What a disappointment, the store was damn near completely empty. Ralph's has been going downhill, I guess I reached the bottom...damn!!

It is one of the WORST run stores!!! So glad that there will be a Stater Bros. opening up. The employees are super lazy and act like your doing them a favor!!! There was a young man collecting carts listening to his music in both ears, not only is it unsafe but he left his collection behind my car and I had to track him down. And he just shrugged his shoulders, "like old well" and then as he walked away he said "sorry". And put back his ear plugs, I know it's not the most exciting job, but if you don't want it then "quit" it's that simple ... called to speak to the manager and the "gal" who answered the phone said the manager was at lunch and would be back at "top of the hour" and I responded it's 12:02; does that mean he just got back??? She got so MAD she hung up me and refused to pick up when I called back... great customer service!! read more

First off Ralph's charges too much for their products. If you need to stock up on food, go to Winco instead where you'll get a full cart for the same price you'd pay for a few bags at Ralph's. Seriously. It's not even funny how expensive Ralph's is. This particular Ralph's is within walking distance from my home but I choose to drive farther to Albertson's, Super Target or Winco to save money and I only end up at Ralph's when there's no time to spare...and I literally pay the price for that convenience. They have what you need but the meat department is very small. I will say they do have a nice wine selection. The checkers are getting better lately. There used to be this heavy set black lady that wouldn't even start to ring up anything until you handed her your Ralph's card. She would stand there doing NOTHING and wait for you to finish unloading your cart. I stopped going through her line so I wouldn't leave with steam coming out of my ears. The best part about this store is there's a Redbox inside that actually works, unlike the one at the gas station in the same center. I also should point out that they keep their seasonal coffee creamers in the far right back corner around the holidays, not next to the other coffee creamers. It took me 2 years to discover that and now I don't have to stock pile my fridge with Pumpkin Spice creamer when I find it else where. :P read more

I am not coming here anymore. First, their selections keep getting less and less on certain things, and they are very little help. I am a military wife and my husband is gone a lot so i have to navigate grocery shopping alone with our baby. So I push the stroller and load my grocery bags while a shop and then unload the grocery bags at the register. Today there was no bagger so I'm trying to rebag my groceries while keeping an eye on my baby and the cashier tells me my total, she doesn't help me bag any of the groceries and when I try to hand her my card she points to the card reader for me to do it while I'm still trying to bag all my groceries. I said gosh can I get a bagger? And someone appeared and took over packing my groceries. No one even offered to help me to my car which they always offer at stater brothers. I will not return here. I felt so frazzled and rushed, if I'm going to bag my own groceries I might as well go to food for less and pay less for the food!! read more

This only pertains to an specific sale at Ralph's. This does not describe the working people at this store, for to be frank, not one has not shown great customer skills. That out of the way.... Ralph's in their last weekly sale announced 50% off on Shrimp and Alaskan King Crab. Yesterday, while shopping, I approached their meat and seafood department to inquire about both items. The Shrimps I bought was fairly discounted, but the King Crab was not. When I asked how much was it, and yes this morsel looked big and good to consume, the attendant/butcher answered that the price with the 50% off was on display, which was $24.99? So I replied, "so the pound is $48+?" Which is baloney, for I had already seen the price when it was not on sale, and it was $24+. Sam's Club sells it at $20, and so does Costco. The attendant was an extremely nice person so this tale is all about corporate little deceit. 2 Stars. read more

Guy at the deli told me their artichoke turkey panini was really good there when I ordered it. It wasn't that good. :( Didn't even add any onions or avocado or anything special except for the garlic spread I like that they discontinued at stater bros. read more

I'm almost always at Ralphs. It's so convenient bring down the street from me and they have what I'm looking for 99% of the time (sometimes I'm just looking for very random things I need to order special). The staff is so friendly and caring. One night I was there kind of late and I went to pay for my cart full of groceries when I looked in my wallet and realized my card had fallen out. Panicked, I ran to my car and turned it upside down to try to find my card or any means of payment. I finally found it and went back in where the cashier greeted me with a relieved smile and explained how that happens a lot only few actually come back. She was so sweet and kind! If I see her again I'll be sure to get her name! read more

Like their meat that are usually on sale for such a low price but hate the vegetables and fruit section because it is always a bit high, apples were like 1.79 Cent a pound when you can get it at Food 4 Less for 79 Cent a pound, also cucumber at Cardenas is like 4 for a dollar and at Ralph their are like 59 cent for one, it all depend where you like to shop. read more

I went here to use the bank inside but arrived to early, so I decided to look around and was impressed by the beer and spirits sections size: similar to a liquor store! I came home with a variety 12 pack of Blue Moon beer. Ralphs was clean and service was friendly. Meat looked high quality too, not cheap crap or rubbish found at some grocery stores! Prices are more for meats but you get what you pay for. Ralphs is great for meat and beer/spirits! read more

The 5 stars are for the girls at the Bakery....my son wanted some superhero cupcakes and they didnt have any...i didnt ask for it, they offered to do it right away, in 5 minutes i left with a happy son and 24 delicious superhero cupcakes for my son and his friends....thank you awesome ladies!! read more

Went here for the first time over the weekend. I had forgot a few items for camping (at wilderness lakes). The store was clean and organized even tho it was super crowded. The staff was nice. The checkout was easy, we did the self checkout. I was surprised about how low the prices were! I paid 14$ for two new york steaks, charcoal, and one other item. I feel like I got a good deal and will be coming here again if I forget something next weekend ha ha read more

Had to use the restroom while shopping, nastiest bathroom I've ever witnessed. There was pee all around the seat and shit marks in the bowl. They had a restroom cleaning sheet that they obviously don't use.... I've seen gas station bathrooms more clean. read more

So I go in to get some grocery's I ask the produce guy if they have Thai chile peppers and he has no clue what I ask for. Then I go check out they have 6 registers open which is great so I go pay. Well the guy didn't even acknowledge me that I was there. He scanned me product and was to busy taking to the other cashier about there break that how they have to write for it. So I go to pay didn't even tell me my total just gave me my receipt and that was it. WHAT EVER HAPPENED TO CUSTOMER SERVICE???????? It's sad that he has no knowledge of customer service. Come here all the time since i lived across the street and it's open late. Only issue is the sometimes drugged out people who hang around the entrance. Other than that make sure you sign up for Ralph's rewards. Save a ton a money and save on gas. read more

I have been shopping here for about 2 years now. I never had any issues with the staff. Everyone is always helpful & polite when I shop during the day. My school schedule have change, so for the past 2 nights around 8pm. I have been shopping at the deli department. The staff is not very friendly. It's seems like they are being bothered because they have to stop whatever they are doing (stocking) Last night a couple of times an employee had to announced on the intercom that a customer needed help at the deli. Finally an employee got behind the counter. Ask, me what do I need? In my mind how rude! He didn't even say, sorry for the wait or anything. It was kind a the same scenario the night before. I do love this grocery store but when you have a staff that is so unprofessional I don't want to continue shopping here. Each and every staff that is hired by Ralph's represents this company, but with my experience that I had for the pass 2 nights Ralph's fail. So, for this issue I am giving this store a 1 star for their service. read more

Even after a slight remodel the store still seems dirty. Pathetic meat department. Please, please, please invest in some new shopping carts and allocate more areas in your parking lot for cart returns. Will now only go there for a few items. Employees are nice enough. The organic vegetables look like they have been laying around for days. In this day and age and with so much competition you would think they would step up on their store appearance, who wants to shop for food in a dirty store. Hire more clerks to bag and do cart returns. Hopefully one day a developer will build a new grocery store on the vacant land across Newport so us who live on this side of the 215 don't have to battle the traffic nightmare to go to other grocery stores on the other side of the freeway. A Trader Joes, Sprouts or a Fresh and Easy would be nice. read more

I have been visiting this Ralph's location for almost 7 years. I've never had to complain about about anything. The staff is usually friendly and nice. I once had to return a bad Pumpkin, and I was allowed to exchange it w/ no problem. I love how I can earn gas points when I use my Ralph's card. I love that I can purchase "Homeboy Industries" products here. Not just chips and salsa... Also potato salad and macaroni salad. If you're too busy to cook dinner on a cold night, I recommend you visit the deli area where hot soup is available in 16 and 32 oz containers. I have yet to try the deli sandwiches. read more

This store is garbage. The mentally challenged cashiers THROW your items into the bags because they re too busy yammering and gazing off into space. This store is not so dirty, but not so clean, either. the meat department smells strongly of old fish and blood. Oh, and targets prices on alchohol are WAY WAY better. Stater Bros beats them on meat. When trying to find a tomato yesterday my boyfriend had to give up and get a more expensive organic one since all of the regular roma tomatoes were basically fit for the trash alone. read more

Our family does ALL of our BIG bi-weekly grocery shopping here! The prices are wonderful, inside is always super tidy, and having a Ralphs Card adds points to get money off of the Shell Station nearby, which is a PLUS! The fresh produce department has lovely staff members who are very helpful! I come in about once a week to get greens for my pets and they are always so helpful! I am even able to get a big box full of the greens if I need to stock ahead. It is always a wonderful experience at the store! So glad to have it across the way! read more

this store was recently remodeled and is beautiful and spotless inside. the store is huge and carries a great selection of food including organic stuff. the produce is awesome and they sell cal organic produce. the staff is friendly. the prices are good and better with a Ralph's club card. I love shopping here. read more
