This is an amazing place! In this day when most service businesses are trying to upsell you or, even worse, make up services you "really need done", like my Subaru dealership did - this is a rare super-ethical oasis! My Subaru dealership "diagnosed" a couple of issues (a totally made-up air-conditioning issue and the need to change the front arm bushings), quoted at ~ $4,500 plus some "strongly recommended" maintenance items, quoted at an additional ~$2,000. Luckily, before agreeing to any of that, I found on the web Rallye Auto Service as a highly rated shop by customers and took my car there. They checked the car all over and said that other than the transmission fluid change, none of the dealership's "urgent repairs" are needed. So, instead of spending ~$6,500 on a 11-year-old car that is not driven much, I spent less than $300. And it was all done within a day. Kudos to these guys for doing the business right and a huge thank you to Paul for being so patient with me after my stressful experience with the dealership. Rallye is where our family plans to have all our cars serviced from now on. Seriously, if your dealership is quoting you some important repairs for a few thousands of dollars, take your car to these guys for a second opinion before you waste your money. I own a 2007 BMW 750Li with about 120K miles. I was driving one day and all was good and the next day there was a transmission fault and an engine fault that had the car in limp mode. I took it into the dealer and without even looking into the issue I was quoted $13,000 for a new transmission and several thousand more for valve work. I said no and took the car home expecting to sell it as is. Couple days later the fuel pump would not run so I could not start the car. A friend told me to have it towed to Rallye Auto and have Scott take a look at it. They worked with me and did a true evaluation. In the end it needed: 1) Crank Sensor Connector (that is what shut down the fuel pump and caused the trany issue) 2) A Valvetronic Computer Module (I went cheap and bought a rebuilt one) Out the door $1107.70. It took a while to diagnose because of how the computers on the car report issues and then the mechanic (if they are good) put eyes on things before replacing $13K compnents (that would not have fixed the issue). I was not in a hurry so they had time to check things, try things, and go through the process one step at a time. Well worth the time. read more

About a month ago, In the middle of a full on down pour of rain I had a flat on the road close to this auto service center. As I walked in, I could see how busy they were. All 8 bays were full, the service advisor was on the phone helping a customer and he still came up to me to let me know he would be right with me. Once he was done with back to back customer service needs on the phone, he came up to me and saw my flat tire. I ask if I could borrow a floor jack so that it would help in making this fix a little faster in the rain. Paul, the service advisor said how about we just change it for you so that you are not in the rain doing the fix. 10 mins later I was changed out and on my way! (remember the comment that all the bays were full), Most places alone would have just put you in line waiting over an hour for a 5 min changeout. Paul's management skills and keen eye could see that a shuffle of jobs for a 5 min fix would give him a customer in the future. What a pleasant surprise Rallye Auto Service (on Hillcrest Rd) was. I've recently moved to Dallas and was "dreading" the experience of taking my car to a shop to get a front end noise diagnosed & repaired. The local NAPA store "highly" recommended Rallye. I stopped by their shop (to schedule an appointment) when Paul asked if he could take it for a test drive. With in 15 minutes, he diagnosed the problem (sway bars), quoted me a "very reasonable" price and had the car in the shop for the repair (as I waited). I was particularly impressed with the cleanliness (of the entire business); courtesy & knowledge of all the employees and the fact they didn't try to sell me other "needed" repairs. I was very pleased with my experience and have found my future auto repair shop. read more

I had HVAC issues and took my 2004 Chevy Trailblazer in to Rallye. Both the shop owner Scott and the service advisor Paul were very familiar with my problems. Air would blow out from the dash vents but not from the floor or defroster vents. The fix for the defroster vent went well but after many attempts to get the floor vents working Paul called and indicated the problems and the cost to fix. Being an older work car I elected not to fix the floor vent issue. Rather than charge me for all the labor and not fixing the floor vents they only charged me for the defroster fix. If you're looking for honest mechanics who know what they're doing and are fair with their charges, Rallye Auto Service is a shop you can trust to do a great job. read more

By far, Rallye Auto Service provides excellent customer service and repair service. We have taken our cars (all four) there for years now. They even cover our extended warranties. They have always been 100% honest in their estimates and repair costs, and many times we have picked up our cars, and the cost was a bit lower than anticipated. The work is completed when promised, and the communication between the shop and customer is unlike any other we have ever experienced, especially compared to dealer. Recently, my 2014, F150 developed a coolant leak at the left side turbo and water pump (72K miles). Ford diagnosed over $3000 to repair, with my extended warranty only agreeing to cover about 60%. I decided to get a 2nd opinion on the magnitude and cost of the repair and knew that Rallye Auto was the best place to get that 2nd opinion, which was reasonably priced. If I didn't have the extended warranty and Ford agreeing to cover the remainder of the repair cost, Rallye Auto would be performing this repair, since I have known of their impeccable service for about 18 years now. Just WOW. Scott, and the entire team are so great. I called to make an appointment for my engine light concern, dropped my car off the next day for a diagnosis. They were very busy (probably because they're awesome and know what they're doing) so I got the results another day later about the diagnosis, pricing, what needs to be completed and what can wait. After reading other reviews, I brought my 2003 t-bird to Scott for two issues. An engine misfire on #5 and a noise coming from the rear of the car. Turned out the engine miss was the tougher problem but Scott kept me informed what he was going to do. After replacing the coils and a rear bearing, my car runs great. Concerned service not, commissioned up sell. Firestone told us we needed all kinds of service during a tire change. Rallye changed the oil and maintenance light went off and after they aired tires they even reset the tire pressure warning light, Firestone people said it was a sensor! read more
