Had gone to this place as a recommendation from our Airbnb host as their favorite place - was definitely a great choice! We stopped by for a quick lunch during our remote work day, and the waitress was very nice in giving us some recommendations of what to order. The food was out very quickly (within 10 minutes) and tasted very fresh! I loved the gyro meat and it was very well packed in terms of volume as well. I had the gyros, my daughter the chicken carbonara and the hubby, the spaghetti and meatballs. We had our forks in each other's plates taking samples pretty quickly. So much flavor, their pasta was perfect, everyone's proteins were perfectly seasoned, flavorful and fresh. I read a few reviews that stated the sauces were too thin. Traditionally, that's how it's supposed to be. Maybe don't use Olive Garden as a standard for Alfredo sauce next time. The wife and owner was our server and she was attentive and lovely. My son really enjoyed the creamy shrimp fettuccine and commented how big the shrimp were. The only thing we didn't care for was the tomato bisque soup. We all tried it and it was a consistent no. Maybe too smoky flavor. For dessert, we had the chocolate cake and all LOVED it! The wine was paired very well. We had the Merlot and Cabernet. Definitely would go back if we are in town again! It had began with some spotty service while driving down to crescent city, indicating the intention of a specific plate with a specific cheese ingredient not included, that had been previously mistaken as a entree instead of the sandwhich. This plate was not only taken wrong over the phone as the entree, but was met with distain after we called back to re iterate the confirmation of the type of plate; but was met with being rudely hung up on quickly after being told it was fixed. The inability to be willing to offer services without attitude always seems to be unwilling applicable with this business. Unfortunate service by nice tasting, yet close to highly inflated greek food prices; seemingly time after time again, terrible attitudes and responses with the most simplest interactions, indicating unfortunate poor service and customer service. Whether solo, with my fiance, or with a group of family or friends, to-go or in house, always seems to be unwilling to share a good experience with the simplest services. I had a Greek sampler plate so I could try a bunch of things, but it was way too much food for me to eat so this would be good to share half the plate with someone else, my husband had an eggplant dish that he really liked and we brought leftovers back to our campground because we were in Crescent city just for the day checking out the beautiful town. The restaurant is situated in a mall situation near a grocery store so it's not in a fancy area so the outside is not going to be you know a fancy place to take people for the price. We had the following which we all spilt among us: Shrimp Scampi,Seafood Linguine, Chicken Parmesan, Turkey-veg soup, Sampler platter and Loaded fries. The Loaded Greek fries were my favorite (refreshing with white yogurt sauce, chopped olives, tomatoes and feta)... Sampler plate had an assortment of cheese pastries, humus, grilled pita bread, olives-feta, fried eggplant and fried zucchini... simply wonderful. Ate here twice while in Crescent City. The first night we went Greek having the Moussaka and Gyro. Both were good and I liked that the Moussaka held its shape and wasn't too saucy. We really enjoyed it and the roasted potatoes were cooked perfectly. The next night we had shrimp Alfredo. The serving was huge--we should have shared. It too was tasty, but overall we preferred the Greek dishes. Both meals came with soup or salad. The salad was nice but the tomato soup tasted a little too smoked for me.
