I was very disappointed in this Ralph's customer service at this location. I pre- ordered cupcakes from the bakery and the woman who helped me in the bakery was GREAT! She told me it was best to pay then so I could just pick up my order 2 weeks later. So I did. When I came to pick up the order the bakery was closed so the woman in the deli/ chicken area helped me. I showed her my receipt and she gave me a hard time questioning why my receipt was two weeks old. I explained that I paid in advance and she kept staring at my receipt. I had all the paperwork and receipt yet she still gave me an attitude and kept questioning the date. I asked her if there was a problem and she kept asking why my receipt was 2 weeks old. NEWS FLASH- people PRE-ORDER cakes in advance.. It is not the customers fault that someone did not write the date the order was placed, just the pick up date. So I left with a sour taste in my mouth as a quick pick up turned into an "ordeal". And she didn't even apologize for the trouble she gave me. The next morning I show up in a hurry to pick up my sandwich platters. ( already paid for) No one was there so I waited and waited then she casually walks in with no sense of urgency that I had been standing there for 10 + minutes. She gives me my platters and hands me a bag with about 8 mayo packets. I ordered 3 trays of 12-16 sandwiches. So I turned around to ask her for more and she started helping someone else and never looked at me as I stood there. She would not even acknowledge me and she KNEW I was standing there trying to get her attention.. So because I was ignored, I had to run through the store and grab a mayo. I am not a scene maker so I just did what I needed to and got out. But I will NEVER order anything from this Ralphs again because of the people they have working the food counters. They are rude and make it very clear they do not like their job. Not pleasant or welcoming at all! I have been a customer service manager for over 15 yrs. To experience bad service TWICE in less than 24hrs is unacceptable and I will not spend another penny in this store. Go order from Albertsons or Stater Bros. read more

Pharmacy people are very nice. But can't say much for the cashiers. I patiently waited behind two ladies chit chatting and laughing at the lottery counter. When it was my turn at the counter at 8:11pm to cash in a scratcher and was told that the lottery counter shuts down at 8:00pm. So much for customer service area here... read more

New to this location. I was pleased to see a Ralphs store near by. Last night I originally came here to purchase gift cards. I noticed there was a sale for softsoap.10 for $10. I love to see these items on sale and when I do I try to buy as many as possible to stock up. I ended picking up around 20 of them in differently varieties. As I was checking out. The young man ringing me up was busy having a full on conversation with the customer behind. Which I was fine, I figured the gentlemen behind me was a regular. As the young man was ringing me up and barely paying any attention to me. I thought I noticed the some of the soaps ringing up at $2.99 a bottle instead of $1. I brought it to his attention and he quickly responded with " no miss they are all ringing up for a dollar each". I then just took his word for it. As I was walking out to the car and putting my groceries away in the trunk. I then glanced at my receipt. What did I see?? Softsoap for $2.99 x 10 = $29.99 when It should of been only $10 bucks. I immediately walked back into the store and ask to speak to a manger. I tried to explain to her that the gentlemen has overcharged me. I wanted a price adjustment. Because I was told they were all $1. Instead she just said all I can do is give you a total refund. After that I didn't want to sit there and argue over softsoap. So I took the refund. All I wanted was a price adjustment. It was clearly on sale when I saw the price on the shelf. If they had just given me a price adjustment they could of prevented a one star yelp review. I have been going to the Ralph's in Anaheim but because I was also had to go to Trader Joe's I visited this location. OMG I love this store, the employees are so nice. I didn't get her name but she works at the deli counter she was so friendly I purchased more than I needed, she deserves a raise. She even told me to have a nice day and that it was a pleasure to serve me. What the? I never get such lovely words from a grocery store worker. The store is very clean. Lane 2 cashier on 1/24 @9:50am took 17 minutes before deciding to check me out when I was the first in line. What can I say? I love CB's coffee, hands down but there's not many around which makes me sad. I've come to this one a few times and while everything's fine, I don't like the fact that they can't warm up my croissant for me, and bc it's a grocery store location they don't have a lot of fresh, bakery selection. So when I'm in the mood for coffee/warm croissant, I tend to go to It's a Grind instead in the same plaza. Pharmacy Review What a great concept, one stop shopping! Ralphs put a pharmacy in this location and it sounded so convenient, but is it? I decided to write a review because this location has forgotten / inconvenienced me the last two times I've tried to use it's service. 1. My health insurance suggested the pharmacy monitor my blood sugar in addition to my normal primary care visit. The first appointment went okay but slow as the pharmacist tried to learn how to take the tests on the fly. My follow-up was 90 days later. When I went in for the appointment, the pharmacist was no where to be found, the attending pharmacist had me wait 40 minutes while she "attempted to contact the pharmacist". It was discovered later, the attending and the other pharmacist swapped shifts and they forgot about me. 2. My primary sent over a prescription at 11:30 am. I know these things take time so I waited until 1:15 pm to pick up the script. I waited patiently in line and their tech asks my name, looks me up and says you are here for eye drops. I said yes, thinking wow, they're on top of it. She turns to the pharmacist (but to my dismay was the same pharmacist who took 40 minutes to tell me they swapped shifts and forgot about me in number 1) and asks her if they resolved an issue that the drops were not on my plan. This is where it goes downhill. I see her look around at another pharmacist and another tech then mumble to both under breath, then she got on the phone. I waited a few minutes. She hangs up and comes over and says sorry, the eye drops were not on your plan and your doctors office is at lunch come back later. I asked, when you realized there was an issue, couldn't you have contacted them then to fix the issue instead of waiting for me to come in to start? She paused and replied, uh, yes, we could have but we got busy... I would have had more patience if it wasn't the same lady who made me wait 40 minutes while they came up with a reason the other pharmacist forgot me. Never again will I do anything with this Ralphs. Walmart, Aldi, Trader Joes, CVS, Rite Aid, Gelsons, anything but Ralph's Cerritos. A little honesty and courtesy goes a long way. read more

I was very disappointed with my experience at this location in Bakery service. I called the location yesterday to ask what the pricing was for 36 cupcakes for pre-ordering the lady told me $14. I thought it was a great deal so I left work early today to come into the bakery to place my order. I waited for eight minutes as a lady in the bakery was wandering around in the back she was about to exit the bakery and deli area it looked like she was going to take a break. She stopped and looked at me and said oh did you need help. I began to tell her my order and confirmed the pricing that I received over the phone she told me it was going to be three times the amount she didn't seem interested in helping me so I just simply told her to please cancel my order I'll go someplace else to buy my cupcakes. Customer service is key if you were running a bakery.If you have employees taking phone calls if they don't know the pricing they should not say anything over the phone. This place is out-dated, crowded, and inconvenient. You would expect a top-notch store like Cypress or Rossmore in the city of Cerritos, but hey.. you won't get this here. The store is in desperate need of re-design. First, everyone does self-checkout now, and this place desperately needs that upgrade. Most of store hasn't been improved in 10+ years. You honestly run into people left and right on the dinky asiles. I'm also thinking they don't really replace produce very often, because I got some pretty awful cherries at Ralph's top price. Advice to owner, time to upgrade, and re-develop this store from the ground up. Compare this store to say the La Palma Walmart. I usually come here to buy "pull-apart-cupcakes" for special occasions. For our "End of the Semester Student Appreciation Party" for our workers this year was not a pretty one. I asked for a tropical theme, they give me plain white frosting laid haphazardly with plastics toy hibiscus flower rings as decorations! Writing looked as it was done by a preschooler just learning their alphabets. Very disappointed with their presentation, they usually do impressive work. I will not be returning here for my celebration cakes/cupcakes. read more

This is a grocery store and store is usually just a store we all have to go to at some time. However this grocery store has the nicest people, the produce people are always very helpful, the deli and counter ladies are very courteous. I always ask questions, and sometimes need help getting items off higher shelves and am always met with willing and helpful assistance. I also have to mention Maria, the lady at the register who is always smiling and friendly. I always try to check out in her line even if she has the longest line. read more

I'm disappointed that I purchased tri-tip steak here three times and EVERY TIME, when I open the packaging, the meat is turning brown in-between the slices or underneath it. It's hard to detect as its packed tightly and all that's visible is red...the consistency of getting meat like this worries me. I will not be purchasing meat from here again. All other products have been fine so I will continue to shop here, but what are the odds that this happens with their beef? Can't take the risk or expense. read more

This ralphs store is really great. Great customer service, except for one elderly female white with dirty blondish hair. If u can't tell who this is, she's the one that looks like Dog the bounty hunter! The girl needs customer service. This girl just started scanning everything without even saying hello! This is not an isolated incident because it happened multiple times. When o see her, I rather wait in the longer line that have to deal with a miserable dog the bounty hunter! She Did not even greet me or acknowledge anyone. Seen it with other customers too. They should leave her in the stock room where there are no public contact. ! Wtf! This Ralph's stocks quite a bit of Asian food. They even have things that I don't see at other Ralph's locations. I'm not very happy with their selection of organic fruits though. They have a good range of organic vegetables, but not whole a lot of organic fruits. The location is convenient for me, so I keep shopping here. read more

Be aware you need their app to get some of the sale prices. When you go to register, they are not understanding if you are ignorant of this. One cashier appeared very annoyed instead of being understanding and explaining the procedure kindly. This person made me feel small. Been going to this Ralph store for a while now. Never really had problems about rude employees, even thought there are bad reviews here. Well I decided to write a review now because of a worker that was rude. I was shopping and came across a lady that was handing out free samples. I took a sample which tasted good. Then I noticed that her food stand was in front of an item that I needed to get. So I politely said "excuse me", smiled, and was able to get the item. Then while I was examining my item to see if I wanted to get it or not, this lady started talking to me about how healthy Mexican food is and that more and more Asians are purchasing it. I was going to say that I love eating Mexican food everyday but then she interrupted me like she doesn't care about what I have to say. Before I could even finish, she started talking about how she is right. Wth? I rather go to a place where employees are not rude with their loud opinions. The only thing good about this Ralphs is the location that is close to my house. Well I'm going to consider shopping somewhere else for grocery. read more

I stopped in this store after work one day and was so disappointed in the low energy, unfriendly service and depressing atmosphere. No one except that meat guy spoke and the cashier and bag boy looked and acted like they wished they were someplace else. Really? They both talked to each other and complained how tired they were. I wish to commend this Ralph's store for having some of the best and freshest organic products in the area, even better when it comes to certain organic vegetables than some of the major chains such as Whole Foods! Not a good place to shop at all!!!! Cashiers and management are very rude to the point I had to correct them as I have to go shopping there once a great moon. You may ask why do I shop there? Because they are very close to my house and sometimes I have no choice! This is only for people who works in front of the store.
