I just stumbled upon this place yesterday.. What a find!! My husband and I moved here from San Diego 12 years ago and have never been able to find a true Southern CA taco shop until now. This is the place!! Our family had carne asada tacos and burritos, quesadillas, rolled tacos with guacamole and more. Everything was delicious and exactly like you would expect from a real taco shop. I cannot believe the horrible service I've received here. Not just once but twice. The first time I asked for more hot sauce. The response I got was "No we have other customers." Really? That's how you treat your customers? Charge me extra for the hot sauce! But outright refuse it to me? So today, after waiting in the drive thru for 15 minutes for 4 tacos, I ask if I can get extra lettuce and cheese on my tacos since they always skimp on it. This time the response was "No they are only a dollar." Really?! Ok again, charge me extra! I get it! I want to enjoy my tacos with lettuce and cheese! I'm done with this place. The quality is getting worse and worse and the people here are extremely rude. I will take my business to one of the other 100's of taco places in the city. This place is nothing special. read more

Omfg. Eat here. It's amazeballs. Yes, I am from Sam Diego and this place finally does some justice for real so cal style Mexican food. My California burrito was perfect. The carne asada nachos I stole from my boyfriends plate were awesome. I ate my kids last rolled taco, it was also great. Then I ordered 2 More burritos to take home and 2 churros for the road, because we drove up here all the way from Burien. This is my favorite night munchie stop (and occasionally afternoon munchie) in Everett. I usually stick to the same order: ground beef crispy tacos. I will sometimes change it up and get chicken if i'm not in the mood for beef, but the crispy tacos are cheap and super tasty. They fry their own shells and they are made to order. The ground beef tacos are .99 a piece, a little more for chicken. Their house hot sauces are legit. I like quick and cheap eats, and I love this Taco Shop!!! I have tried a few other items on the menu, and I definitely think that the reason to come here are the cheap crispy tacos. They are open pretty late too. read more

I'm originally a San Diegan so I'm all about Mexican food. For those of you that don't know, SD mexican food is better than Mexican food from LA or TJ. Anyway, I was stoked to find out the owner is from SD. The gauge of all Mexican food spots is measured by the quality of their Carne Asada Burrito and this one didn't quite meet up to the standard of excellence. This place doesn't look much from the outside but being from San Diego Calif, this place will satisfy! How this ever got such high marks, I'll never know (employees, friends, relatives, etc.?). This couldn't really even be called authentic mexican food. The food was incredibly overcooked, sloppily thrown into a to-go container, beans were extremely runny, and was all way overpriced. I had such high hopes of this place, honestly. My boyfriend sung its praises and Yelp rarely lets me down. However, here is a list of what went wrong. 1. Ordered chips and salsa. It's actually chips and pico de gallo. I ordered to go, so I guess I should've checked before leaving. But still, no where else on the menu is pico listed as "salsa". 2. Pico was over 75% onions. I love onions, but that's not pico de gallo. Plus a few very poorly diced tomatoes, and an abundance of cilantro. No lime, no spice, not even any salt or pepper. 3. The chips are incredibly fragile. I couldn't even enjoy the onion-y pico if I'd wanted to, because anytime I tried to dip, the chip would crumble. 4. I also ordered a carnitas burrito. I wanted to add beans and rice. Cashier even clarified I wanted to ADD to the ingredients already on the burrito. The cooks sub'd beans and rice, so I didn't get guacamole or pico on my burrito. 5. Carnitas were additionally disappointing flavor-wise, and waaaaay too salty. 6. The flour tortilla was really tough and chewy, which also made the entire burrito difficult to enjoy and finish. 7. Both the verde and roja salsas were bland. No flavor, no spice, nothing at all nice. They do get two stars, however, because; 1. The cashier was very friendly and patient in answering my few questions. 2. Food did come out incredibly fast. 3. Horchata was the bombdotcom, and only $2.50 for a large! So, unfortunately for me, the cons outweigh the pros and I will probably not be back. read more

I've eaten here numerous times now and have yet to be disappointed. The fish tacos are by far the best I've had in this state, the crispy ground beef tacos are served in a fresh flakey shell and aren't greasy like a lot of fast food tacos are, the lengua burrito is massive and packed with tons of meat and guacamole, and the tater tots are delicious and pleantiful. Everything I've tried so far has been excellent, and a great value for the money. By far my new favorite restaurant in the north end. read more

This is the go to spot for tacos when everything else is closed. Kind of hit or miss sometimes though. Make sure to check your order and change before you leave. This is as close to SoCal taco shop Mexican food as it gets in the PNW. Great shredded beef tacos and carne asada burritos (only meat, pico, and guac). Only thing that doesn't compare are the tortillas- they're not the handmade ones like you get in SoCal. Nevertheless, it gets me through until I can make it back home to SD for the real thing! read more

UGHHH THIS PLACE MAKES ME MISS CA SO MUCH! We love coming here super late at night on the weekdays bc the drive thru is never busy. The owners are awesome, even though we can't understand each other. It's close and convenient, and the beans are super good... especially when i crave them really bad. Was really looking forward to this after reading the reviews...sorry to have driven out of our way to do so. I doubt we'll be back, and there wasn't one other person in there eating if that tells you anything. El Antojo is 5 minutes from the house, has better food and the great salsa bar that also has pickled carrots and onions plus fresh radish slices, all free. I'm not saying the food at Raliberto's was bad, it was just forgettable. The thing I was really looking forward to were the homemade tortillas that reviewer's here were raving about, but there were none. The tortillas used on the Carne Asada tacos and rolled tacos that we had were definitely out of a package. The woman at the counter that took our order couldn't have cared less, and spoke barely enough English to even take the orders (and we ordered by number!) They must have raised the prices since the people raving about how cheap their food is ate there. Two Carne Asada tacos, without much meat, three rolled tacos (could they get any less meat in those?!) Both with tiny portions of rice and beans was $16.00. Not impressed. read more

Wow. After reading the reviews and just moving into the neighborhood I was excited such a seemingly great Mexican joint was right down the street. My partner and I were both very disappointed. We ordered a plate with taco carnitas and a burrito/enchilada plate. The carnitas were chopped up WAY too small and for that reason were extremely dry. The burrito was also dry, it was chicken. The enchilada was slimy and barely had any cheese in it. We waited for 15 min for them to fill this order. I assumed it was because they were making it all fresh to go. Who the hell knows what they were doing. It sure wasn't cooking authentic food that's for sure. read more

I hate to be mean because it doesn't look like they get a lot of people going there but, I don't understand why this is place is so highly rated. I ordered a carne asada plate and one .99 ground beef taco. I ate the taco first, and it was okay...the shell was pretty good but I was a little thrown off that it was just lettuce and beef. Granted, this is .99 cents but, I can get a Fresco taco from Taco Bell for the same amount of money. Now, the carne asada plate was not good at all. The rice was dry, beans were decent (and I hate beans), and the pico de gallo was all mushy with guacamole. The carne asada, however, was just plain ol' tough steak. I'm use to carne asada being seasoned and this was not one bit. With every bite I took it became more and more gross..until I just gave up and threw it in the trash. I don't know...maybe I'm just picky. But I've tasted carne asadas from many different restaurants and none have tasted like that. There's been SOME sort of flavor. BF and I dropped by Sunday night around 6:30pm to try Raliberto's. It was difficult finding the driveway that led to the restaurant at night and in the rain. We ordered 2 carne asada tacos, a carne asada burrito, and an al pastor burrito. The carne asada tacos and the al pastor burrito were unbelievably SALTY to me. The carne asada burrito was not as salty so I'm not sure which ingredient had too much salt in it. My bf thought everything was good and not overly salty....... so it could just be me? Everything was very reasonably priced. I'll probably just stick to ordering tacos from here though. read more
