of the pharmacy staff know what they are doing, others don't. I asked them to look up to see if my insurance would cover a generic equivalent of one of my prescriptions. The blonde helping me went right to her computer and found a drug that the insurance preferred and assured me the insurance would cover it and not attribute it to my deductible. When the prescription was filled a different worker said it was applied to my deductible and they couldn't look up the insurance coverage. This store runs out of meat on a weekly basis. You are lucky to find lettuce or fresh produce in stock. Today I went to buy groceries to find half of the checkers open and all lines to the back of the store. This store needs better management to staff and stock more appropriately. I will not be shopping here again. read more

I am writing explicitly about the pharmacy at the Benicia Raley's. Soooo slow!!!!! With exception of the younger blonde girl who works there - absolutely no one has a clue... Unfortunately I have not seen her there lately so I am stuck with the rest of the employees. All workers are about a hundred years old and move like tim conway on the Carol Brunette show. Not only do they seem tired - but incompetent at running the new technology of the store purchasing equipment. That I can deal with and have for the past 10 years. HOWEVER - today - I called to get a price check on some medication I need. The first person put me on hold. After 15 minutes a new person came on and asked what I needed. I asked her what happened to the person who was suppose to be checking on the price - she said " she doesn't know how to do that". Then why on earth is that person answering the phone much less working there??!! So after waiting another 10 minutes - she came back and gave me a ridiculously high price. I asked her if that was with the 'no insurance' discount. She said no - she didn't know what that price was... So I asked her to find out - and she said - " No I don't WANT to..." after my pushing - she came back 10 minutes later and gave me a price of half.... So - I will have to go there - but for GODSAKE - get a new staff in there!!! I've sat in line for a half an hour watching the crew walk around doing nothing and not acknowledging the customers. I think they are hoping people will just leave! And I am not talking about the pharmacists on the upper level - which by the way - how long does it take to count some pills. They act like they are working in a nuclear plant. Other than that the store is cleaner, has a better selection than safeway - but at a higher price. read more

Raley's online pharmacy is worthless. Before, it always lost the prescriptions I asked it to remember, so I had to re-input my prescriptions each month. If I was not home, I could not renew my prescriptions because I didn't have the numbers with me. Now, it won't even take the prescription number shown on the label and it no longer asks me how I want to be notified when it is ready. read more

The entire team at Raley's Pharmacy goes out of their way to provide excellent customer service. They are most helpful, making things work is how they operate. Their people have become friends. They order special brands of medication if needed, they explain medications as needed, all around a great pharmacy and everything one could ask for. read more
