On Saturday, My wife and I stopped in for a quick dinner and sat at the bar and met Jenny the bartender. Jenny was one of the nicest staff members that we've ever had. She had a great sense of humor and served delicious drinks , especially the spicy margarita which was " made with love " which was to my wife's liking. Usually I order the pizza but this time I ordered the All American Burger which consisted of LTO, secret sauce, pickles, double patty smash style, brioche bun and french fries and it was delicious and it hit the spot. I was guilty of texting pictures to my friends to tell them to check out Brix the next time they visit Long Beach . Definitely a 5 star experience

The vibe of the place is great and this is my second time there. Service always seems to be great. I had a few drinks good size for the price. I got the Birria tacos, looked very good but lacked flavor for sure even after dipping it into the broth. The all America burger was amazing great huge burger flavor and cook. The fries are like five guy fries not the biggest fan I prefer crispy and coated fries. And the mussels were really good along with the grilled toasts they serve with. Would definitely get them again. Next time I'd come with a few more people or atleast one more and tries the meat lovers Detroit pizza, and some other stuff. Thanks staff

Now that I've moved out East,…read morevery rarely do I go back to my hometown but last month was one of those times, it was my chance to visit Walls again! The bakery hasn't changed at all in over 50 years, just as I remember it! There's still the incredible smell of baked goods as you walk through the door! I ordered the Chocolate Bobka and a Black and White cookie, which was a must for me! They still make the best Black and White cookies! I was not happy at all to hear they no longer make their Chocolate Eclairs! Back in the day, walking home from HS, I would always pass Walls and I would buy an Eclair to eat on the way home! They were filled to the brim with delicious custard and the dough that held the custard with the chocolate strip on top was over the top amazing! The Chocolate Bobka was a little dry but still very good! Together with a glass of milk it was a great treat that brought back lots of memories! I'm planning a repeat visit next month, the Apple Strudel and Rugalach I remember being delicious so that's what I'll be getting when I return. I hope the owner is there, I'd really like him to reconsider bringing back the eclairs!! If you're in the area, try to visit Walls! The Bakery is more than 60 years old and just a charming, real old fashioned Bake Shop!

The space is warm and inviting. The menu offers all day brunch as well as some more lunch type items. They have a bunch of different lemonades, both the Arnold Palmer and blood orange versions were quite good. The Le Grand BLT may have been the most perfect BLT I've ever had. Wonderful grilled sourdough filled with Maple Pepper Bacon, Tomato, Mixed Greens, Garlic Aioli and Bacon Jam. It was a little sweet, a little savory and all around delicious. Served with house "chips", not potato chips but maybe fried wraps(?), I'm not sure but they were amazing and addictive. The FS Chicken Salad included Grapes, Apples, Cranberries, Celery, Red Onion, Tomatoes, Candied Walnuts, Mixed Greens on a Croissant was excellent and also served with the house chips. They were also accommodating for a nut allergy and were able to make it without the walnuts. It was reythe perfect spot to grab lunch and I'd go back any time.
