I wandered into Mirchi Meat & Deli to compare it with the Cafe at the end of the strip. Didn't know they made sandwiches. Didn't see any signage. Just saw a meat counter, a few shelves & a refrigerator with edibles. Same uniform with no pricing attached. Buys: Knorr Chatt Patta spicy flavored instant ramen noodles (6/5.99) made in Pakistan by Unilever. -serving size 1.76 oz vs. 3oz. For Indomie, a popular Indonesian instant noodle brand. Almost 40% less for 2X price. -noodle isn't spicy hot. More peppery & earthy. Taste is ok but not worthy pricewise. Service was courteous but not immediate. Cashier was also cutting meat in the back. Had to finish cutting chores first.

Hands down the yummiest pastrami sandwich I've had. Yelp reeled me in with a picture I saw on yelp I had to try! I was pleasantly surprised with delicious combo of the filllings! Some type of jam, pickles, peppercini, and grilled onion. I chose it to go on sourdough. The sandwich itself took about 15 minutes for them to make and it was served hot. I will be back again!

Discovered this spot on Yelp while craving hot sandwiches during late pregnancy and stopped by after a prenatal appointment. It's tucked in a small plaza so it may be easy to miss, and doubles as a deli and Indian market with speciality items and fresh halal meat that you order by the pound. The sandwiches are made with fresh to order. My husband and I got the roast beef and pastrami sandwiches. The sauces really made the sandwich and complimented the meat quite nicely. I would never think to pair jam with pastrami but it's a combo that works. You get the sweetness of both the jam and caramelized onions with the saltiness of the pastrami. 10/10 recommend getting both and sharing the split sandwich with someone. The seating, though, is very limited--a small counter with 2-3 stools in the back--so it's definitely best to take your food to go. Unfortunately, the service left something to be desired. One guy at the counter seemed unsure how to interact with customers, which made the experience a bit awkward. Wasn't sure if he was employed there or a family member. Either way, he wasn't helping the other two employees and just kept talking to them while we stood there waiting for someone to greet us or take our order. Overall, decent food, but service could use some work.

Good sandwiches. Had the pastrami which I really like the mayo and jam in it. It has a sweetness to it. Also, had roast beef and it had a savory sauce. I like having both as it's a good change up. Halal place and they're also a butcher shop and there's some frozen sections as well.

Easily one of the best pastrami Sammies I have ever had. I'm rarely ever on this side of Fremont and took me forever to get here from Union City due to all the stoplights and traffic but wanted to meet a friend who was coming from the 680 side of Milpitas. Been wanting to try them out since I follow them on TikTok so I dropped the pin to the spot. The Sammie: bro, the saltiness of the fresh, hot, tender, melt in your mouth pastrami balancing with the sweet you get from the berry jam was very unexpected and topping it off with the spicy crunch you get from the peppercinis and the melted comfort you get from the sliced Swiss cheese all held together with the perfect slices of bread truly puts it all together and was pretty amazing. I definitely need to come back again soon! Service of course was also amazing. Thank you for your kind hospitality.

I picked up a roast beef sandwich here and it was very good! I liked the stringy Swiss cheese and pickles that added a nice kick to the sandwich. I waited about 10 minutes for them to make it after ordering it. There is a small lot as well for parking.

got their sandwiches pretty good! came out quick and was hot when we got it. bread was toasted just right it was crispy and it was like a smashed sandwich but it definetly got me full. very good flavor. i got pastrami and roast beef and they tasted similar as i got same sauces for both but they were both really good. this shop is in a meat shop but other than that, would definetly come back

Came in at noon on a weekday, not very busy so short wait. This place is a mix of deli, butcher, and store. They have 3 high top seats but not really a dine in location. Food was good. Got the roast beef sandwich. They put it in a press so the bread comes out very crispy.

Cajun turkey sandwich, refreshing, but the dutch crunch lacked crunch, and i would want garlic or cranberry sauce to make it stand out.

Big deli sandwiches that are decent for the price. Better than togo's, deli sandwiches and soups in a small plaza. The place was a former small liquor store, so now they reuse the fridge area to keep cold drinks, have some shelves for chips, and 6 tables to eat. Unfair, but i am comparing to top delis around the bay like little Lucca's in castro valley and Lucca's in SSF, and this place falls short for prove comparison and for quality of the bread. The dutch crunch was not crunchy, the $30 godfather did not have enough mayo and olive oil, and the $15 turkey sandwich did not have the garlic sauce i get from other places. At this price point, i expect a little more. The really big tall guys behind the counter are cool, but not much more service than simple greetings, so good enough. Extra, their clam chowder was amazing with large chunks of clams and very little other things (potatoes). Would come back just for soup.

I got the Roast Beef and Pastrami with sourdough. Food takes 15 minutes to get ready but it's worth the wait! The meat and bread were tasty and not dry, but not oily either. Definitely coming back to try other stuff on the menu. There are a few seats for eating and waiting. They sell lots of spices and some beautiful looking meat cuts. The ambiance is pretty much any other deli but with a South Asian twist!

Delicious pastrami! Bonus that it is halal. In a quiet plaza with lots of parking. Unique flavors.

No our hours are still the same for Sunday! I’m sorry for the inconvenience, we had our opening shift leader call in sick last minute which caused a delay in opening. It should not happen next time!

Are you guys open 10am? I came by and it was closed

That alone tells you how long I've been supporting this place, and they've been consistently amazing ever since. Sourdough & Co across from Kaiser in Fremont is hands down one of my favorite spots. The food is always fresh, delicious, and comes out quickly, but what truly makes this place special is the people. The owners are incredibly kind and welcoming. Every time I walk in, I'm greeted with a smile, they know me by name, and they always make me feel appreciated (even got a free coke and soup) Thank you! That kind of genuine hospitality is rare. They've even surprised me with small freebies from time to time, which really shows how much they value their customers. Because of that, I've been more than happy to support them, I regularly recommend them to my staff and coworkers and encourage everyone to grab lunch here. If you're looking for great food, fast service, and genuinely good people, this is the place to go. They truly deserve all the support. Highly recommend!

I had a very disappointing experience at West Coast Sourdough in Fremont…read more I ordered two meals totaling $52.60 (after using a coupon; the regular price would have been around $60). I also paid for extra cheese on my sandwich. After leaving the restaurant and driving to a meeting, I started eating and realized the extra cheese I paid for was missing. I called the restaurant to let them know about the mistake, expecting a simple apology or an offer to make it right. Instead, the person who identified himself as the owner argued with me, insisting that the extra cheese had been added. I politely explained that it was not on my sandwich, but he continued to debate me rather than listen to his customer. Eventually, I ended the call because the conversation was going nowhere. Mistakes happen, and I understand that. What I don't understand is the lack of customer service and the unwillingness to simply acknowledge the issue and resolve it. My advice to anyone ordering here is to check your order carefully before leaving the restaurant. If something is missing, don't expect a customer-focused response if you call about it afterward.
