Food was decent! We ordered chicken Parmesan and shrimp fettuccine. Chicken parm had good flavor and it came with a side of Alfredo pasta which didn't have much flavor. Also tried a peach Italian soda. Had a weird aftertaste but it was probably the peach syrup. However, best part was the portions were huge so if you are hungry this is the best place. Don't let the fact that it is in a strip mall fool you. The staff were very attentive and ambiance was also nice. I believe they updated their dining room. We also got the tiramisu to go. read more

Yelp comes through again! We wanted to find a great place to eat after a day of hiking in the beautiful redwoods forest and saw Marlo's listed as a top choice in Crescent city. My fellow Yelpers couldn't have been more right. The food was marvelous. The service was fast and attentive, and everyone in our party was delighted with their entrées. A fantastic stop! Sorry, but this is mediocre at Best. We had the chicken Parmesan and substituted the white sauce for a red sauce on the pasta. I actually had asked for a Bolognese sauce and what I got was tomato sauce out of a can. Would not go back. read more

We have been on the road, eating out for more than a week. This restaurant is the best one that we have eaten at the whole time. My wife and I couldn't finish eating all the food we were served. Had gone to this place as a recommendation from our Airbnb host as their favorite place - was definitely a great choice! We stopped by for a quick lunch during our remote work day, and the waitress was very nice in giving us some recommendations of what to order. The food was out very quickly (within 10 minutes) and tasted very fresh! I loved the gyro meat and it was very well packed in terms of volume as well. Inside the restaurant was empty at the time we went (Monday around lunch) so service seemed very quick all around. read more

Very casual and low key atmosphere. Excellent and prompt service. Food was very well seasoned in a pleasurable manner, and the quantities were ample. My chicken kebab was seasoned and cooked to perfection, but the beef kebab was too overcooked. Mushroom soup was also very pleasantly seasoned and unusual. Server brought the mains and put them on the table while we were eating our salad. Never did clear the salad plates. Never cleared a plate before bringing the check. We came to Crescent City to visit the aquarium. And afterward, we had planned to go to a little sandwich shop, but they were full. So, a couple of turns later, we found Marlo's. I had the gyros, my daughter the chicken carbonara and the hubby, the spaghetti and meatballs. We had our forks in each other's plates taking samples pretty quickly. So much flavor, their pasta was perfect, everyone's proteins were perfectly seasoned, flavorful and fresh. I read a few reviews that stated the sauces were too thin. Traditionally, that's how it's supposed to be. Maybe don't use Olive Garden as a standard for Alfredo sauce next time. The wife and owner was our server and she was attentive and lovely. The chef and owner greeted us, also lovely. If you want TRADITIONAL Greek and Italian fare, come here. Amazing and chef's kiss! read more

My husband and I then each ordered a flavored Italian soda and they were so yummy and refreshing. It was hard to choose an entree because everything on the menu sounded so good.
