It's good to know that my childhood Rally's is still up,& running after doing 8 years in prison. Unfortunately, the employees that work the late shift @store#4100 are going to put that location out of business. The food is as I remember, two thumbs up. Getting out to find out that they have this cool rewards app that actually helps you save money, as well as give you great deals on food that actually do the job & fill you up, that was all just a plus that got me to keep coming back. Now, as to why I would recommend Rally's to any one, why not? There great! I just simply wouldn't recommend going to Store#4100 located 2001 E. Pacific Coast Hwy Long Beach, CA 90804 About a week or so ago, I went to said location;"Being that it's one of the only locations in the city", with a set of coupons. These coupons were to save me $15, if the order were to have been placed correctly. Instead I was out $10 of my own money,& to top it off I come to find out that I had been rewarded $5 on the Rally's App and that the employee intentionally charged both me and my app taking the $5 with out my expressed consent. When confronting the employee; Mind you she's the manager", asking her why did she take the $5 out? She responded, that she didn't use the buy one XL fries, & get one free. When I tell her that she should have taken the coupon, not the $5, she proceeds by claiming that my lack of communication skills was to blame for the whole ordeal, & that next time I should learn how to place an order. What brought me to my boiling point was the employee that had originally attempted to take my order was now standing beside his manager, smiling as she proceeds to insist that I should have been more accurate on my order. SMH! I couldn't have been any more clearer as to what I wanted, & how I wanted it. My recommendation to those of you looking to try a different style of burgers, & fries. I don't really ever do this, but feel the need to to warn others Do not, under any circumstance, use their mobile ap. If anything is not in stock, they will cancel your order, which sounds fine, until you realize that cancelling your order does not refund your order. They will have you call an 800 number, then after an hour or so, they will tell you that your request for a refund will be sent to another department, they will not let you speak to this department, and will tell you to wait 4 to 5 business days for them to call you back. A week and a half later, after realizing they have not called you back yet, you can call them again to see if any progress is made, spoiler alert, no progress will have been made, they will tell you that you will have to wait ANOTHER 4 to 5 business days. Now at this point, you may be losing patience, and yes, I was, so, after demanding to speak to anyone who might actually be able to help me, for another 30.minutes or so, they will finally cave and let you speak to a supervisor, of course that's after they told you a supervisor was unavailable. The. The supervisor will tell you the same thing everyone else told you and that you just have to wait, until you are.more insistant, then the supervisor may tell you that he's looking into it, and it a appears that the refund is already in progress and is waiting for your bank to approve it. Awesome, except, the bank never got any kind of request, in fact, another week later, when you call yet again, much more upset this time, they will ask you to hang up and they will call you back that day. Except they don't call you. The lady at the store who told you you couldn't get an in store refund will call you and tell you that you have to go to the store to get your refund and it had to be the same store you ordered at, even if you live over an hour away, which I do. I ask her what I need to have with me to prove it's me, she says just tell the people working and they will know, now, we are getting somewhere. Except when you do make it back out to Long Beach and are able to stop by and get your refund, they tell you they don't do in store refunds. When the blood finally clears from your vision and you can hear something besides your heart beating in your ears a few minutes later, you explain everything that's already happened, and how much of a nightmare getting a refund has already been, and that the GM told you to come to the store, she will call her district manager. The district manager will tell her not to give you a refund, and at that point you, like me, might ask to speak to said district manager and the lady working will say no. You may demand that something needs to be done now, because this is ridiculous, then maybe she will reach her GM and the GM will tell her to give you your refund and then finally, after over a month, they will give you 12 dollars, which wasn't even the full amount of the receipt, It's obserd any company working in 2024 has such a shitty process of refunding a customer who did nothing wrong other than use an app. Food is fine, service is the worst I have ever had read more

My first impression of Rally's was - "it's a mom and pop burger shack with a fast food feel." I now know that it's simply a fast food joint. A fast food joint that's leaps and bounds beyond McDonald's but still middling somewhere between a Jack In The Box or Carl's Jr. I was pleasantly surprised by the options in their value menu. Lots of 2 for $3 and 2 for $4 options. I went with the 2 for $5 Bacon Chophouse burger. It was a double-patty, bacon, cheese, and shoestring onion affair. I also ordered the "loaded" seasoned fries. Seasoned french fries topped gooey fake cheese, ranch sauce and bacon bits. So good you need a spork to eat it. Their warm cinnamon and sugar-encrusted apple pies demolish their closest competitor. They're only 2 for $1 and they taste like an apple pie-churro hybrid. Everything was filling, like most fast food. Hours later, I still don't feel the need to chug Imodium. This might turn some people off, but there were lots of pigeons in the outdoor seating area. I had my baby godson with me, and he got a real big kick out of feeding them his bread crumbs after he was full from eating his hot dog. It made me quit feeling like such a wimp for being worried about the flying rodents. There are still so many things I need to try on the menu. I have to admit this place can be really scary at night. I would not recommend coming here alone!! My bf and I decided to go to Rally's right when they are about to close. We were craving fries. We ordered the honey bbq wings combo with fully loaded fries instead of the regular one. Also we got the garlic parmesan fries. Once our order was ready, we looked inside but got the wrong order. We got regular fries instead of the fully loaded fries. So my bf went and ask them to exchange it. Terrible service. KEVIN the drive through attendant quite possibly has the WORST customer service skills I have ever experienced. Impatient, condescending, and just plain RUDE. I had ask KEVIN politely to repeat the total and he literally SCREAMED my total at me. When I asked KEVIN for extra ketchup, he ROLLED HIS EYES at me before getting it. This was my first time at a Rally's, I ordered #1 combo large. I also ordered their bacon burger from the dollar menu. The more expensive sandwich that came with the combo, tasted the same quality as the dollar menu burger. The size of fries seemed really small to me, but my drink was for sure unmistakably a large. It was weird the girl asked if I wanted a large soda and I had just told her to make the combo large. I said: "doesn't the large combo already make the fries and drink large?" I ordered food and while waiting at the window the employees were taking and laughing amongst themselves while my food was sitting and waiting to be handed to me. That was issue number one. Issue number two is BEYOND the worst- they charged my order for $11 something dollars AND then charged me $4.95 for someone else's order. I tried calling them but no one answers. I called corporate and was given a reference number and was told the district manager would contact me within the week... No surprise, I didn't get a a response. I called back and asked for the district managers number but was only given an email address, I emailed them and to this day (1 month later) I have not received a response or resolution.
