This is a cute little coffee shop right off of South St in Queen Village. It's small with about 5 tables and bar stool seating. The space is crisp and clean in mostly white with bistro chairs and bench seating. Outdoor seating is available in nicer weather. The staff were very nice and helpful in explaining the food options. I was happy to learn they use a homemade chai tea concentrate! It was very good with a lot of chai flavor. So many places get chai tea wrong but not here. I really enjoyed this chai latte! The bagels were also very good. The outside was a little crusty with a chewy inside. They can be toasted or not. The cinnamon raisin was just right. Dare I say that this is the best coffee in the city?! The Lavender Honey oat milk hot latte SLAPS. I love it. It's simply delicious and refreshing at the same time. The service is impeccable. Everyone is so kind and efficient. The place is gorgeous. I love the big doors of the entrance on Passyunk. I also love the entire aesthetic of the coffee shop. The flooring, the spacing of the seats and tables, everything is just right. The blueberry lemon scone is also amazing. It tastes like the best pop tart you'll ever have. Their coffee has flavor. Sometimes, even in places where they have special "craft coffee", it tastes watered down. Not Three Graces. When you go somewhere for a coffee, you want service that actually cares and knows what they're doing. They're sharp and they make drinks correctly. I've never been to a place where they made Milk foam that thick. It was a really good latte. However, I'm normally a cappuccino person. Really nice, calm indoor space. Edit: I choked on their coffee. I have to say, this staff is amazing. I was there during a rather uncomfortable altercation between an older woman and a young adult. The older woman was going on a racist tirade, and the staff shut it down immediately. Hats off to these employees and the owner, because from what I understand they also told this customer they were no longer welcomed. It feels good to know that this coffee shop is a place that will stand up for POC and other minorities. Maybe it was the knowledge that intolerance wasn't welcomed(or justice being served), but everything tasted amazing. I had a caramel latte with the cutest art, and a vanilla cream beignet. Now, I'm no coffee conneiseur-- but I really enjoyed this latte. The cream in the beignet was definitely more custard-y, but it was delicious, and made a great pair with the latte. I wish I was in Philly more often, because this would be my go to place for a treat! My only gripe is the interior seating. It's just a little awkward and not very comfortable. Once again I'd like to commend the baristas and owner for their actions against an intolerant customer. Coffee was okay but I very much dislike the mocha concept that it has to be a complete dessert! Got the mocha, which is my usual, and always like a dark chocolate flavor that adds slight sweetness and complements a shot well. When I got it, it was very dessert-like and overbearingly sweet. The coffee itself was bitter and didn't complement at all. Thankfully, I asked for a substitute and the staff was super friendly in helping me do so to a Vanilla Latte. However, the latte was just ok. The coffee didn't have a pleasant aftertaste but the vanilla was a good touch, nothing special. I was walking past Three Graces one day, after it had closed, and I stopped to look in the window because it's a beautiful space. The woman behind the counter noticed me and invited me in. She warmly told me to take my time looking around and asked me if I'd like an iced coffee, which I thankfully accepted (it was hot as hades). We then chatted for a bit about the shop -- it turned out that she was the owner. When I reached for my wallet to pay, she very sweetly told me that it was on the house and she was just happy that the shop made me so happy, and that she hoped I'd come back another time. Now, I would have returned anyway, because the coffee is damn good and, as I mentioned, the space is gorgeous. But I just wanted to tell that story because it's just a good way for people to be together in this oftentimes difficult world. read more

I much enjoy coming to this café, the ambience is nice, bagels are always fresh, cafe is clean, and the staff is friendly--but with this being said, I never feel energized after I drink the coffee I pay so much for. I have tried the iced mochas several times, and simply put--it tastes like you put a straw in a bottle of chocolate syrup and are slurping up the sauce. I am always unsure as to whether or not there's truly a shot of espresso or two to go along with it.
