    COINSTAR
    Jeremy L.

6/28/2025 - Stop here for exchanging coins for cash or a gift card quickly - thank a bank employee for recommention. Impressed with the COINSTAR's efficiency and thanked one staff in person for showing me how to use it quickly. The price of Clicquot Yellow Label Brut Champagne Veuve Clicquot is much cheaper than Costco's if you buy six 750 ML bottles, which yealds more than $60 savings! The store is clean, and staff is helpful. Tip: If you have a large party or a special occasion party, you may buy six bottles here for more savings than any Walmart or Costco store! Note: The COINSTAR does charge 12.99% + $0.99 one-time service charge, but it is worth it or depending on your time for sorting etc., especially if you have many different size of coins!

This is a really nice and clean Ralph's. Plenty of parking. There's a Starbucks inside, a sushi and deli station. A bakery that smells good, plenty of pies, pastries and freshly baked bread. The fruits and vegetables section are top quality. The staff is friendly and helpful. Lots of good deals with their digital coupon and sale items. Got my Thanksgiving turkey for $.79 a pound, great price. Location is really nice as there are lots of establishments , this is now my go to Ralph's . Make sure you have their app for better deals!

This was the best drink ever I used to make it in middle school exactly like this. I should honestly just say that I made this actually I actually made this drink just to let you know at the Northridge Mall. I loved it so much. This is so refreshing it took a min to kick in but now I'm awake and ready it's great

Finally got new Loteria scratchers! This one is fun IG: @ammysalamii

This location is a great one. Nice big parking lot, always busy, but great selections. My bf and I typically drive to this one because of their alcohol selection. They have some unique ones that you don't typically find at other locations. I've seen photos on Yelp and I guess this used to have a Coffee Bean? It's now a Starbucks which I find odd because there's literally a Starbucks store a few feet from it in the same parking lot lol. They have a machine to purchase scratchers like others but today I found a new one for Loteria! Bigger than the small one they usually have so that was neat. Also found some great cinnamon buns in the pastry area which looked amazing! Overall a great location and staff are super friendly here. IG: @ammysalamii

The is is how I had to enlarge the photo to read it in the store with their poor WiFi.

I reviewed the electronic ad on my phone at Ralph's but had to enlarge it to see everything. I saw ground turkey on sale for $3.49. It didn't ring up and I asked the person at the checkout (which I did myself) isle and she looked at the electronic add and enlarged it and said it was only We'd-Fri. If this is an electronic add and at the bottom it said July 2-8, I felt they should honor the price. She went and talked to the manager who when she slowly walked over - and made me repeat what I was seeing and asking. I mentioned it's hard for people to use the electronic coupons. She kinda rudely said "we don't use electronic coupons (but they do) and you can get paper ones". She didn't tell me how to get them either. I politely told her that is still inconvenient to the customer. I mentioned very nicely that other stores - Publix my favorite in Florida - doesn't inconvenience its customers and I will probably look for stores like this. She very rudely interrupted and said, " I was gonna give you the discount but now am not since you keep talking about other stores where you can shop" Wow!!! I didn't say it but you would think this manager ANNA would want to keep customers not push them away. I wasn't impolite, I was making a point that the corporate office needs to make things convenient for customers not harder. If they have a Wed-Friday promotion- maybe don't keep that on the front page of their electronic ad on their app- people need to enlarge things to see on a phone and their policy to get coupons online (or as I just found out go get paper coupons from someone) is not an easy process as phones are small which makes it impossible for me to read without enlarging. Her reaction was not a very nice one and there are too many other stores to shop at and she made it clear as a manager she doesn't care about the customers. She felt it was ok to be condescending and rude. Then this lovely manager stared me down as she waited for me to get my refund from the clerk I told her I see her stare and it's not nice. She said she's a great manager and very happy and knows how to deal with people like me!!! Wow - glad you are proud of yourself ANNA - I think you have a lot to learn - I was having a conversation with you and your response was -"I was gonna give it to you but not when you're talking about going to other places and keep talking". ANNA this is not a great manager. You have a lot to learn and you have lost my families business! I will go to any grocery store even if I have to pay more BUT my family and I will NOT go to the Ralph's in Porter ranch while YOU are the very condescending manager who has a lot to learn.

    Organic molds
    Natalia S.

I usually shop at our local Ralph's, but I was very disappointed to find mold inside the refrigerator in the organic produce section. This is unacceptable for a store that sells fresh food. At least one organic product is definitely growing in there. I hope the management addresses this issue promptly and improves cleanliness and quality control.

Of all the markets in the area, Ralph's is convenient because they open early and close very late. The prices are good. There's some options for Asian produce which helps me from having to go to an Asian market. I can always find an employee when I need help. And there is plenty of parking in the lot.

This Vons is a bigger store than the one in Studio City. It is shared with a lot of businesses and has a lot of parking spaces. He used the self checkout since he finds it easier and faster. He said the aisles were very easy to navigate, clean and inside the store all employees were very helpful. On this visit he got 2 different types of cream cheese. One Strawberry flavor, and the other one Garden Vegetables, he got Traditional Guacamole that comes 4 in a pack. Also, got few frozen foods that were on sale. This year alone, I have purchased a product that appeared fine in the store but had visible mold inside once opened at home. I've also purchased stale chips that had to be returned for a refund. I also didn't realize they were selling expired cat food until I checked the date before purchasing (glad I did check beforehand). Between expired food, poor product quality, and constant stock issues, shopping here has become more frustrating than convenient. The frozen food aisles rarely have the items I specifically come in for, and when I ask employees for help locating products, many seem unfamiliar with where items are stocked. The staff generally appear disengaged, which only adds to the negative atmosphere. What makes this even more disappointing is that nearby stores like Sprouts and Smart & Final provide a much better shopping experience, but at nearly double the cost. I shouldn't have to pay that much more just to avoid expired products and poor service. The one bright spot is the sushi department. The two employees preparing sushi are consistently hardworking, professional, and deserve recognition for the effort they put into their work. Overall, this store has become overpriced, poorly managed, and unreliable. After years of shopping here, I've watched it decline dramatically, and the issues have become too significant to ignore.

She was upset about a small sample paper cup that was sitting inside the cart and accused them of throwing it there. The strange part is that my family member was still holding their own sample cup in their hand and told her that. Instead of realizing it may have been left there by someone else, the woman aggressively snatched the cup from her hand, and continued escalating the situation. The conversation was happening in Korean, and she began insulting them, saying they didn't even speak Korean and couldn't understand what she was saying. We are Korean by the way. All of this over a tiny paper sample cup that wasn't even theirs. The cashier seemed confused and was apologetic, clearly unsure why this woman was acting this way. What was more disappointing was that when it was brought to the owner or manager's attention, the response was dismissive. My family member was asked to let it go, not the worker It's concerning that someone felt comfortable physically reaching into a customer's cart and grabbing something from their hand, and that it was brushed off instead of addressed. Unfortunately, this isn't our first negative experience here. On a previous visit, we bought multiple cabbage that turned out to be rotten inside. I called immediately, took photos, and asked if I could return it. I was told yes, but the person on the phone sounded irritated, like it was somehow my fault. There are other options, like Galleria, where the produce is consistently fresher and the management is noticeably more attentive and welcoming. Very disappointing overall.
