Took my 2025 in for a oil change and was told that there was sludge in the oil so that they could charge me more for the oil change. Oil change was done and the dip stick was not put back in. Caused a huge problem with entire front end of the car being covered in oil. Took it to the dealer to fix everything and had to get another oil change. Went back to speak to the manager that was very rude and yelling at me because I did not bring the car back to them and said it was my fault. They claimed that they called me but I did not receive a call from them. I only received half of what I was requesting which was 80.00. The bill was 155.00. If Kwik Kar is going to have foreigners working in their shops they need to stop trying to get over on women. I could have easily called my son to handle this issue of intimidation. I paid Kwik Kar about 180.00 for an oil change and another 155.00 to the dealership to fix what they messed up. Kwik Kar made the mistake and I'm the one that had to pay for it. They closed the shop with my car inside. Now I'm stuck outside with no ride home. Despite showing that they close at 7pm, I am currently standing outside of their closed shop at 6:27 pm. The absolute worst service ever. These guys don't know what they are doing. They stand around talking and often disappear to only who knows where!! The wait time is long because of the excessive personal chatter.Coincidentally, the guy who has only been plugging tires and replacing used tires with new ones was now working on front end alignment and brakes .They had me waiting all day only to lie about what they did to my vehicle and also what else I needed They claimed to have completed a full alignment , charged me $100 and $70 for 2 used tires. After I returned a 2nd time because the car was still driving/shifting to one side, and the light was on that my tires needed air, the manager was nasty and refused to check the car out and refused to put air in his tires that had never been properly inflated/balanced to 33. I took my car down the road and a mechanic with years of experience put it up and showed me where they had only touched one side of the vehicle so they never aligned the entire front end , liars! I called my credit card company to inquire about what the manager told me: that he could not give a credit without me physically bringing my card back. i had also called other Kwik Kars. It's simply not true. I called him back and asked that he learn to do this. He reiterated that he couldn't. I asked him to call his credit card machine company and have them call me to explain why he cannot issue a credit over the phone. Refused to do that also. At this point, I will have to dispute it with my credit card company because i am not driving an hour to see this jerk. I also plan to let Kwik Industries know that they have a dishonest and unprofessional partner. The manager I dealt with is the owner and his name is RYAN GHOUTIEMEH. DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION. I debated on writing this review, but after getting my car fixed elsewhere and finding out that kwik kar took me for a ride with the price, I decided Im going to say something. A little over two a month ago my car was shaking pretty bad. I took my car to kwik car and was told it was my spark plugs. While they graciously gave me a discount, it doesnt make up for the fact that they played me on the prices. Over $700.00 to replace spark plugs. I naively paid. I come to pick up my car, and all the guys behind the counter look dazed. One guy clearly looking red eyed, goes to hand me my keys... they arent my keys, then another guy goes to hand me a second set... still not my keys. I said " are you sure you didnt leave them in the ignition?" And then a guy ran out to the car and said " yep we sure did." I got my keys and left. Come to find out they went through my CDs , because one that was inside my case was now playing in my CD player as I got into my car. Not only that- the guy left there office phone in my car, AND I actually went back the next day to return it, and was basically just told "thanks." on my own time- i drove back to give them there phone and the guy at the counter made me feel as it THEY did me a favor. Then the worst part- about 2 weeks later... my car is still shaking uncontrollably. I stupidly thought they will fix it, i dropped my car off in the AM around 10, I had to Call them back at 6:30 and see what the status is. They said the car was fine. The guy behind the counter said they reset my computer and it isnt shaking anymore. Then the guy behind the counter tried to tell me it would have been a $300.00 job. But they wanted to help me out. Total BS. If anything i already paid and those parts SHOULD be under warranty. A month later and my car is still shaking. Thankfully I found another auto shop to do the job right. Brought my vehicle here on lunch and was immediately greeted at the counter and within two minutes, my truck was in the back for an oil change. Didn't take too long, but of course (like any half decent car place), he told me of the other things I needed like new brake fluid, new air filter and rear differential fluid. I knew all of these, but declined the service, requesting he note them on my receipt. He did accept my declination, and I was done. DO NOT GO HERE! The manager is terrible. Rude as it gets. Doesn't not really care to help. They fixed something as simple as a headlight and apparently "fixed" the wiring too. However it stopped working within a month. When I took it back, the overweight manager was not approachable and didn't want to help at all. He said it would take 2hrs to check a head light. Obviously he was trying to avoid taking responsibility for the incomplete job they did. I thought it was going to be a quick fix and did not have 2 hours to spare so I had to leave. Then I made the mistake of getting an oil change here and told me about power steering issue with my car and was not treated professionally at all. I asked a simple question as if it's safe to drive and his response was "it's not giving you trouble now right" "we will call you with an estimate". I wouldn't even take a hot wheel car here to fix. I'm shocked why Kwik Car franchise hasn't taken action on this poorly run location. I see several other Kwik cars with good rating and this one has terrible rating. Just got inspection done at this location 1 week after my vehicle had oil and services completed by the dealer. I was told after the inspection that I was out of coolant and that my brake fluid needed to be replaced. They offered to complete for an additional fee. I turned them down and went to the dealer. The dealer showed me my coolant level and a sample of the brake fluid while I watched. It was perfectly normal. Be cautious if using this place I believe they are misleading you on recommendations. read more

The Kwik Kar Quick Rip-off I dropped my Ford Escape at Kwik Kar for my annual state required inspection. A half-hour later I received a call that my Serpentine Belt needed to be replaced since it was original to the car and needed to be replaced. It could "snap at any moment" and break the alternator causing a much more expensive repair. I was told my power steering needed to be flushed as the fluid was dirty and "hadn't been changed in a very long time". I later spoke to my father in-law who owns a reputable mechanic shop, is very thorough, and has performed all repairs to my car until Kwik Kar. He reminded me and I reviewed the receipts where he had changed the Serpentine Belt 1.5 years ago and replaced the rack and pinion with a power steering flush just 6 weeks ago. Besides ripping me off by advising and providing unnecessary work Kwik Kar over charged to. My father in-laws shop normally charges $65 to replace a Serpentine Belt while Kwik Kar charged me $130. Don't make the same mistake I did and trust the advice or work of the thieves at Kwik Kar. read more

I had just got the car serviced the same morning, but had a coupon for this place ($7 off). The guy was giving me crap about my wipers (which were fine at the other place-they checked). He made me buy the passenger side. Then he OPENS my hood and starts tinkering around?? WTF? You don't need to pop the hood for an inspection. He was looking for other stuff to fix? Went here for the first time. I didn't have a very good experience. I went here the day after new years day to get my oil change and inspection. I did that and the wait was about 90 minutes. Also, the $8.99 extra service that the mechanic recommended was actually $89.99. My $60 trip became a $140.00 one. The lady at the counter apologized and tried to rectify the situation she apologized and had mentioned that this has happened before and she'll make sure she gets admonished for his transgression. That really didn't help me at all. They also had made an error to begin with. The mechanic thought i just wanted an oil change. After the oil change and the 8.99 service was completed they discovered that i told him that i wanted an inspection too (lol it was way past due). Regardless, probably won't go back again. I took my car there because it was pulling to the right and I also needed to have an inspection done. The mechanic said an alignment would fix the problem ($60, even though they had a huge banner that said $39.99...), and then the inspection ($30) would be done afterward. After they completed the alignment, a different mechanic started the inspection and the first guy came in to tell me that I needed two new front tires, two tie rods, new rims, that I had a problem with my fuel pump, and other things. So... I'm not even a mechanic, but I know that if you need new tires, you have to get those installed BEFORE the alignment is done, not afterward. I mentioned this to the mechanic, and he said I would have to have a second alignment done if I got the tires. Why would they not tell me this before they did the first alignment?! Then the second mechanic comes in and says that he has to fail me on the inspection because of my front tires. Once again, why did they wait until after they did all of the services to tell me I need new tires? Simply because then they could attempt to charge me twice! So I left, and my car was driving horrifically after their "alignment" - my car was all shaky any time I got over 45 MPH, and it was jerking all over the place. I don't know what they did, but it was considerably worse after my $60 "alignment." Flash forward 4 days - I take my car to Goodyear, they said I need two new front tires (tie rods and rims and everything else Kiwk Kar said I needed was fine, who would have guessed). They replaced the tires, did an alignment, and my car is driving perfectly. STAY AWAY FROM THIS KIWK KAR! I really wish I had read the reviews on here first. This was definitely my worst experience at a mechanic, and I hope nobody else gets cheated out of money and lied to about the condition of their car again (and based on other reviews, there are lots of us). I even wrote in to complain, and never heard a single thing back from them. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! read more

New owner is rude, disrespectful, cowardly, and incompetent. I had an inspection here and instead of telling me it failed he decided to just charge me and not inform me of repairs needed. After paying, I walked out to my car to find my same, soon to be expired inspection sticker. I walked back in to inquire and he became defensive when I asked him what was needed to pass my inspection. Actually the worst about them is not the sub-par service they provide - it is their attitude: indifferent, ignorant, on the border of fraudulent. They look like they do you a favor by charging half the price dealers charge, but you still end up at a dealership because they can't get work done. I had them do alignment to my German SUV and they told me that there is damage that prevents it done. Dealer just did it. I had to visit this guys two times after this to get my money back.
