The mood was set as soon as we approached the restaurant when a man (owner?) held the door open and welcomed us. The dining room was quaint without feeling crowded. Zoe recommended the corned beef skillet and it did not disappoint! Plenty of shredded corned beef with deliciously seasoned breakfast potatoes with two eggs cooked to perfection. I could only finish half of it and look forward to leftovers. My husband enjoyed the French dip and fries. For a man of few words, he said it was ready, really good. The teenager liked her burrito which was generously packed with sausage, eggs, and potatoes topped with cheese sauce. It was a bit on the pricey side but given it's all made from scratch with high quality ingredients and we have leftovers, it was worth it. We'll definitely return to the A&M Kitchen!

A&M Kitchen is a total gem! A tiny hole in the wall and it is actual perfection. We don't have tons of great breakfast options nearby, but this one is fantastic! We ordered takeout this morning and were so glad we did! I called ahead and placed the order and the woman who answered the phone was so sweet. We ordered the following: Benny Skillet ($14) Breakfast Burrito ($13.50) Strawberries & Cream Pancakes ($13.50) Cheese Grits ($3.50) Everything we tried was delicious! The cheese grits were perfect and creamy! The pancakes were probably the best I've had ever. They were huge and fluffy and so flavorful. I was sorry we decided to share them because I will dream of these for nights to come. My one complaint is I could have used 3 containers of the strawberry sauce! Yum. The benny skillet was out of this world. The most crispy potatoes and perfectly seasoned. Large chunks of yummy ham and poached eggs. I wanted to bathe in the hollandaise sauce! There was not a lot put on our dish so I will definitely ask for an extra side next time. The burrito was also lovely. I didn't know it came covered or I'd have ordered the sauces on the side, but even so I really really enjoyed it. You definitely need to try A&M if you haven't already! We are looking forward to our next visit so we can try more menu items!

We found this place thanks to a Yelp search and drove about 30 minutes based on the reviews. It was a great decision. The potatoes are perfectly cooked (probably fried?) and seasoned. They were the highlight of the dish for me. The sausage is freshly patted out and the cheese grits were some of the best I've had.

I can't believe I've never come here before! A&M Kitchen is literally around the corner from me and is now one of my favorite breakfast places! It's a smaller restaurant with only a few options to accommodate larger groups. So be prepared to wait for a table. We went on Mother's Day, so we had the cards stacked against us before we even arrived. It was 1.5 hour wait but I was determined to try it. So we ran across the street to feed the littles a donut to hold them over. Once inside, the restaurant is cozy with lots of wall decor. Our waiter was on top of greeting us and taking our drink orders. Since it was Mother's Day, they shortened their regular menu. I had intended to try the bananas foster French toast, but alas, it wasn't on the menu. Next time! I ordered their pot roast skillet, and wow, was it yummy! Those smile potatoes were the star. They were cooked to perfection with a crunchy outside and seasoned well. It complimented the tender roast beef. And the poached eggs were some of the best I've seen. The whites were fully cooked and the yolks were still runny. My husband ordered the cream cheese and lox Benedict and there was nothing left on his plate. The girls all enjoyed their pancakes, French toast and eggs. The housemade strawberry jam was out of this world good! A&M Kitchen, we will be back!

Southern Fried Chicken and Biscuit was to die for.

Visited this little nook from out of town. We wanted a good Southern style breakfast and A&M Kitchen did NOT disappoint. We ordered the Southern Fried Chicken Biscuit with Sausage Gravy. Literally made me want to move here! It was that good! Thanks to Kelce our waitress who was so charming and welcoming. Want fresh delicious food! Come to A&M in Woodstock, GA!

One-and-Only brunch spot near highway 92 of woodstock besides than J. Christopher's in downtown woodstock. I really wish there's MORE restaurant like this coming near woodstock! food is amazing, i got myself a black coffee with Grits topped with bacon, sausage, or smoked ham, and 2 eggs. *it may get little busy during weekend around brunch hour.

RC had approached her with a flier at a gas station, informing her that his restaurant had just opened up. Anyway, I'm ordering my meal, the same meal I always get each time I go. Fried fish (whiting), collards and the baked beans (unmatched). And he goes, "What would you like to drink?".... I'm like, "What do you have?" (Assuming the usual. Sweet tea. Lemonade... I was probably gonna go with sweet tea. ) He lists sweet tea of course, and then hes like, "Kool-Aid, coke, sprite" - IM LIKE WAIT. DID YOU SAID KOOL-AID?......... He's like, "Yeah??..." Im like, "what flavor???.... "Purple?...." I had never heard of that at a restaurant, and quiet frankly, that's all I needed to know. At this point, I literally go nowhere else for soul food. Also, RC is amazing. Really good guy, and his team offer the best service as well. A job well done, always.

Got our table immediately after opting for the valet outside. Once we sat down we ordered some drinks and then of course had to get the corn bread and chicken salad croquets. The bread was delish with the honey butter but the croquettes were such a fun combination and delish! And of course if you come here you have to get the fried chicken and it's definitely plenty for 2 people and the kitchen split it for us which was great. The chicken was juicy and so flavorful and we got the potato salad which was delish. They brought us a small version of the banana pudding as well for the birthday which was so fun and I don't like banana pudding but this one was pretty yummy. Delish!

It could've easily been five,…read morebut we had a strange experience with the service and a few things that just didn't make sense. Our waitress was not good at all. She had zero personality and barely a voice. At one point, she asked my husband if he'd like another Old Fashioned but never asked if I wanted another glass of wine, even though my empty glass was sitting right there. She brought his drink, dropped it off, and walked away again without asking. I ended up going without another drink altogether. Honestly, she sounded sick enough that they probably should've sent her home and had someone cover her shift. I ordered the steak, which came with roasted fingerling potatoes. I would've preferred mashed potatoes, but the fingerlings were perfectly acceptable. My husband ordered the fried chicken, assuming it would come with mashed potatoes since that's pretty standard with fried chicken. We were told mashed potatoes are only served on Wednesdays. That was just weird. They're mashed potatoes--not a once-a-week specialty item. Really? Since my husband wanted potatoes with his chicken, he asked if he could substitute the side it came with for the same roasted fingerling potatoes that were already being served with my steak. The waitress said she would have to ask the chef. She came back and told us the chef said NO. That made even less sense. The potatoes were obviously already being prepared and served in the restaurant, so why couldn't they simply be substituted as a side? He ended up with the very different fingerling potato salad with peas in it instead. He got his potatoes I suppose. The fried chicken itself was very good, as was my steak, which is why I'm still giving the restaurant four stars. But between mashed potatoes apparently being a Wednesday-only event, the chef refusing a very simple side substitution, and inattentive service that left me sitting with an empty wine glass, the whole experience was unnecessarily strange. Great food, but the service and inflexibility were an epic fail. This could've been a five-star experience.
