Ordered the Crazy Monkey, which came with banana chocolate and cappucine. Needing a bit of a pick me up as I was in work-mode, I ordered the large which came out to $5. They call it a large but honestly it could easily be called an extra extra large! I really felt like it quite a value deal and you get a lot for your money. T he space is quite homey, charming and chill. Great spot to bang out an hour or so on your laptop while getting your caffeine fix!

I never once took the free coffees although very rarely I would pass on my free cups to the person behind me if the opportunity presented itself. Occasionally my son would come with me to get a muffin and sometimes a nice lady there would give me the muffin in the place of the free coffees. Today I asked for that for the first time ever and instead giving me the $4 muffin instead of $6 worth of coffee they refused and said they will not do that anymore. I understand that no business is obligated to give you anything for "free" but when you have loyal customers that spend thousands of dollars at premium coffee prices, policies like that make no sense. The bean prices there are bordering on unaffordable and we patronized the business anyway to support a local business. I will no longer be buying coffee from them, but I still wish them the best.

There's also seasonal looking ones like street corn and chocolate chipotle. The options here are plenty! The quality of the ice cream is rich and well balanced. It's close to the quality and flavor of the infamous Salt & Straw in the city. While creamy, the flavors were bold and the texture of each serving we tried were smooth and rich. The chocolate mocha coffee toffee was my favorite on this trip, followed by the oatmeal cookie with its chunks of soft cookie and delightful hints of cinnamon. The Cookie Monster tasted like a frozen cookie and milk treat, though out of the 4 flavors we had it was the most subtle. Still a tasty treat nonetheless. The German chocolate cake was rich in chocolate and the bites of walnut and coconut were perfectly sized. I would definitely add some brownie toppings to it next time for some fun cake texture. All in all, this is a great place to stop by for some ice cream. The staff is super nice and the place looks well kept. A real good find indeed!

Sure there are some great deli's, diners and cafe spots but at No Rush Cafe, you never feel like your present is detracting from business. There's been times where I get me a sandwich and a coffee, crack open my laptop to do some emails and video editing, and all of a sudden when I look at my watch, 2 hours has passed. Their booths are incredibly comfortable and even have inspired me to create some breakfast nook booth seating at home.

That said, I requested 1/2 sugar in my decaf iced brown sugar shaken espresso. I am avoiding caffeine. It was still too sweet for my taste. We also got a regular coffee which was okay. The iced lavender matcha latte was probably the best. Still a little too sweet. Last was an iced matcha latte; overpowered by sugar. If you want to taste your matcha or coffee, definitely request less sugar, much less. I didn't eat the pastries but my family said the chocolate croissant was flaky with good quality chocolate. We had it warmed up; definitely recommend that. The service was very friendly and helpful. Inside it's dark with cool paintings on the walls. They have several sitting areas with all types of couches and chairs. Outside it smelled like weed; inside it did not. Well, there you go!
