I've been wanting to stop by for a long time, but I've always felt intimidated by the notoriously long waits of brunch spots. However, once I realized you could waitlist online, it was a game changer. We got: Biscuit with fried chicken smothered in gravy: The seasoning on the fried chicken is great, and the chicken itself is juicy and perfect. Pair that with their exceptional gravy and a hearty mouthful of biscuit and it's a done deal. It's a HUGE portion, so come hungry or share. Classic breakfast (forgot what it's called but eggs, protein, biscuit, grits): I got my eggs scrambled and these were probably the best scrambled eggs I've ever had outside of my own home. It was just the way I liked them--definitely scrambled, but juicy, flavorful, and soft. The grits were a crowd favorite on our table--super rich and creamy. Smoked ham was salty (as most smoked ham are) but incredible soft and nice to eat. I thought my favorite would be the biscuit (I'm a HUGE biscuit girl) but it actually wasn't as buttery as I thought. It wasn't bad, but I think I'll take the grits over it any day. I can't believe how delicious this place was. All the plates coming out looked amazing (the sweet breakfast items, wow!) and we are definitely coming back to try the rest of the menu. I'd say this is a 4.5 due to the biscuit falling a little flat (not literally because that thing was fluffy!) BUT service was also great so it's bumping up to a 5. We're so happy to find a go-to brunch spot in this area--definitely give it a try! read more

When you see a business getting great reviews from all your Yelp friends you do like I did and get over there ASAP! A&M Kitchen is a small place (maybe 10 tables?) but very very popular. So do the math and get there early. lol. The servers are tuned in and work very fast and efficiently but don't rush you. Which helps turn the tables for those waiting. I was in a bit of a healthy mood so I went with the bacon avocado spinach omelette with a side of cut fruit. It was delicious. Fluffy eggs, perfectly sautéd spinach with some melted pepper lack cheese added just the right amount of spice. That and a side of fresh cut fruit made for a very tasty and enjoyable breakfast. Every time I visit Woodstock, I have to eat here at least once. Fortunately, I could share this experience with my wife, who had never been before. The Corned beef and potato skillet is the best thing on the menu, but don't pass up an opportunity to get a side of their house-made sausage patties. They are top-notch! The mood was set as soon as we approached the restaurant when a man (owner?) held the door open and welcomed us. The dining room was quaint without feeling crowded. Zoe recommended the corned beef skillet and it did not disappoint! Plenty of shredded corned beef with deliciously seasoned breakfast potatoes with two eggs cooked to perfection. I could only finish half of it and look forward to leftovers. My husband enjoyed the French dip and fries. For a man of few words, he said it was ready, really good. The teenager liked her burrito which was generously packed with sausage, eggs, and potatoes topped with cheese sauce. It was a bit on the pricey side but given it's all made from scratch with high quality ingredients and we have leftovers, it was worth it. We'll definitely return to the A&M Kitchen! read more

A friend and I came in here for breakfast/brunch a couple of months ago and boy were we glad we did. The place was crowded but we didn't have to wait long for a seat. I had a basic breakfast of eggs protein and toast which was good but you MUST try the Bananas Foster French Toast, and make sure you have someone to share it with, it's incredibly delicious and enough for 2. We found this place thanks to a Yelp search and drove about 30 minutes based on the reviews. It was a great decision. The potatoes are perfectly cooked (probably fried?) and seasoned. I can't believe I've never come here before! A&M Kitchen is literally around the corner from me and is now one of my favorite breakfast places! It's a smaller restaurant with only a few options to accommodate larger groups. So be prepared to wait for a table. We went on Mother's Day, so we had the cards stacked against us before we even arrived. It was 1.5 hour wait but I was determined to try it. So we ran across the street to feed the littles a donut to hold them over. Once inside, the restaurant is cozy with lots of wall decor. Our waiter was on top of greeting us and taking our drink orders. Since it was Mother's Day, they shortened their regular menu. I had intended to try the bananas foster French toast, but alas, it wasn't on the menu. Next time! I ordered their pot roast skillet, and wow, was it yummy! Those smile potatoes were the star. They were cooked to perfection with a crunchy outside and seasoned well. It complimented the tender roast beef. And the poached eggs were some of the best I've seen. The whites were fully cooked and the yolks were still runny. My husband ordered the cream cheese and lox Benedict and there was nothing left on his plate. This restaurant is located in a strip shopping center off of Hwy 92 and is fairly small. It contains around 10 tables. We arrived around 12:30 pm and were seated at the last available 2-top table near the kitchen entrance. Our server quickly brought use water and took our drink orders. I ordered coffee and my better half selected the ice water that had been brought to our table. My wife asked the waiter's opinion on two dishes she was considering (Corned Beef Skillet vs. the Fried Chicken Sandwich). He quickly recommended the Corned Beef Skillet. So she ordered the Skillet. I ordered the Smothered Fried Chicken Biscuit. Both our dishes were served hot and eggs were cooked perfectly. My chicken biscuit included a choice of side. At our servers recommendation, I selected the cheese grits. He indicated that their grits were award winning and I agree as they were creamy and delicious with the right amount of salt and cheese. The Corned Beef Skillet was the star of the meal. The shredded corned beef was cooked in-house and the skillet was assembled perfectly. My coffee was good but not great. Our server never came by to over a refill but I asked for a coffee to go and he gladly obliged my request. I think that this restaurant is a great option for breakfast and lunch choices in Woodstock. read more

A&M Kitchen is a total gem! A tiny hole in the wall and it is actual perfection. We don't have tons of great breakfast options nearby, but this one is fantastic! We ordered takeout this morning and were so glad we did! I called ahead and placed the order and the woman who answered the phone was so sweet. We ordered the following: Benny Skillet ($14) Breakfast Burrito ($13.50) Strawberries & Cream Pancakes ($13.50) Cheese Grits ($3.50) Everything we tried was delicious! The cheese grits were perfect and creamy! The pancakes were probably the best I've had ever. They were huge and fluffy and so flavorful. I was sorry we decided to share them because I will dream of these for nights to come. My one complaint is I could have used 3 containers of the strawberry sauce! Yum. The benny skillet was out of this world. The most crispy potatoes and perfectly seasoned. Large chunks of yummy ham and poached eggs. I wanted to bathe in the hollandaise sauce! There was not a lot put on our dish so I will definitely ask for an extra side next time. The burrito was also lovely. I didn't know it came covered or I'd have ordered the sauces on the side, but even so I really really enjoyed it. You definitely need to try A&M if you haven't already! The service was friendly and helpful She gave us the daily specials which almost swayed me but I had my heart set on the strawberry pancakes. The pancakes were huge and filling. They were cooked perfectly. The only problem is that there wasn't enough real strawberries on them. They are are in season right now so I was hoping for more. Great breakfast place in Woodstock. There are not that many around here that are decent, so my family is super happy A&M is in the neighborhood. The wait on the weekend is typically long--a hour or so--and there is not really anywhere to wait except in your car. I do appreciate they text you when your table is ready, and you can even see your spot in line while you wait. If the wait is long you can definitely run an errand or two and be back in time. The inside is small but food is delicious. Portions are large and the potatoes on the skillet are some of the best I have had--how do you get them so crispy?!
