I'm leaving this one star review with hopes that this will be fixed once and for all! And I hope a store manager will take actions immediately, before I have to take this to higher authorities. I shop here quiet often because it's convenient for me since it's by my house. this store always sales bad vegetables and fruits and very often I find expired products on the shelves such like yogurt, hummus, cottage cheese, milk, and eggs. Some can food is expired as well. Today I was in the store again and I wanted to buy some cucumbers along with other things. I am uploading phots of the cucumbers so that everyone can see what the sell here. It's a poison! The cucumbers are molded and white juice is coming out them that looks like a fuss! It's just gross. This can not be consumed nor should it be sold. It is a disrespect to a customer to come to your store and find something this bad. These cucumbers should have been thrown away weeks ago. Our community does not deserve such food at the local grocery store. This is not the first time I am experiencing this and I had enough so i finally decided to share this with everyone! Terrible store. First off the deli is run like they don't care. The fried chicken is always old and dried out as is everything else in the case and it's that way every single time I go. They are always out of things I need. The have some of if not the highest grocery prices in town,, there so called deals are barely deals at all.. Worst of all is checking out. They almost never have more than two lanes open, people are always lined up so fat down the shopping aisles it's ridiculous. So out of desperation which is what they want I'm sure, toy go to self check out to use literally the worst self check out in existence. I just left this location very upset. I've been shopping at the antelope location in Menifee since I was 18 years old, I'm 31 now. I just went in to get a money order to pay rent like I have been for the last 4 years and was denied service by Daniel, Susan and another gentleman who's name I didn't get. They accused me of being a drug dealer, money laundering and denied me service because of where they assumed I'm employed and the sweater I was wearing. When I got corporate on the phone and had them on speaker phone, he said he didn't care one bit, threatened to call the cops and proceeded to kick me out while my wife and 2 year old son were present. Awfully convenient I sent my wife in and she ended up being helped. Disgusting behavior, discrimination at its finest and I'm at a loss of words right now. Who launders $1725? Not sure when the stores started charging to get cash back. Even though this time it was a small transaction the store will not get future business because of the fee. used to go here all the time growing up, all the staff are really nice. With the exception of last night I had a really bad experience with the cashier "Wendy s" Super rude. we came in about 20 mins before close, and she clearly just wanted to get out of there. I asked about the digital deals offered by Ralph's, which you have to download the app to use, so I downloaded the app and it said the Ralph's card is optional and not required. Wendy insisted you needed the card to use the deal, which even if it's true, she was very rude about how she said it. and said oh that's alright then I'll just pay the normal price and do this another time. "no it's already in so fill it out" .... there was a line building behind us so I just wanted to get out of the way. She was rude to the other staff as well. We were very nice and understanding, my girlfriend even complimented her nails and she said thanks but in a "whatever" kind of tone. Maybe it was just a bad day, I get it we all have them. My first time ordering a birthday cake in their bakery a few weeks ago . It was absolutely delicious and beautiful . Everyone at worked raved about it . It was chocolate with fresh strawberries for the filling . Buttercream frosting with chocolate drizzle . Complete with birthday ribbon garnish on the top of the cake . I always use Ralph's but the lady in self check out today (Jeanine or something similar) was extremely rude. I have family visiting from the south and we were grabbing groceries and after placing a full bag back in my cart it asked to place the bag back on counter and called for assistance. We waited (I even had time to look at fresh flowers while waiting) for her to just be extremely rude. Using words like "now" and did you scan everything. All we did was remove a bag from the counter bc we were running out of space and I placed it in the cart which is why the computer required assistance to move forward. If you don't have customer service skills don't work somewhere that requires them. I've never left a negative review on yelp and I surely know how to use self check out, but making my family feel uncomfortable was too much. I recently had a bad experience here and want everyone to know of this! If it was the right thing to do with what the cashier did. I waited over 20mins in line, there's 4 other people behind me and I was finally up next and all of a sudden a new line open and the cashier grabs the 4th person in line and take them to her register, didn't bother to asked anyone in line before that person.. was this right ? Why didn't she asked the next person in line? She didn't even acknowledge anyone in line.. I had to voice my words and was very upset as I look behind me and saw we were all Asian and the last person she took was White. Now tell me what would be your feelings I'm this? Let me start by saying I've lived in Menifee 7 years. I've read thru a ton of these bad reviews and it's filled with bitter people angry about them not being stocked during this pandemic. This isn't a reflection of the store, it's what's going on EVERYWHERE so please don't let their bitter reviews steer you away. This store and the people that work there are beyond amazing. If I had to say three words about the workers it's compassionate, caring, loving, and helpful. I've had so many life events from being a single woman, to getting married, being pregnant and having a beautiful daughter, and they were and have always been the most loving and helpful people ever. Cheers to this store, and their staff, because I always feel at home here. I love Janeen, lord knows I'm probably spelling that wrong, she always is so sweet and warm. I have purchased everything here from a Ninja blender and patio set to every day groceries. Since this store is the closest to my house I come often by virtue of convenience. However, I am pleasantly surprised at the helpful, courteous staff. Many of the staff recognize me as a regular and always say hello. I even bought our Christmas tree here last year and a young man went out of his way to help us fit the tree in our car. The quality of the processed foods is consistent with all other mega grocery chains. The deli is nothing special but adequate, the bakery again, nothing special but adequate. The produce is average with a decent selection. The sea food and meat department seem small and could use more selection. Most recently the floors were re modeled and surprisingly they look worse than before. The floral department is small but adequate. The selection during holidays is decent. They also have a decent liquor selection, again I've seen larger and nicer at other chains. The one word that is common to the store is "adequate", I would venture to say the service is above adequate as I have had some great experiences with several staff members and managerial staff. I normally don't like Ralph's because they are pretty overpriced stuff here and the selection of organic fruits and vegetables aren't even that big. Not to mention, they charge more than any other store I know for organic stuff. However, I will say that this review is for the prime rib I got for Christmas. I sent my husband and my father-in-law to pick up some prime rib from Ralph's at this location. I told them to get 6-7lbs. I was expecting them to spend about $50-60 for that size of prime rib. They came back and told me it was on sale and the total came to $30! Holy wow! I was thrilled to hear that! Takes the pressure off a little bit, just in case I mess it up. I cooked the prime rib in my famous herb de provence spices and ingredients and it came out perfect! Medium rare and all! The au jus I made to go with it was also out of this world. I have Ralph's to thank for that since I didn't have to trim off any fat or anything, they had prepared it and trimmed most of the fat for me. Also, I love the remodel version of Ralph's, it looks much better. The just need to do something about their prices on certain things. read more

Called today at 3:12 looking for a specific item from the butcher. They confirmed the item and I stated I would be there in 5 minutes. Got there in 6 (oopsies) Walked to the butcher area and the dark haired guy had no clue. He stated" O didn't talk to you" well I never said I did. I was asking for the item ( beef knuckles) he at that point was obviously inconvenienced that I asked him to look. Came back with an attitude and again told me they had none. Hmmmm, I guess there was a run on knuckles. I was gonna leave then found another employee , Teri I think, walked back with her and just for funsies called the number I did previously. Mr. Rude implied I never called. As we walked up the P.A. system sang out " meat department you have a call" dat was me. Anyway, Mr Rude was now talking with Mr I Dont Know Anything. Well, as we approached I could hear Mr I Dunno know talking about my product. Oooooo. You answered my call. Needless to say I didn't get what I drove there for. Both were unprofessional and Rude. Hard to give a grocery store five stars but sometimes it is worth it to be honest. The AM staff at the Starbucks is always on spot and never have a problem with my drinks. Produce and meat department has been clean and well stocked and if you like fish ready to cook they will customize and put it in an oven bag for you. Was pleasantly surprised at the quality and taste of seasoning. Checkout is never clogged like some of their competitors are lately. I really have no issues with this Ralphs. They are definitely starting to increase the Simply Organics brand which is a huge plus for me. I love that the organic veggies have their own section and there's even a separate section for ''Asian'' Veggies too. Overall this store is usually really well kept and stocked. I love the self-service section because I like being on the phone and running my groceries through the scanner myself. There is a coffee bean & tea leaf inside (separate review) which is nice to have when you're shopping with a toddler but it needs some work in terms of coffee quality, speed and taste. read more

I only come to this location when it is too late to go anywhere else. It is not very clean, and several of the checkers like to talk to you instead of ring up your groceries. I can't tell you how many times I have purchased an already-expired or an about-to-expire condiment- I carefully check all packaging for expiration dates when I purchase from this store. Produce is typically not fresh, and the Meat in the meat case typically looks like it will only have 1 or 2 days left when purchasing. Additionally, there are always solicitors outside this location which I would prefer to avoid rather than make a purchase from. The prices are higher than the nearby SuperTarget or Albertsons. I'd much rather drive to another store than shop at this one. read more

Outrageous prices, horrible produce (I once picked up a tomato and my finger punctured it - no joke), always low on non-fat milk (and when they do have it, the expiration date is only a few days out), and be careful for their sale signs - they use a LOT of fine print (ie. must buy 2 or 3 of something in order to get a sale price). Other than that, their emlployees are friendly. Ever since the Winco opened, I drive the extra 2 miles there for better quality (believe it or not) and far more cost-effective. I have no problem driving 3 extra minutes for this. read more

I love this store! I have been shopping here for over 10 years now. I have NEVER had a bad experience! The prices are always fair and they always have a great variety. The deli is wonderful, I have eaten there many times. Butcher is awesome! He always gives you great cuts and has many years of experience. The managers are always there making sure things are run well. They have helped me many times. Their hours are perfect the needs of the community. I also love how they parter their Ralphs Rewards with the Shell gas station for discounts on gas! They have a very large beer, wine, and alcohol selection which is great depending on my mood or who I'm entertaining. For everyone that is new to the area, fear not. I give this place three stars because they have good service and deals can be found if you are a smart shopper and watch the ads and coupon shop (as my wife does), which usually nets you better pricing than WinCo or Stater Bros; but those come in waves and you have to hit another store or pay more for those non-sale items. They used to double coupons but now it's limited (they double up to a dollar). We used to shop here when we lived closer but now only come here when my wife has found those deals. The prices are much than Stater Bros, Albertson's, and WinCo. If you don't mind bagging your own groceries, go to WinCo (note that WinCo is 'employee owned' but paid less). read more

I've been to the store many times. Employees generally don't acknowledge me. They spend more time talking to each other than they do greeting customers. This is the first bad review that I have shared on Yelp. Most of the time when I feel like I've been given improper service or been disrespected I simply go to another location but this is warranted. My wife and I recently bought a home just down the street from this Ralph's location and we're hoping to make it our home store. We will not be going back due to one the managers at this location. He is a tall slim gentleman and was working last night at 9:00 p.m.. Treated me like I was absolute garbage and made me wait while he helped other people who came after I did. This was the 2nd time I had been mistreated by this manager. I'm sure this isn't an isolated incident with this gentleman and the reason I am reporting this is the more you hear about what this gentleman is doing the more apt you are to act on it. We will not be going back to this location and that is a shame. read more

I usually really like this store. Everyone is always happy and helpful inside, although they usually don't have enough checkers open. I recently started their delivery service, however they use Instacart to deliver the items. I've ordered at least 6 times (because I'm on disability right now), and every time I am missing something. Problem is, there's nobody to get ahold of. Ralph's doesn't show my order, and there's no contact info for Instacart. So now I shop at Vons. They have their own drivers deliver. read more

It is one of the WORST run stores!!! So glad that there will be a Stater Bros. opening up. The employees are super lazy and act like your doing them a favor!!! There was a young man collecting carts listening to his music in both ears, not only is it unsafe but he left his collection behind my car and I had to track him down. And he just shrugged his shoulders, "like old well" and then as he walked away he said "sorry". And put back his ear plugs, I know it's not the most exciting job, but if you don't want it then "quit" it's that simple ... called to speak to the manager and the "gal" who answered the phone said the manager was at lunch and would be back at "top of the hour" and I responded it's 12:02; does that mean he just got back???
