Stay away from this company. *** kitchen cabinets paint *** They prep half day with 3 guys, one was constantly getting phone calls and they sing, laugh so loud, next day covered the whole area of my kitchen to ready to sprayed. So, I couldn't really see if they were sanding and repairing some hair lines. My cabinets didn't have any big damage, just wanted to change color, sand and filled hair lines etc. Quick easy job since I empty all inside the cabinets, leave nothing on the countertop and island. What a lousy job they did and mess & dust. I dust cabinets weekly, wiped all done monthly and over the range cabinets are wiped weekly, because I like to keep everything spotless. This paint is not going to last. Now, I'm getting a new countertop and island, I might needed to hire cabinet painter again. Not worth the money I paid in CASH ! read more

Huge shoutout to RAM Painting. They did an amazing job repainting my house. The process went so smoothly. I had about a 30-minute consultation with Josh. We went over what I needed to have done, and he matched the paint perfectly. The next day I had power washing done and the next day and a half they painted. I couldn't be happier than I am now with their work. They were very professional and friendly. I was very happy with the price too. I thought it was going to me more than what Josh estimated. I would highly recommend RAM Painting. I know I will be calling Josh again when I am ready to paint the inside of my home. RAM Painting was recommended to me by a friend that recently had her house painted by Josh's crew. I contacted Josh and he was able to setup an appointment for the next day at our home for an estimate. He put together an estimate to paint the exterior of our large 2 story home and very, very long privacy wall surround the property. This was not a small job! Other contractors didn't want to take on this size of a job stating that it would take 2-3 weeks to complete. Josh was willing to do the task at hand and committed to completing it in less than a week. We accepted his proposed estimate and the following Monday work was begun. First a power wash of the complete house and all of the surrounding walls. Next, prepping all of the surfaces was begun including repairing stucco imperfections, masking, taping, removing window screens and moving and covering outside planters and furniture. Next came the painting. His large crew was very efficient, organized, punctual and polite; it's obvious that they knew what they were doing and did it well! By the end of the day on Thursday everything except 2 of the 5 gates had been painted. Friday morning I walked the property and marked whatever I thought needed to be addressed, touched-up and then showed the lead painter whom immediately assigned two workers to take care of, which they did. When the 2 remaining gates were finished, I did a final review of the property and to my satisfaction called it completed except for a minor bit of cleanup. I have dealt with several different contractors of various trades and "skills" in Las Vegas and have had my share of disappointments, but I have say that it was a pleasure dealing with Josh and his crew and I highly recommend their services. read more

The paint job they did on our building was fine. What we are displeased with is the workers cleaned their paintbrushes in our bathroom sinks and we have been dealing with plumbing issues for months! We are a restaurant and it's not a good look having sinks back up all of the time. They were working perfectly fine before the painters came in. We had a plumbing leak and Josh was recommended to us by our plumbers. We called and Josh came out the next day with an estimate that was more then fair. Josh and his crew did an amazing job. Ram gave us a reasonable estimate and scheduled us to have 2 bedrooms and 1 bath painted. We specified our color selection in egg shell finish. Room was originally white and was being paint a light gray. This will be important later, He stated they would remove wall plates and put them back on when they were done, so we left them in place. Arrived on scheduled date and time. Supervisor explained job to 2 painters and left. About 4 hours later, supervisor returned, stating job was done. Here's where the train left the track. Believing what I had been told, I didn't do a rigorous inspection. The paint was still not completely dry, so wasn't real thorough checking every corner. The following day we found the following items. 1. Section between closet door and bathroom vanity ( about 2 inches X 2 foot) was not painted. Since paint was still damp, it was lighter so it wasn't noticeable at the time. 2. Paint was dripped on bathroom light fixtures and counter tops. One large smear on a bathroom vanity but was not noticed on my walk through as the painter was cleaning his brushes and standing in front of the smear. 3. Wall plates were not removed. This was discovered when I went to put decorative switch plates on and found unpainted areas under the old plates. 4. I was willing to let the above slide as I could easily correct the above with the paint that was left for future touchups, but just looked at the paint used, it was semi-gloss, not egg shell. Work is messy leave paint all over get paint on ceilings, cuts aren't good, when you do walk through show them what you want job doesn't get done, say they will be back and never called or showed up to finish. Was very rude on the phone when I called them to tell them to come back to finish the job will never use them again. Got paint all over light fixtures, glass windows cracked countertop, paint all over the ceilings not good work at all. read more

These guys are the worst! They are rude and arrogant, I can't believe the way he talked to me on the phone! I knew they would not let them near my project after less than 5 min on the phone with them. I could tell by the way he talked so unprofessionally that they do not have what it takes to even communicate properly, much less get near my house with paint. Ok let's cut to the chase break down this review into 3 1- cost 2- time 3- outcome I just bought a house like any home owner you want fixed the way you like it. I found Josh on Yelp saw his reviews. Two of them good two them not good, but I thought couldn't hurt to call him. I was pressed for time to get a 1800 sq home painted before moving in. I was worried about color, the finished results praying it turn out good I gave Josh a call and from the start with Josh he was professional and "honest" (key word) he came saw my home asked what I wanted broke it all down to me of what he would do and areas I should skip over. Because wasn't needed as much Cost- everyone quoted me $2,500 if not more, but Josh came in below that Time- his crew started 9am and was finished the following day Outcome- I walked in to my new house so impressed and that says a lot because I'm hard to impress! from the living room, closet and base boards Josh and his crew left nothing undone and every detailed I was more then happy with results. RAM painting DO NOT USE!!! After about a year and half later today I was cleaning marks off my laundry room door, with a micro fiber towel and water the paint in the door pealed off. The door was not prepped. This happens frequently. Pony walls and etc. I've fixed so many items in my house it's hard to list them all. The sales people at the local paint store told me they charge the customer for the high end paint but get the cheapest. There are no straight lines, for example base boards and the wall not straight. Drips and over spray. If you want that then use them however pictures are worth a thousand words. I should of sent this in sooner read more

Initially I was impressed with this company. I was impressed with Josh, who came out and gave a thorough estimate. He broke down labor and material. Communication was good. Until the day of. Initially came to get his workers going on the job and then left for long periods of time. Leaving them with no direction. I was having to make sure and look after things. Cracks that I thought would be getting filled in prior to painting didn't. I now realize spots that missed paint. My main disappointment was my front door. it was painted 3 times. It was painted scraped, then painted then sanded and then painted for the 3rd time. the door still doesn't look good! I'll have to get it redone. I asked Josh to strip it completely down and repaint it and he told me that was too much work. I guess they had no interest in doing a 100% on their work. You pay a lot of money to get your house painted and when it doesn't look like you expected, it's very disappointing. My advice would be go with a different company, someone who has better experience, more involvement and more experience with painting exterior front doors. read more

If only there was a negative rating! First off, I would like to inform RAM of the true meaning of "Meticulous", the advertised meaning of the "M" in RAM Painting. Meticulous....."taking or showing extreme care about minute details; precise; thorough: a meticulous craftsman". What you are really going to get for the "M" is "Messy"...."characterized by a dirty, untidy or disordered condition". After doing much of the prep work ourselves and being "meticulous" with our project, RAM Painting was hired to do the finishing touches. Wanting nothing more than advertised and paid for, we were thoroughly disappointed! You too, if you were crazy enough to hire this company, could be the lucky recipient of getting lots of painting done....even your refrigerator, tiles, bathtub, floors, cabinets.....none of which you contracted to be painted. Beware! If you live in the dark and/or blind, then RAM's definition of "meticulous" will work for you. I expect Josh, the owner, to try and defend his position as he did with another review, but there is no defense. There were many, many hours spent by us to try and fix his mess. If there is one thing we regret when moving into our new home, it is hiring Ram. We went to Sherwin Williams and asked for a recommendation and they recommended Ram. They didn't start or finish on time. They took off faceplates and door stoppers and didn't put them back on. However, I can get past all that. Things happen. They were doing several places at the same time. However, they painted my entire house in FLAT paint! Not even eggshell. I have 4 kids and a dog! I didn't realize this until they were gone. Now, I am constantly having to go around my house and touch up. So, now just a couple months later, my walls look more dirty than clean. A simple google search will tell you flat is for ceilings. They did it because it was cheap and easy to paint with flat. I messaged them asking how they could do such a thing- of course, I got no response. So, now I, or someone else, will have to repaint the house. I'm just so beyond frustrated. Just stay away from this company. read more

I am renting a home in Henderson, Nv and required the home to be painted . They showed up on time and began their work without hesitation. One of the painters while painting accidentally knocked off the wall a large wall decoration ( I failed to take it off the of wall) and caught it saving it from damage!!!! Nice catch. I got estimates from 3 different painters. I was hesitant about going with them because they had no reviews and were the cheapest of all 3, also I originally found them on Craigslist. I saw the photos of their work on yelp and being that our budget was pretty much non-existent we went the cheaper route and boy am I glad!!! They did an AWESOME job!!! They painted the entire interior of my 3500sq ft house in 3 days. Their quality is amazing and Josh & his crew were very professional. Their attention to detail was outstanding. My new house had yellow walls with burgundy, brown & green as the accent colors. They painted a very modern 2 tone gray and i feel like it's added $10-$15k into the house already. We paid an exorbitant amount of money for Ram painting to paint our house while we were away. Josh confidently told us he would personally care for our home. We returned to find a cut rate effort. There was over-spray on all of the windows, empty, leaking paint cans filled the entire garage, drawers were missing out of our kitchen cabinets and all of our window blinds were broken. To top it off Josh charged us $150 for three gallons of paint that he had incorrectly mixed. Josh refuses to acknowledge any of these problems and won't even answer his phone now. We expected the best and got a con artist. I would stay far away from Ram painting. read more

First of all they did an excellent job painting my house but everything outside of painting they screwed up totally. Of the five coach lights they took down they lost screws and/or hardware necessary to put each one back up. One of the coach lights was damaged and the on/off sensor had to be replaced. The shoved my automatic solar shades up into the box which houses them when retracted knocking the shades out of their tracks and left it that way, two of the shades would not extend, they were able to fix it when I pointed it out. One of the canlight housings on the patio was broken when they finished painting and they claimed it was broken when taken down, it had not been touched since the home was constructed. Finally they did not haul away any of their waste, they packed my trashbins to the max with their paint-stained plastic sheeting, tape, and pain containers which republic services refused to pick up. I had to make a trip to the dump to empty my own trashbin. Again, the paint job was perfect but the experience was a nightmare. read more

Josh met my husband at the new house to get an estimate for painting some of the interior & at our other house (rental property) to get an estimate for painting the exterior. The hubby seemed impressed & Josh's prices were a couple hundred less than other bids, so we went with RAM. Everything seemed fine, but when we had just the upstairs & 1/2 bath of our new house painted an off-white (there were some pretty bold colors in some of the rooms as well as wallpaper border), the colors were bleeding through. He needed to come back to do a 4th coat in some places, but was not a big deal since we decided to hire him to do the downstairs as well. We were also having the flooring replaced, so we told him the crew didn't need to be real careful since it was going to be ripped out anyway. NOTE: Be careful if you do this because now the paint in the stairway needs to be touched up since the old carpet was still there & that will be difficult since our new carpet has already been installed. The crew left their lunch trash on my kitchen counter, but no big deal. They did 2 accent walls for us downstairs & we thought everything looked good. They finished late in the day, so Josh told us to take a look the next day when it was light out & I could see the colors better. So, the next day, I looked at everything & found several spots that need to be touched up, a spot where the accent color got on the lighter color & a spot in one of the bathrooms where it looks like they painted over the wallpaper border. I also found 3 more bags of lunch trash they left lying around. When I called to speak to Josh about these issues, he said he can't keep coming back. Please note the only time he "came back" was for an even larger, more expensive job. And when I mentioned I hired them to do a job & I'm not their housekeeper, he giggled. GIGGLED, for Pete's sakes! So, he got ahold of my husband & met him at the house, but since the tiling contractors had already begun, he couldn't get to all the spots that needed attention. So, he left & we never heard from him again. Some of the other problems I found were: the downstairs 1/2 bath looks like a gas station bathroom. What a disgusting mess! It's just gross. It also looks like they didn't take off some of the outlet covers. They taped around the doggy door & fridge access panel, but left the tape on. They did not remove the alarm panel & motion sensor. I can see the old paint under the motion sensor since it sits at an angle in the corner. And, the new alarm panel is much smaller, so now we see ALL of the previous colors. Also on the bullnose corners, you can see streaks & the old, darker color is VERY visible. Sooooooo, now I get to do touch up painting on a job I paid for! I hate painting. My recommendation would be to spend the extra couple hundred dollars & go with someone who is FAR more professional. It's definitely worth it to not have so many problems & a substandard job. read more

Josh was awesome from the start. I originally purchased the Angie's List Big Deal for $199 for a painter for a day. Josh called within a couple hours to schedule a consult. He was flexible with my schedule and came on a Saturday for the consult. He was on-time to the consult and very professional and understanding of my horrible painting skills! We spent a good 45 minutes discussing what I wanted to accomplish and what he thought would be accomplished with the one painter in 8 hours. Ultimately we decided to add on another painter ($230) and it was well worth it. I also purchased the paint through Josh. He used Sherwin Williams and I am glad he did because the paint is safe for animals while it's curing and you can really see the quality in the product. On painting day Josh and his two man crew showed up on-time. Josh quickly gave the men their instructions and they began work. Josh took off after, returning to drop off paint, and then returning later in the day to check on their progress, and then again at the end of the day to go over everything with me. They fixed a hole in one of my walls for no extra charge. The paint turned out great. The workers were so pleasant and respectful. I brought them some breakfast in the morning to say thank you and they were appreciative. I recommend Ram Painting so much- that when my new house is built it is my intention to have them paint before I move in. Josh is even going to go look at the model home to give me a quote so I know what to expect. Awesome job! read more

I wasn't really ready, so the owner, Josh had all the crew move stuff off the walls and other places to get the house ready to paint. I also have to say what great customer service Josh provided. I really liked this color at a model home I went to and I told him I would like to have it at my house. Josh told me he could meet me at the model and he would get a paint match for me.
