Came here twice, once for happy hour and once for dinner. We don't really have too much Cajun food in Austin so it was nice to come out with coworkers to eat at this restaurant. The service was prompt and we all got our order in quickly after a long day of work travel. I ordered the Shrimp St. Charles, it was delicious but didn't expect it to be fried. If we come back to lufkin will come back here for their hospitality and food!

This place always has a packed parking lot, but we were seated right away. Our server was really nice, but I wish he had kept up drink refills more. I ordered the bacon wrapped filet with a side salad, my biggest complaint is that the filet was supposed to be medium rare but it leaned more rare. The filet was a bit chewy and hard to get through, but the flavor was good. The right side of the restaurant has a bar area with live music and that's pretty cool. Overall it was okay, maybe I just need to try a different dish next time.

Had a couple really good meals here, with excellent service. The rolls with butter were light and tasty. One night had snapped over a meaty cajun rice with lemon butter sauce and grilled shrimp. I enjoyed this, especially the sauce over the fish - very good. Had a "small" crawfish etouffee, which was sizable in itself (not a small cup, it was a real bowl) and full of crawfish. Another night had the seafood feast, which was also all good as well, I liked their hot sauce over the oysters and catfish. Service great both visits. Had unsweet tea both nights, good strong brew and fresh, not watered down. All round enjoyed dining here

We went to Ralph & Kacoo's for a pleasant afternoon in Lufkin, Texas. The restaurant was very clean with a nice mix of Cajun music playing in the background. The Cajon seafood was very verry good rating 4.5 stars. The service was so very good from start to finish rating a full five stars. I will return again to Ralph & Kacoo's again when I want a very good total experience if fine dining.

Went to have dinner there on Friday night with the group of people. I ordered the fried crawfish tails. When the food runner with the long bushy black hair brought us our food, I asked him could I have some tartar sauce and he said he would bring it right out. Everybody else was eating and finished their meal and our waiter had not come back and neither had the food delivery person that promised me the tartar sauce. So I just sit there and waited. By the time the waiter came back to our table to check on us, everyone at the table had finished eating and I was still waiting on the tartar sauce. Mt meal was cool now. It just absolutely ruined my whole meal. I hate it when food servers say they will get you something and then they just disappear back into the kitchen and forget about you. I brought this to the waiters attention once he came back to our table to no avail. I will not be going back to this restaurant.

Best seafood in town. Great atmosphere. Alittle pricey. I love the Banana Fosters Cheesecake. The kids love to order Gator tail.

Pro tip there is a huge amount of road construction around the restaurant so plan accordingly. We were greeted and sat promptly. Karen our server came and greeted us and got our drink order. I went to the restroom, it was clean but in need of a cosmetic upgrade. The restaurant itself was clean and had a Louisiana feel. My wife ordered the Salmon med rare, and she said it was excellent. I ordered the shrimp quesadillas and I was impressed by the buttered flavor of the flour tortilla that was crispy on the edges. I also was pleased with the amount of shrimp and cheese. The guacamole and the pico were fresh and tasty. For appetizers tried the Pistolette and were not overly impressed. The Boudin Balls and sauce were very good. I think they could have been a little spicier, but they were great. The bread pudding was just average in my opinion, but my wife loved it. My wife and I agreed that this will be one our go to stops when driving through Lufkin.

Having humble & genteel personality while being a menu wizard, she made me feel right at home with her hospitality. My Oysters Royale cooked by Michael were fantastically perfect & delicious. I should've gotten the dozen instead of the 1/2. Being it's my first time, I had to make sure they were on point first & they were! I loved the charro bean side that came with rice & sausage bits topped with pico. The hush puppies are decent with some garlic butter you might want to dive into like it's the Summer Olympic swimming relays. The music and atmosphere was nice & festive. The booths are comfortable & being solo, the 2 person sized ones were perfect for me. Lufkin has a mainstay that most towns would be jealous to have. Come eat here & leave satisfied. Bring all your friends! You can't go wrong here with Tia Jaunita's. You just might want to camp out here.

From what we could see, the kitchen looked clean and the drive-thru area was well kept. After a few minutes looking over the menu, a sweet young lady took our order and asked us to pull forward to the waiting area. About 20 minutes later, she brought out our food, explained how everything was packed, and we headed home. Once we got home, we were impressed with how nicely everything was packaged. We ordered the crawfish chowder--excellent, creamy, and loaded with meat and veggies! We also got the boudin egg rolls, which were large, crispy, and very tasty. And then the King Trio: King crab legs, Dungeness clusters, shrimp, potatoes, and corn. There was a great amount of King crab, and we added an extra Dungeness cluster, so it was definitely plenty of food. Everything was cooked perfectly, though a few bites were a bit salty--but still delicious. We'll definitely be going back to try more dishes... and we won't try to walk in next time! Bring cash for a tip! I didn't a felt really bad... I'll hook her up next time!
