    Cajun Cheese Fries

The MVP at this location is just perfect each time I eat here. The fries are plentiful, crispy, and tasty. They have vegetarian options as well. We loved it when we lived in Long Beach and now when we visit LB we make sure to stop by here!

Gotta love a great local spot! Was in Long Beach to visit a friend and decided to stop by MVP's Grill & Patio. Was in the mood for a burger, so I went with The Fridge, which is a burger with pastrami and Swiss cheese. This was a legitimately great burger! Every burger comes with 1/3 lb patty, lettuce, tomato, Cajunaise dressing, and raw or grilled onions (I went with the grilled onions). You can definitely tell the quality of the burger is raised by the fresh ingredients and tasty meat. My friend ordered a Harry Careyclub Wins and a Jimmy Foxx. Had a bite of both and they were both great as well. Staff here are great, no complaints from me. Definitely a great spot for some casual eats! Would love to try some of the other items on the menu.

This place feels like stepping into an old-school burger joint in the best way possible. No gimmicks, just burgers that know what they're doing. I ordered the George Foreman V burger with fries, and it delivered. Classic, juicy, with a twist in the chipotle sauce gave it a smoky kick that made it stand out without trying too hard. Great portions too which hit the spot because I showed up hungry! The service was fine. Not overly chatty, but honestly that kind of adds to the old-school vibe. This place isn't here to impress you with small talk, it's here to feed you well. If you want a legit burger with a little personality, this is your spot.

A long-standing staple for the community. I've gone here since high school, went through college (csulb) going here... absolutely must try. The burgers have been consistently good and well portioned for YEARS. They're generous with their sizes for their burgers and their fries (a full order of fries can feed 3-4 people easily). The prices have unfortunately continued to go up, but that's expected with inflation. I'd still recommend it despite the price. Service is as good as you'd expect for a burger stand. Good, but don't expect fine dining service. You're ordering at a window, keep that in mind. There is only outdoor seating, which can be brutal in extreme weather. Still worth it though. The ambiance gets loud because you're outside, near a car repair shop, and also near the airport so planes are going to continue to fly over. It's great! I recommend this spot for a chill, laidback local burger joint. It's been a staple for Long Beach locals for years and will continue to be.

Great neighborhood spot for hearty burgers & good vibes! MVP Grill & Patio in Long Beach is the place to hit up for decent burgers and sandwiches. I came here on a weekend afternoon and was not disappointed. The menu is huge -- all the burgers named after famous athletes, which is a fun touch. I went with the Christian Ronaldo sandwich and it was juicy, fresh, and cooked perfectly. The Burger was decent but I find it lack in seasoning. The portions are generous, especially the fries -- you won't leave hungry! Their fries are crispy and seasoned just right, and the patio seating is laid-back and perfect for people-watching or hanging out with friends. Staff was friendly and the food came out fast even though they were pretty busy. Parking can be a little tight, but it's worth it once you get your food. Definitely recommend if you're in the area and want a chill spot for a burger, sandwich, or just to hang out.

Food is good, portions are generous, girl the counter who took our order was very kind. She brought us extra sauces and was overall friendly. We ordered the Cristiano Ronaldo pastrami and chicken sandwich with Cajun fries and a bacon cheeseburger (I forgot the name )

First time here and I was desperately craving a good burrito that didn't cost me an arm and a leg. I happen to drive past MVP's Grill while heading to Trader Joe's and I stopped by hoping they'd have a burrito. I went in blind not knowing what they served and I ordered the Jorge Campos burrito with no beans. Omg it was absolutely delicious and the asada was nice and tender and great flavors. I look forward to going back and trying their breakfast burrito next!

Always a great experience whenever I'm here at MVP's! Absolutely one of my fav spots/locations in town to get a good fixin. I typically phone in my order to save some time & the service is always a plus! Staff are usually friendly & informative. Speaking from my personal experiences, the food always comes out fresh, delicious & most importantly, consistent! They also have a wide variety of sandwiches & burgers + more to choose from. My usual order is the Vitale sammy on toasted sourdough bread with a half order of their Cajun fries! More than enough for two people to share or for one verrrry hungry human lol *don't forget to add a side of their Cajunnaise sauce!* Cajun seasoning + mayo? so amazing! So if you're looking for a new place to try, I highly recommend MVP's! Bring the crew & fam! :)

Came here because the restaurant I was headed to was closed. Searched on yelp what else was around the area and came up with this location that used to be a tasty freeze back in the old days. I was definitely surprised, will definitely go back and I had the Mary Lou Retton sandwich which was out of this world.

    TACO

The taco was disappointing, didn't have a good taste to it. Tortilla was also dry and stale. Didn't like how I ate there and had to pay for a new drink for a refill on the fountain drink. I don't enjoy the customer service at all MVP lost my respect as a loyal customer. I have been supporting MVP since they opened on 4th street many years ago.

For starters, we got the Parker House Rolls, which comes with truffle butter, local citrus honey, and grana padano cheese. These rolls were so fluffy and flavorful. We also ordered the hummus, which was so rich and creamy, and the oysters from the raw bar. For the main, we ordered the Smoked & Glazed Pork Chop, Fish & Chips, and the Wedge salad to share. And let me tell you, that everything was so good. The Smoked & Glazed Pork Chop came with a whole show, where staff would bring out the dish in a smoke-infused glass dome and open the dome when presented on the table so we can smell and see all the smoke. Not only was it beautiful to look at, but it tasted just as beautifully. The meat was melt-in-your-mouth tender, and the rainbow swiss chard, cheddar grits, candied pecans, and avocado honey helped balance out all the juiciness from the meat. They use haddock fillet for the Fish & Chips, which was fried to perfection. The Wedge Salad is what actually knocked my socks off! This was one of the best wedge salads that I've ever had. It had your key ingredients: iceberg, buttermilk dressing, red onion, crumbled egg, tomato, bacon gastrique, blue cheese, dill, chives - but something about this salad was different! It was so refreshing, flavorful--just everything you want in a dish. We ended the dining experience with their Peach Cobbler Hand Pie, which came with streusel, pistachio crumble, salted caramel, and vanilla ice cream. Can't wait to go back when I'm in the area!

She then said you and your party can get out or I can call the cops. When I asked the clear manager in his outfit, requesting who the fake GM was, he along with the Bartender on shift played stupid as to supply her name. Margarita clearly was not a GM but felt that she needed to keep creating an unnecessary situation. The situation was already de escalated when he complied with what she asked. Do better with your staffing saint and second.

They've a waterfront location with the most lush environs and sumptuous atmosphere. Dark & tranquil with a hint of sexy and the bay views - come on now. Ambiance is nice, very romantic by the water, you can see the sunset while enjoying cocktails or a glass of wine. Food was good, I had the miso glazed mahi-mahi, I would prefer a side of salad instead of 2 cups of mashed potato, sauce was a little on the sweet side for my taste. My husband had the Scottish salmon, and he cleaned his plate, the sweet potato hash w/ pancetta was yummy.. it enhanced the taste of the salmon. My sister in-law had the pan seared scallops, I also think that the side should be optional instead of rice and there was only a few pieces of the scallops. My brother his friend had the Wasabi crusted filet mignon, which they've enjoyed but also should have options for the sides, not everyone like mashed potato, the mushrooms was a bit salty, maybe better with shitake & asparagus. We have the calamari and warm fried brie which were delicious :) Maybe they can add the fried tofu as an appetizer instead of brussels, just a suggestion. I've had the Tahitian Sunset which was too sweet for my taste but you can taste the flavor of the passion fruit , the strawberry fields was better, maybe next time I will try the cucumber crush... I will highly recommend this place, you will definite enjoy yourself with a singer/band performing while you enjoy the food.

This place popped up, and it was happy hour. So we thought why not. We got lucky and found parking close (rare for that street). And walked over and immediately loved the vibe. We walked in and were greeted immediately, and then brought upstairs. The decor on the way up was awesome. The old school nature, with paintings and abstract vintage pieces.. love. It felt like we were in an old industrial building. We were surprised that it was pretty empty when we got up there. We sat at the bar, and love the decor upstairs too. There's a view of the street from up there as well that's beautiful. The bartender greeted us fairly quickly, and we each ordered a speciality cocktail on their happy hour. Both were delicious. If you're looking for a quieter meal, this may not be the best night to visit. The food itself was good, but the wait was much longer than expected. We waited almost 40 minutes for our order. Unfortunately, my burger was also made incorrectly. I ordered the Bacon Bleu Burger but was served a different burger instead. Not quite sure what it was, but it had mushrooms and American cheese. Since we had already waited so long, I decided to just eat it rather than send it back. Overall, the food was enjoyable, but between the long wait, the incorrect order, and the portion size for the price, the experience was a bit hit-or-miss. I'd be willing to give them another try, especially for the Don Chendo burger, but I'm hoping for a smoother experience next time.
