Very good local grocery store. It has a wide variety of food and meals. Also has hot food, cold food, microwaveable quick meals, and many other types of food. I don't usually go here for grocery shopping (expensive) unless I'm lazy and I don't want to go across town. But I do go to Raley's for the Sandwiches! Especially the Turkey Sandwich on Dutch Crust with Pepperjack or Provolone cheese with everything on it - it is huge and worth it! Donuts are delicious in the morning when baked fresh. Peet's coffee is located on the right side of the store. On a side note, the grocery store and the bathrooms (located in the back) is kept clean. There is a self check out area which I always use because I do not like waiting in line and usually like doing it myself. You can exchange your lottery tickets and scratchers at the customer service counter and pick up scratchers in the vending machine! Good luck! read more

Raleys has become extremely restrictive during Coronavirus pandemic. While we all forced to enter and exit thru the same five foot door space, should-to-shoulder, we are also forced to wait a half hour in just 2-3 cashier lines as the cashiers move as slow as possible, after finding only limited supplies on their store shelves. We try to avoid having to go to Raleys until all of their restrictions are eased eventually. read more

The most expensive grocery store in Tracy and their cucumbers are covered in white bacteria. The staff make you feel like you're bothering them if you ask for help, and even as a member, you still need to clip coupons and scan things to get the better price, when, the better price is the normal price at other stores in the area. They are also out of things quite often and cannot be trusted to have the food you are looking for. Don't waste your time, and even worse, your money. read more

The store is clean and has great selection but they must have trouble hiring because there are always huge lines to check out with a checker. Typically if a store has a long line they will call other checkers to come up and help but nope, not at Raley's. This place use to have great customer service, sales associate with attitude which must learn from their manager. For paying top dollar I expect at least a smile. Tracy Raley's delivery service fulfilment is horrible. They pick the stuff that looks not fresh. Items were missing. I felt like I was getting ripped off. The delivery person was over an hour late. I tipped on my order process for $20. I felt like they should refund me. I still now have to wait for a ride back to the store to get the items I was missing. I will never shop here again or recommend their delivery service. On many occasions when shopping they will leave out meat that has expired and is green. I am tempted to contact your corporate service since I know a Raley's manager will ask for his help. Oh.. You fired all your nice staff without notice in the Chinese food department only giving them days notice. Pretty shitty doing that to your long term employees. read more

This place exudes cleanliness and friendly people. Produce section is always well stocked and very organized. Meat/Deli section have fresh selection although some cuts can be very pricey. They have a chinese and japanese section here that are always ready to go, made in store. Their prices can be a little steep at times but it's not a big deal for me since i don't do my regular grocery shopping here and being a raley's rewards member i can accumulate points that i can use towards savings in their store. Their pharmarcy is also very friendly and took care of my transferred prescriptions immediately and got my meds the next day. Mary who helped me out with the process is very helpful and she took care of everything. If you don't have the time to go in the store to grocery shop or get things you needed personally, they offer ecart which you can order what you needed online and pick it up ready for you at the store without getting out of your vehicle. I haven't have time to try that one yet but will definitely do one of these days. read more

This Raley's is surprisingly big and well-stocked. It's similar to the Modesto store on Floyd Avenue. While the prices aren't cheap, I find them lower than Save Mart. The trouble is that Raley's has to compete with Target, Walmart, and Dollar General for my grocery money. Service is always friendly, and I've been here more than a few times for Peet's. read more

I am a 69 year old Black lady,who happened to be in a handicap cart,shopping at this store.Just so happened the Sheriff's deputy was there at the time.I paid for my purchases,at self checkout,receipt in hand..I get to the handicap parking ,the Sheriff comes out and tells me not only did my payment not go through ($5.00) of which I got the receipt....AND they said I didn't pay for Ballons& other veggies....also had receipt for!Sheriff apologized,and said he knew better because he saw me shopping,..but manager DIANE complained about it!!Little old Caucasian lady.I RESENT BEING RACIALLY PROFILED!!I will never,ever go in there again..and it is right around the corner from me.Everyone else couldn't be nicer..but this lady turned my stomach....and I hear it wasn't the first time it's happened....I've been out here 5 years,and never ,ever experienced this behavior..Hopefully no one else of color will experience this nightmare..Raley should get rid of her soon...since this is HER practice read more

This review is for the bakery. This is not the first time I've been impressed by their bakery department. I finally needed to say so in a review! On Friday night, I frantically walked in needing to order a cake for my sister's 30th celebration the next day. I went with the blue "Tiffany" cake they had on display. I absolutely love the fact that I was able to customize it. I liked this cake bc it was simple and it was made with buttercream instead of fondant (which none of us like). The gal who helped me let me choose the bow I wanted. I was able to also change the color to red (my sister's favorite color) and black for the decorations. I also chose marble cake with raspberry filling. Everyone very much enjoyed the cake! One person asked where I got it and seemed shocked when I said, Raley's. Way to go Raley's bakery! My cake was a hit especially with the birthday girl! read more

This store is beautiful and clean. The Deli department and bakery always have deliciously tempting sandwiches, chicken and Chinese food. However, many of the employees aren't wearing masks or gloves to prepare food for the customers. The Covid-19 virus is lurking everywhere. When is management going to recognize this as a health hazard? Hopefully, this will be addressed very soon. read more

Very clean store with helpful and friendly employees. They have a more expansive selections of unique and healthy items than many grocery stores (meats, produce, sauces, and more). My only complaint is I frequently come across produce that is spoiled on the shelf, or realize it is spoiled/moldy when I cut it open at home. For that reason, my review drops to 4 stars. read more

Typically, not the exception, wait times at checkout are as long as 10-15+ minutes. additionally, when getting my receipt and checkout I hear "Sorry for the wait". The cashiers don't even bother to request additional cashers leading me to the thought that management is aware of the poor customer service. Stopped in here today since it was the grocery store on the way home. Admittedly, it's been a very long time since I have been inside of a Raley's but I was quite impressed. It was a very rustic small store vibe. I also liked how all of the frozen and refrigerated foods were inside full enclosed cases instead of just the frozen foods. Wish more stores were that way. In my opinion the prices were high for some things (our regular loaf of bread was over $4 here vs the $2.50 I usually pay) but the bacon I was looking for was cheaper at only $6 compared to other places so it seems to even out. Just like with any store you need to know your prices when you shop. It's a store I would run into if I need just a few things and don't feel like driving further but I find it too expensive to be our go to grocery store. read more

Came in the afternoon to pick up a few items. There were people in all two of the full service lines that were open. I went to the shortest one & the checker told me the line was closed. Then two other people went into the line. Now it was open? Within 20 seconds??? Terrible customer service. I had moved out of line to a longer line only to return behind the other two people. The young man bagging asked how my day was & I let him know. He apologized and was very nice. He gets 5stars for doing his job correctly. Today did weekly shopping at my go to store for past 10 yrs.....Raleys. Today being the last day. Not one more time will I peruse old produce, expired meat, milk, yogurt, etc. Today I was the lucky shopper who almost bought rank smelling ground chicken. I noticed bleach was sprayed in the meat refrigeration closets/refrigerators. Now I know why because when you pick up something rank you don't smell it because of the mask you have to wear. At check out asked for a manager, so I could announce this would be my last day. Unfortunately the manager, a woman with grey hair, could care less. Or, at least that is how I felt as I left the store. Telling the clerks thank you, for their kind service as they felt bad for my experiences. Raleys Director/General Manger; how hard is it to present fresh produce and other product. Where is your Quality Control!! No one is holding that position apparently. Lastly, I am very disappointed, like I said been shopping there for 10yrs at least and given many complaints and kept going back in hopes improvement was on the horizon. Not the case!!!! Tracy CA location. The lines in this store are ridiculous every single time! And you're out of Apple gift cards. BEEN OUT for a long time! The "meat/ seafood" department is severely lacking product and customer service. Harris Ranch is a crap brand and people know about that! BEWARE IF YOU ARE DISABLED! My father got out of intensive back surgery not too long ago and needs to use the electric scooters to shop. Both times coming here neither have battery when they are supposed to be charged overnight or when not in use. Shop somewhere else if you need them. Went looking for Apothic A wine, because I was so lazy went to Raley's. Yes I paid the price, $11.99 for a single bottle, the same bottle sold at Walmart and Winco, even some Costco's for the low price $7.88! The difference of $4 was enough to pay the gas to any one of these stores. The mussels were $6.89 and the Funfetti cake mix was 1.67. These can all be found at Winco: Mussels = $3.27 and Funfetti for $0.98. Raley's is not competing! read more
