The mood was set as soon as we approached the restaurant when a man (owner?) held the door open and welcomed us. The dining room was quaint without feeling crowded. Zoe recommended the corned beef skillet and it did not disappoint! Plenty of shredded corned beef with deliciously seasoned breakfast potatoes with two eggs cooked to perfection. I could only finish half of it and look forward to leftovers. My husband enjoyed the French dip and fries. For a man of few words, he said it was ready, really good. The teenager liked her burrito which was generously packed with sausage, eggs, and potatoes topped with cheese sauce. It was a bit on the pricey side but given it's all made from scratch with high quality ingredients and we have leftovers, it was worth it. We'll definitely return to the A&M Kitchen!

Southern Fried Chicken and Biscuit was to die for.

Visited this little nook from out of town. We wanted a good Southern style breakfast and A&M Kitchen did NOT disappoint. We ordered the Southern Fried Chicken Biscuit with Sausage Gravy. Literally made me want to move here! It was that good! Thanks to Kelce our waitress who was so charming and welcoming. Want fresh delicious food! Come to A&M in Woodstock, GA!

One-and-Only brunch spot near highway 92 of woodstock besides than J. Christopher's in downtown woodstock. I really wish there's MORE restaurant like this coming near woodstock! food is amazing, i got myself a black coffee with Grits topped with bacon, sausage, or smoked ham, and 2 eggs. *it may get little busy during weekend around brunch hour.

We found this place thanks to a Yelp search and drove about 30 minutes based on the reviews. It was a great decision. The potatoes are perfectly cooked (probably fried?) and seasoned. They were the highlight of the dish for me. The sausage is freshly patted out and the cheese grits were some of the best I've had.

I can't believe I've never come here before! A&M Kitchen is literally around the corner from me and is now one of my favorite breakfast places! It's a smaller restaurant with only a few options to accommodate larger groups. So be prepared to wait for a table. We went on Mother's Day, so we had the cards stacked against us before we even arrived. It was 1.5 hour wait but I was determined to try it. So we ran across the street to feed the littles a donut to hold them over. Once inside, the restaurant is cozy with lots of wall decor. Our waiter was on top of greeting us and taking our drink orders. Since it was Mother's Day, they shortened their regular menu. I had intended to try the bananas foster French toast, but alas, it wasn't on the menu. Next time! I ordered their pot roast skillet, and wow, was it yummy! Those smile potatoes were the star. They were cooked to perfection with a crunchy outside and seasoned well. It complimented the tender roast beef. And the poached eggs were some of the best I've seen. The whites were fully cooked and the yolks were still runny. My husband ordered the cream cheese and lox Benedict and there was nothing left on his plate. The girls all enjoyed their pancakes, French toast and eggs. The housemade strawberry jam was out of this world good! A&M Kitchen, we will be back!

The staff was very helpful in trying to find us something safe to eat because we have multiple medical dietary restrictions. Everything was HOT and delicious! We tried 3 burgers, 1 chicken sandwich, fries and tots all were good. Now this is greasy diner food so don't go in with unrealistic expectations. But this is a family place and a great option for the GF community. We will definitely be back! Just so you know...the chicken tenders, fried pickles and onion rings can be GF but are NOT dairy free. The fries and buns are GF and DF. MY only note we went on a Saturday and the bathroom floors were sticky and the booths needed a better wipe down. I know it's hard to get everything done but a little cleaner would have kicked it up to a 5 Star for me.

I came to review B&B and my review from 2023 was still pending...! Sheesh!…read more Uh, so yea, we have been a few times and heck if I know why we don't go more. But tonight? B&B got their hooks in us! Husband was craving a burger, I wasn't really wanting anything specific; we just didn't want to go major chain. Keep them dollars local, y'know? Help a real person. Anyhoo, I did a quick search and asked if he wanted to try B&B again. Thank goodness he agreed, y'all. My only gripe with B&B is their parking lot. It rivals Trader Joe's for impracticality. So take your compact car! They had the corn hole stowed but heaters were blazing and there were people dining on the patio when we walked in. Better ye than me, folks! We were seated immediately and then we met our delightful server... Early server spotlight for Owen. Such nice energy for a gloomy Wednesday evening, really upbeat without being annoying, the perfect level of attentive. Go when he's there and reward his awesomeness as well! Okay, I decided this afternoon that I wanted a li'l blue plate special for dinner. And Husband wanted a burger. He got a spicy smash burger, the actual name escapes me. Spicy & smashed, she was! There was a good amount of heat from the pickled jalapeños so he took a few off. His recommendation is that they go for a smattering of the diced variety instead. (I've created a monster!!!) He was also very happy with his battered fries. Unless I'm misremembering, they remind me of A&W fries; not as seasoned or as battered as Checkers, but so good. What did I get? You're sweet to ask! I did three sides: garlic green beans, fried Brussels and fried okra. Yes, yes, and yes. They are so wild, I think all three were fresh! Can you even?! You know exactly what I'm talking about when I say frozen fried okra has a taste. If this was frozen ever, they need to patent that technology. The garlic green beans were giving Chinese food but better. Really balanced seasoning, good crispness, flavor. Green, if you can imagine! And the Brussels sprouts... With bacon and sauce... Those leftovers will hate to see me coming. "Leftovers?" I sense you ask incredulously. Yes. Because while perusing the menu online, I saw a nice, big picture of their Butter Toffee Cake. And I was instantly imbued with the knowledge that this cake would heal all my past traumas, pay off my student loans, and give me winning lottery numbers. Only time will tell on all counts. But if you order one thing at that restaurant, I demand it be that cake. The person handling those cakes went to the Hogwarts' Academy of Culinary Wizardry. I can hardly describe it and I have no idea what flavor ice cream is on top except it's the best one. If you like food, but especially butterscotch, or not - you need this cake. I blacked out after that and woke up here on Yelp, so... Please go try that cake.

You would think that it would be the other way around. The drive-thru has some gnarly potholes, and while to some, the yellowing walls, signage & general state of deterioration might be endearing, proof that the restaurant has stood the test of time, this place desperately needs a good polishing. The sausage patty wasn't even the diameter of a Coke can, so there was way more biscuit than sausage, while the "steak" (pretty much a breaded & fried ground beef patty) actually matched the size of the biscuit. At $1.45 & $1.75, respectively, for a *small* hashbrown triangle (about the size of my index finger, and I don't have large hands) & cup of grits, I certainly won't be ordering those again. Without the aid of my home air fryer, the biscuits are no longer crispy and pillowy, but rather soft and doughy, signifying that large batches are made in advance and kept in a warming oven. My order was pretty simple and should have been ready within minutes, but instead I had to wait about 10 minutes in the drive-thru. With that kind of wait, I would expect a freshly baked biscuit, or at least one that had been freshly toasted (see above). Burger Inn used to be one of my favorite breakfasts in Woodstock, but like so many restaurants, the prices are keeping up with inflation, and their quality is declining. It makes me sad that a locally owned establishment has fallen from glory to mediocrity.

Big Easy BBQ - Do Not Waste Your Money or Time Eating Here A…read morefew days ago, I watched a well-known BBQ show that offered a simple rule: if there's no smoke coming from a BBQ restaurant, keep driving. Today, I ignored that advice and regretted it. A friend and I decided to try Big Easy BBQ for lunch instead of visiting one of our usual favorites. After reading positive reviews, we drove more than 30 minutes to see what the hype was about. The first warning sign was the nearly empty dining room at lunchtime. The second was the complete lack of that unmistakable BBQ aroma. Despite both red flags, we stayed. My friend ordered the St. Louis ribs with sides, and I ordered the half chicken with two sides. When I noticed he had barely touched his ribs, he handed me a piece to try. The meat was tough, dry, and tasted as though it had been cooked well in advance and reheated. Unfortunately, my chicken was no better. It also seemed old and reheated rather than freshly prepared. For sides, I chose dirty rice and Cajun BBQ beans. Neither tasted particularly fresh. The dirty rice was acceptable at first but quickly lost its appeal, while the beans were merely average. Having lived in New Orleans for five years, I know what good Cajun and BBQ-inspired food should taste like. This wasn't it. The highlights of the meal were my iced tea and my friend's French fries. Service was equally disappointing. The server checked on us only in passing and showed little interest in our experience. When we requested takeout boxes for the food we barely ate, there was no inquiry about why our meals were largely untouched. We both took our leftovers home, though neither of us was enthusiastic about them. The lesson here is simple: online reviews should never outweigh what your eyes, nose, and instincts are telling you. A busy dining room, the smell of smoke, and trusted recommendations are often better indicators than a collection of glowing ratings. As a final note, my friend and I normally pay separately, but I felt responsible for suggesting this restaurant and paid for both meals. If paying for two disappointing lunches taught me anything, it's this: save your time and money, and eat somewhere else.
