I ordered the chimichanga. I picked up my order at Walmart, drove home. My food was still warm enough to eat. My toppings were on the side because I wanted to share with my sister. She decided to have cereal because Mexican food was not sounding good to her. When we got the groceries put away and I opened the food container it looked so good I talked her into trying it. She ate her half. That made me very happy because she won't eat hardly anything. In noticed carne asada fried after I ordered. While waiting, three separate folks ordered them. That's my next trip. Food is usually pretty good, not the service though. Today we were in the drive thru for about 30 minutes. I asked for 4 cream churros and a surf and turf burrito, then when I got to the window I double checked with the kid that it was a surf and turf and he just nodded yes. Traveling thru Crescent City on our way home from Oregon we were starving and luck for us there was plenty of space in the parking lot for our truck and trailer. It was 9:00 in the morning breakfast time. We headed for the door and the outside of the building was not super clean but not super dirty either. The inside of the building was not super clean and looked like it was about time for a coat of paint soon. We were surprised to see no one was wearing a mask . I did not review the Covid protocol in Del Norte county, but we were surprised. We ordered 2 machaca breakfast burritos , chips and salsa and 2 cokes. I always order machaca when I go to a new place because it has to be cooked fresh, no sitting around. There was a little language barrier when we ordering but it was not to bad we worked thru it. My wife used the restroom while we were there and she thought they were very clean, she was very glad about that. We took our order to go, being so close to the Crescent Bay we thought we would enjoy the view while we were there. We had a tailgate breakfast and the food was good, the burrito was not huge but it did have good flavor and the chips and salsa were good. I was looking for a quick place to stop for food during my road trip to the Redwood National Forest. I found Raliberto's on Yelp, and it didn't look too out of the way, perfect! The taco shop itself isn't anything fancy. There's both drive thru and sit down service, which is nice. I dined in and was pleasantly surprised with the low pricing. My boyfriend ordered a massive burrito plate, and I ordered the taco salad, which totaled $15 before tip. My taco salad was a little on the bland side, but they gave us red and green salsas as condiments to help add more flavor. My boyfriend's carne asada wet burrito was pretty tasty. I got the Adobada burrito, still don't know what was in it cause when I asked the speaker was a little hard to hear. The reviews on Yelp were ok, so willing to give it a try. I'm very cautious about writing reviews that may impact negatively a business. My hubby had the Camarones Rancheros and it was super spicy and he could not finish it. I'm Mexicana and cook spicy food and this was too much for him. The beans had an odd taste. I asked for a plain bean burrito with pico de gallo and received one with rice and cheese. I wasn't feeling the best and wanted to keep it simple. I would not recommend this restaurant but possibly due to the location and hunger, may be one of the only options open at 8 on a Sunday. I would suggest having fresh frijoles or whole boiled beans and fresher ingredients. I truly hope they read some of these reviews and improve. The woman serving us did the best she could. We picked up food from Raliberto's yesterday evening. I am a big fan of their location in Eureka, so I was excited to try out their Crescent City location. The experience was disappointing, not worth the one hour wait in the drive-thru, and ultimately revealed unsanitary working conditions. In short, if you want your food to be served by maskless employees and wait a ridiculous amount of time for two burritos that aren't even what you ordered, this is the place for you. At the time of this writing, Del Norte County is in the purple tier of the coronavirus pandemic. The fact that not a single employee in Raliberto's was wearing a mask was disgusting and negligent. This is a high-traffic restaurant along the 101 - this could become a public health hazard in due time. Our food was ok - contained cheese which we explicitly mentioned to not include. The burritos were large and filling, but the tortilla had a strange, rancid aftertaste. We won't be eating here again. read more

We had originally planned on going somewhere else, but there was an hour wait. We were starving (hiked all day in Jedediah State Park) and needed to eat. My Brother had stopped by here a few times on his drives up the 101. Mexican food is always good, so we decided to get in line. There were maybe 5 cars in front of us, and it was moving a bit slow. My brother joked "this may take like 50 minutes, we should have just waited at the original restaurant we went to". Well, I shit you not, it DID almost take 50 minutes. For a drive through taco shop, this shit TOOK FOREVER. It took us about 15 minutes or so before we even placed our order, and then, I'm not joking, another 30 minutes or so to get our food. We stood at the window a good 20 minutes after we paid waiting for our food. While we were at the window, the worker informed us that they didn't have one of the items we ordered. My Brothers friend had to order something else and the guy gave us back the difference in cost. (This was like 20 minutes after ordering, too) The young kid apologized for the wait, and they DO make your food fresh, so it was kind of "whatever", but yeah, shit took forever! lol I went with a California Burrito and a beef taco. California burrito was ok. Fries weren't crispy, carne asada was cubed up and more like "steak" than carne asada, and it was pretty plain. Just meat, cheese, pico and that's it. No sour cream or guac in this burrito. It was ok...I've had worse. Beef taco was pretty solid. Had a couple bites of my Brothers ground beef tacos, too. They are only $1.50 and pretty solid for that price. I would get them next time I came, probably. I think everyone enjoyed their food just because we were starving, but as far as the time spent in line compared to the price/quality of food, it was just ok. I poured red salsa over the uneaten burrito and started my first bite into a warm and soft center and full egg, cheese, potato and crumbled pork sausage filled my mouth and warm feeling of deep satisfaction started dissolve my morning hanger (Hunger and Anger) to oblivion!
