I still enjoy coming here. It has a nice space inside, and depending on the employees they are either friendly, or just doing their job (which is fine with me, as long as they are not rude). We stopped in on a Sunday morning during a visit to Philly, looking for a place that had both nice coffee options as well as nice pastries; I found Rally and we were thrilled we decided to give it a shot. The shop itself is clean, cozy, and filled with high quality, aesthetic-looking coffee gear and little decor items, most of it for sale. The drinks themselves were delicious; I got my standard cortado and we ended up getting two specialty lattes because the first one was that good. The pastry was a cut above what you normally find in a coffee shop, clearly sourced from some local bakery that knows what they're doing if not made in house. Fair prices on everything, service was very quick, and would definitely be a favorite haunt if I was in the area more often. read more

I picked up a pastry and their seasonal solstice latte and enjoyed it outside on a sunny day. The solstice latte had dark chocolate, orange zest, and hint of cayenne. I wouldn't think I'd like that combination, but I wanted to try something that they created. It was good! It wasn't overly sweet, so it still tasted like a coffee beverage. Solid option in the area. My go-to Sunday late morning cafe was packed and I was looking for somewhere to sit and decompress, so I walked a couple blocks farther to this little gem yesterday and will definitely be returning. Rally is a small but bright and inviting space with a reasonable amount of seating for for the establishment's size. I ordered a hot drink, but there were bottled drinks for sale in a nearby freezer as well as pastries at the counter. I also spotted goods from other local merchants for sale throughout the place. 10/10- would recommend with 2 enthusiastic thumbs up. read more

Rally is a nice quaint coffee shop located in an eclectic neighborhood. We stopped by while waiting for our cheesesteak order and each got the cardamom latte, which was absolutely delicious! I'm a huge fan of cardamom lattes and have tried enough that I think I can pinpoint a good one and this is definitely it! I could always use more of a cardamom flavor, but you were definitely able to taste the spice and it complemented nicely with their espresso. It's a pretty classic coffee shop with tables nearby. Noise level was perfect for a quiet weekend to catch up on work and had I come here with the intention of getting work done, I would have thoroughly enjoyed my time. read more

I really like Rally! Their staff are really friendly, and the coffee is typically prepared pretty well. I've had a few drinks that didn't hit the mark, but I'm usually grading coffee on a pretty picky scale, and considering how often I've gone, the odds are pretty solid that you'll get a good drink. I've really enjoyed their sort of coffee mocktails, as well, which change fairly often. The space is small, but nice. I love that they support a lot of local small businesses, as well. They use locally-roasted coffee, display local products, and sell local pastries, bagels, and donuts, as well as ice cream sandwiches from Weckerly's! I used to go later in the day, so I rarely got to enjoy the pastries, but they carry a good selection if you're fortunate enough to go earlier in the day. Rally is somewhere between that neighborhood 2nd wave coffee shop and a trendy 3rd wave shop in both vibe and setup. Pre-pandemic, it was nice to see so many people working in the space, holding business meetings, or just having a casual drink. Even catching a coffee cupping with Blind Tiger on Fridays. Now, it's a basic grab-and-go, which works if you're in the neighborhood and want something as you stroll. I look forward to seeing things return to normal eventually, but until then, Rally is worth checking out! read more

Overall ambience was enjoyable and service was fine; decent space for doing work with a good number of tables for two + some outlets! This is a great neighborhood coffee shop. They have most any coffee house drink you're looking for and they all taste great. Most of the staff are very friendly and kind and make a trip worth it on their own, but there is one (tall) barista in particular who seems to continuously go out of their way to be unfriendly and condescending. If you can avoid them this is a great spot to check out, but if you can't be prepared to receive their ugly attitude and do remember that some very nice people work here too. read more

I'm visiting from St. Louis and my bestfriend took me here before catching my flight. I fell in love with the color scheme of the cafe and the staff are so chill and welcoming. I ordered the vanilla cardamom latte with oatmilk and it was to die for! We also got some pastries (chocolate chip cookie and chocolate croissant) and they were tasty. Absolutely love this place! Loved it before COVID and love it now too. They have online ordering with pickup 5-10 minutes after ordering online. COVID has definitely forced a lot of businesses to get more creative. And they have definitely stepped up. I usually get an ice coffee or mocha, but they also have fun drinks like hibiscus tea and jasmine mocha. There also have a some coffee merchandise for the hose making coffee at home like pour overs, an aero press, and mugs. I ordered the wild blossom with oat milk. Although the place is cute and a nice place to hang out, the drink tasted like sweet milk and the matcha was not mixed well. Extremely clumpy. Although they had a traditional Japanese whisk, they did not used it and instead mixed it with an electric foam maker which did not do the job. Would try their coffee next time. I arrived with 2 friends last week. I had an espresso while my two friends had a tea and a latte. My latte friend said hers was not great. If my espresso was any indication, it's because the coffee was bitter. Either get a new coffee roaster or adjust your grinder. My friend who had the tea said there were barely any tea leaves in the bag (they do it by hand) and her tea tasted like hot water. Also, there were zero pastries. Great place to go to get some studying done (or any kind of work really). I really liked the atmosphere here, and the coffee was great too! The food items were kind of expensive in my opinion, and they don't put the prices on them so make sure you ask beforehand. It's kind of small inside, but when I went on a Saturday, I had no problem getting a table. Most people get their orders to go. There are also cute cafe tables outside for days with nice weather, and they sell fun greeting cards for various occasions (among other items too). If you have a work meeting to take part in and need a setting, it's possible to reserve a table for 2-6 people, and enjoy 20% all cafe items for your group. It was perfect temperature and delicious! I've been on the hunt for a maple latte in this region and this one was home run! They offer a variety of drool worthy pastries too! The subway tiles, copper, industrial pendant lighting, matte black hexagon tile flooring, clean, light marble countertops, bright windows and gorgeous, moody green exterior and matching cabinetry with sleek brushed gold pulls had me "ooh-ing" and "ahh-ing" the entire visit! Just garbage. Ordered an everything bagel with cream cheese. The bagel was burned, and then the freezing cold cream cheese was given to me in a plastic ramekin. So by the time I realized this, the bagel wasn't hot. You have to put cream cheese on a hot freaking bagel or it doesn't spread! And the coffee was just bleh, it was bitter/burnt. read more
