Amazing Service!!! First time here, and employees very friendly and respectful offered help in choosing a menu item. Very helpful answering our questions on food items and popular choices. To top it off, dining area was very well maintained and all takes were clean. Will definitely come back again!!! Thank you!!

This place is located in a small plaza with limited parking right next to a freeway exit. The restaurant is small to moderately sized with a couple of tables. A third of the dining room is taken up by the kitchen where you can see the workers make and package the food. To the right of the entrance is the ordering tablets along with a tip jar. There are 2 beverage machines, one containing Pepsi products and the other containing their homestyle lemonade, strawberry watermelon, and mango lemonade. The interior was clean and brightly lit with a few signs that add a bit of humor to the location. I ordered some tenders but have had their nuggets in the past with hot level spice. Order do take a while, 10-15 minutes, since they make them fresh and usually have a queue of orders. The chicken is seemingly fried, dunked in some sort of liquid (oil?) then powdered with your level of spice. It has nice crunch, a good juiciness, but an uneven coat of spice. In this way I prefer the nuggets over the tenders since there is more likelihood of missing seasoning with the tender. Hot provides a very excellent kick, and their sauce does taste pretty good (like comeback sauce). Pretty good chicken. Just a note, the fountain water tastes a little funky. I would avoid it.

Why have I not been here sooner! Nice little chicken spot. Stop by this past Sunday to order take out. Smaller Parking lot, but we found a spot out front. The staff that took our order was very nice and welcoming. She was so helpful with our order. I ended up getting the crimson onion Joey style. This thing was huge !! So good and was freshly made while we waited. Chicken was perfect and juicy. I got The medium level and had a kick Of spicy. Fiancé got the 3 pc tenders and same as chicken in my order, tasty and juicy - chicken was Cooked perfectly. He got 2 pieces hot spicie level and 1 piece burn baby burn. The hot was spicyyy! Inside was clean and had lots of seating. Also offered bar style seating where you can see them making your food . I want to return to try the wrap And he wants to try a chicken sandwich

The girl at the front was really sweet and kind, which made for a nice first impression. When I arrived, the staff seemed a bit busy and unaware that I was there for a scheduled review, so the beginning was a little bumpy. Additionally, it took about 43 minutes for our food to arrive, which felt quite long. 10/10 The Crimson Sandwich + Fries - What truly saved the experience was the food. It was incredibly delicious. The sandwich was the biggest chicken sandwich I've ever seen in my life. It honestly felt like we got a full chicken sandwich plus a chicken strip with how much chicken we got on that patty. The chicken was perfectly fried, crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The coleslaw balanced it out really well, and you can choose your preferred spice level. The fries were good, but nothing particularly memorable as the chicken sandwich was definitely the star of the meal. 10/10 Mac and Cheese - I love mac and cheese, and this one did not disappoint. It was super cheesy and made a delicious pairing with the chicken sandwich. Cost - The Crimson Sandwich $14.00, Fries $6.00, Mac and Cheese $6.00.

This is the best Nashville style hot fried chicken that I've had in LBC. Much better than Dave's. Parking at this location can be tough because of multiple restaurants. Service is quick and friendly. The prices are decent. The food is excellent. The chicken is perfectly fried and still juicy inside. I tried medium which was not hot at all, so next time I will try the hot or extra hot one. The fried onion was great but very hard to eat! If you are a fan of hot fried chicken, you need to check them out.

Great food and customer service 10/10 experience, definitely will be back

Food was great and the service The cooks are clean and sweet, I will definitely be back

We were in town for the week and were craving a chicken sandwich. We found this spot across our way and decided to give it a go. The customer service was on point. Very informative since it was our first time. We ordered the two chicken sliders that came with a scoop of crinkle fries for $18! We also ordered the blooming onion which was amazing. The sauce the sandwiches and blooming onion came with is amazing. The chicken is flavorful. Glad we stopped by! Will be stopping by again when we return.

I wish I had a before and after shot, but you can look at their advertisements. The chicken used to spill 3 or 4 inches over the bun.

Beware!! Shrinkflation has hit Crimson Coward!!! The sandwich is so much smaller than it used to be. I could have gone to Ch... Fi... for half the price. I wish I would have known so I could have ordered more food. But alas not all has fallen so short because the chicken tenders are still the same. Just stay away from the sandwich if you value your dollar.

The 2025 Winner of the World's Saddest Onion, hands down.

*Update: Their manager was really nice and responsive when I reached out. Bumping it up a star. --- *cue the ultra sad violin music* It takes a lot to get me to write tragedy on Yelp, but like...our crimson onion was like 1/2 uncooked, with like the core of the onion still intact. Pretty sure it would have crunched had I bitten it. After years and years of hype and social media influence, a pillar of raw onion in the middle of my Crimson Onion broke my heart. The sandwiches were delicious BUT our boxes weren't labeled so we had to play spicy chicken roulette -- which I lost, making the whole situation even more sad. Luckily the food was delicious (minus the straight up onion column), but the experience overall was kind of a major bummer.

If you are in the mood for a good chicken sandwich, Crimson Coward is worth visiting. I ordered The Crimson, their signature sandwich, with a side of fries. The sandwich was incredibly fresh. I could practically hear the hot oil crackling. It was also huge. The chicken hung so far past the bun that I could have made a second sandwich with it. Most importantly, it was delicious. I chose mild since I was not sure how hot their spice levels were, and I was on my work break, so I did not want to test my limits. I guess that makes me the coward in this scenario. My coworker might be allergic to capsicum, so she chose Country Style, which has zero heat but is still full of flavor. The fries were tasty as well. They were crispy, fresh, and well seasoned, which made them a perfect complement to the sandwich. For those who care, they offer Pepsi products. I served myself a half sweet tea and half pink lemonade mix, which was the perfect drink to go with my meal. There were a few tables available, and the AC was nice and cold. That is definitely helpful if you order something super spicy. The staff were very friendly, although I think they could use a bit more help. Only two people were running the entire store during lunch. One person took orders while the other prepared them. This did not affect my visit too much, but I can see it becoming an issue if they get any busier. Everything is made fresh, and hiring at least one more person would likely improve the experience. All in all, this place is great and definitely worth a visit.

The Crimson sandwich hot; some fries and a waffle piece that were being shared!

Finally got to try this place after they added their Long Beach location--in the past several years Long Beach sort of exploded with Nashville hot chicken spots. Crimson Coward knows what it's doing and is a great addition to the arsenal! What I like is that their menu isn't overwhelmingly large, which makes it easy to choose. They mostly pretty much have tenders and some wings, although the sandwich is nice in that it is not just a tender slapped onto a bun (although they do have a slider that is that style). Something you might not see off the menu (but apparent from pictures/once you try to order) is that the tender combos etc. come with some comeback sauce, so don't accidentally order extra. Personally I got the Crimson sandwich with Hot level spicy and it is pretty spicy--kicked my ass pretty good but still tasty. Most places seem to be skimping out on the spice a little bit over the years so glad to know the spice is still potent here! I would probably stick with mild if you're afraid of going too spicy though since I can totally see medium still being pretty intense. I like that they have fried pickles which you don't see around too often; the mac and cheese was nice and creamy and pretty flavorful. I tried a piece of the waffle (you get 4 pieces with an order) and it was nice and chewy and dense--like a lot of chicken and waffles, don't expect it to be crispy! They serve it with a side of maple syrup. I ordered for pickup but eating 15 minutes later the food still tasted fresh and warm. Would definitely come back if craving Nashville hot again! The inside seating is really nice and the vibes are great too. Service was fast and really friendly, and my pickup order was in and out in minutes.

    Do u think it's mild ?

I'm pregnant and I've been craving for crimson . I ordered medium I know It my fault I order last min, but we should know how the spicy and mild one looking like . I just hope no matter how is the time is we should think the satisfaction

Deep Dish pizza is one of my fave things to eat, but I don't find places that serve it or at least do it well. I grew up eating deep dish pizza out here on the west coast, so I'm more used to and like the west coast style, as opposed to the true Chicago style where they cut their thin crust pizzas in little squares. It's a pie, cut it in triangles like a pie! They use too much cornmeal in the crust too, but that's just me. I first had deep dish stuffed pizza at Zachary's in Berkeley, so I kinda compare everything else to that. It was another long day of work and the crew just wanted to stay at the hotel and have me go out and get them some of this deep dish pizza. Ok, I'll keep the crew happy. Our group of four had a chance to stop by for an early dine-in dinner, and found the chicken to well prepared and tasty. Originally founded in 1976 in Los Angeles by a enterprising franchisee who wanted to create his own fast food brand, Louisiana Famous Fried Chicken soon became very popular with LA residents. As sometimes happens with immigrant communities by word of mouth and 'paying it forward', the burgeoning Cambodians began to be the majority owners of franchisees, until it resulted in the brand being sold to a Cambodian in 2009. Considering the largest concentration of Cambodians outside of Cambodia is in Long Beach, California, I wanted to try this particular location. They also sell donuts here, and my credit card bill actually listed the donut shop as the vendor...this for me is not a selling point, but was not noticeable during our visit. It's a walk-up set-up, where you order/pay for your food through security windows. We ordered a 12-piece family combo for $35.45, which included 3 pieces of breast/thigh/wing/leg, 2 small orders of fries, a coleslaw and 6 rolls. They also sell fried catfish and shrimp, so got a 4 pc shrimp ($3.85). They only sell drinks by cans or bottles, so got 4 cans of Coke/Pepsi/Squirt. It is clearly stated that each order is fried fresh, taking about 20 minutes. Our order was ready in 15 minutes, and we decided to dine-in (a small makeshift outdoor dining area with temporary tables was set-up). The chicken was well brined and had been fried well (leaving plenty of space between the chicken), with the outer coat being crunchy with a little bit of spice. For me it tasted very similar to the popular national chain, but with more consistency. The 'small' fries were not that at all, but very large...with one being enough to feed the four of us. The fries looked underdone, but were not. There were no condiments available, so the saving grace was the thin hot sauce that you could dip your fries and chicken into. The rolls were forgettable, and the coleslaw was grocery store quality (which I actually like). In fact, the chicken and sides reminded me of what you could get at a grocery store deli, except always getting the chicken fresh, instead of ones that have been fried too many to a basket and sitting too long under a heat lamp. Freshness definitely matters here. There was plenty of food for the 4 of us, with us taking half of the meal home. It reheated very well, providing us a good lunch the following day.

Instead of properly explaining anything, the worker immediately said, "No more orders, online only," with a rude attitude and zero professionalism and this was still 45 minutes before closing. No apology, no customer service, no attempt to explain respectfully. Just dismissive and unprofessional behavior. Owners, you seriously need to train your staff better because employees like this ruin the reputation of your business. I understand workers may not care the same way owners do, but the way this employee treated customers was completely unacceptable. I'll still support the restaurant because I know this isn't how the business usually operates, but management needs to address the worker who was there on May 13th at 10PM. Completely gross and unexpected experience.
